Everyone, please take a look in here. The matter within concerns us.

To you modders: Would his response involving the visibility quotient mean that by reducing it we'd not see the outside the play area mountains? Therefore reducing the amount of rendering? Also, if lowered enough could this create some sort of shroud in which you cannot see the entire map? Would this also reduce rendering?

It's true I have no thumbs when it comes to modding or world opinions for that matter. But, good questions or should I stop?

Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to be on my toes.

The comments did not inform us of anything we don't know. I think Roo already posted some guidlines which were pretty good but could be brought down a bit.

I have already sent dash a mission file of the pony just to test the number of textures. I'm thinnking of just cutting to the chase. IThe next map I send dash may be one with visibilities reduced, very little fog, and solid colored skies.

In the case of the Pony, there are no visible mountains to redraw, so that is a positive.

Maybe dash can toss up the maps for testing after the Canada freeforall tonight.

We played a rare 4 vs. 3-plus-bot. We did not have a full showing, so we decided to go with Predownload on our team. Fortunately he was an uber-bot. Still we lost both, but they were fights the whole way. Was more fun than going 4 on 3. Anyway, how do we score this one? It is not in the rules. :S I will defer to Ho since I was a player in the game.

Muts sweep Eds. In first game, Muts came back from a 6-0 deficit to steal the win 9-8. 2nd game loaded with freebs and Tally-spawns, but even without the luck, they had it together and played well as a team. Best couple of games in a while.

Most ISP's do not allow any kind of server running on a customer's private home connection. Basically if you run a server out of your home, you're most likely going against your ISP policies, but ISPs don't seem to monitor this as much due to the [number of] servers running in customers' homes

Im calling BS on that...

@ RX & Tally Ho
Via the rules BH should only get 4 points for last night !
No bounus due to it being 3 on 4 last night.

@ HBM
Yes was some great games last night.
Some very long blood baths at the goal.
Some sweet ass moves and bank shots off of trees (taught thisWolf a new trick on that one ). :P
Lets not forget the great in air steals there was last night also off of arrows.
In all, last night was a blast and for that I thank you ! B)

I've got my popcorn ready...keep 'em comin' CTB. Be sure to remind them about the shoelaces...

Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 7:03:59 AM

Hmm methink HAM vs HBM was 4x4. 'Predownload the Map' gave us a good fight. 4x3 is 4x3; you have to forfeit a player to be 4-3. But instead they went 4x4, opting for a bot in support. Thus, 4x4. That's my merciless assumption.

Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 7:08:32 AM

Aye. The bot contributed with bullets if nothing else.
this scenario is not mentioned in the rules; we should address it for the future. I say, if you are short-handed and elect for a bot, you concede the 5th point.

Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 10:13:21 AM

Just a reminder for Eds benefit, we played them 4vs3 , lost 1 game and forfeited second game so they got a total of 4 points not 5 points because the bonus point requirements were not meet.

That 1 point will make a difference at the end of this season.

I don't want to stick my arse where it's not wanted... But did the captains of the HBM and HAM agree to something before the start of the games? If so I say go with that ruling. Gentleman always agreed to the rules before participating in a Duel to Death. %)

Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 11:45:46 AM

Wouldn't the presence of gentlemen be required for that to be applicable?

Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 12:29:56 PM

If this is the case,

Did the captains of the HBM and HAM agree to something before the start of the games? If so I say go with that ruling.

Yes we did agree to add a bot, instead of 3 on 4, so we do get the full 5 Big Ones ! All I know is I had fun last night and that's what matters ! Thanks again HBM for the Fun games last night B)

And even if we win, if we win, HAH! Even if we play so far above our heads that our noses bleed for a week to ten days; even if God in Heaven above points his hand at our side of the field; even if every man woman and child joined hands together and prayed for us to win, it just wouldn't matter because all the really good looking girls would still go out with Bolo because he's got all the money! It just doesn't matter if we win or if we lose. IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER!

Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to be on my toes.

Invite a retard to a picnic and you'd better expect to get drool in the potato salad.

Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 2:20:23 PM

It DOES matter.

I am a gentleman that's why I discuss before I start my tank, load the gun and look through the reticle and blast away.

Once I Have cleared the field of opposing forces and the war gods no longer have a firm hold of my mind I once again become a mild mannered gentleman.

Anyways I'm not a captain, and I really like pulling your chain Napster. I really shouldn't do that considering last night...but I just can't stop myself. All those friggin splits we had have gotten to me real bad. :(

Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 9:33:20 PM

I guess it's Locos turn to wonder where the performance went. It's pretty simple to me. If I cna count the number of bullets coming form my tank, there's a serious problem. Expect some bitching at the end of the game. Those who engage me, expect the bitching.

I'd expect the same if the tables were turned.

Friday, March 24, 2006 at 4:43:01 AM

^ what is that all about.

Friday, March 24, 2006 at 7:17:15 PM

We had a bad couple of games and Delta and I had a few words (not too bad), The server seemed soft when we started and got worse. I stoped once, held down the mouse and counted 3 bullets. Made me wonder why I was even playing.

But others have been complaining for weeks, and I guess it was our turn to have bad performance. Looking towards next week.

Yah I love you Nap especially your smell. ;)

Hey did any of you hear -See Nuts new battle cry? I really laughed alot, it's great!

Do we REALLY have to fight the Bugs? The way of Zen says Bugs should bow.

Monday, March 27, 2006 at 8:03:38 AM

AHA, but that is where you are wrong my hampster fiend!! You have always had the advantage of being small and been able to crawl into your enemma's, I mean your enemy's "weak" spot... But alas, BUGS are even SMALLER and can penetrate the weak spot of even the smallest wee hampster!!

AHAAAAA!!!

LC50 s Pregame Preview, brought to you by Magic 8 Ball

God bless KBC for making the 8-ball dance! Thx!

Week 11

LCs picks (34 for 60: 57% accuracy):

Hams @ Bugs : This is the game of the week. Hams are having a good run (5-game streak) and are looking to avenge the last Bugs-Hams meeting. Bugs have been consistent all season long, and showed they could present a serious challenge to the Locos first-place spot after handing them their first loss in recent history 2 weeks ago. This ones going right down to the clock. Bugs by 1 and 1.

Billies @ Eds : Eds are on a 4-game loosing streak. After 5 weeks on the road, Eds return home to pummel the Billies with a vengeance. Billies are trying desperately to give the Eds the honor of occupying the bottom rung of the ladder. Send the kids to bed early tonight, this one wont be pretty. Eds sweep by 6 and 7.

Seeds @ Muts : After the Bugs showed us it could be done, the Seeds did a repeat and beat the Locos. The Muts showed some life last week and regained composure in their wins over the Eds. With the memory of their 8 and 9 point losses in hand from the last Muts-Seeds meeting, the Muts surprise the Seeds for a split. Game 1: Seeds by 4; Game 2: Muts by 6.

Guest prognosticator of the week: Dan Wetzel, Yahoo! Sports

Hams @ Bugs : Besides tuning in to see what color Magentas hair is dyed this week, this game is must-see TV for two reasons. #1: The Bugs home crowd is especially rowdy during the Final Four. #2: This could be win number 700 for coach Hugo, the oldest coach in the league (68), who is set to retire at the end of this season. Hams by 2; Bugs by 6.

Billies @ Eds : Rogue has had trouble keeping the Eds minds on the game all season long. Add to their normal dysfunctionality the stress of last weeks sex scandal. How the Eds fit all the leagues cheerleaders into their team bus is beyond me. Eds will be on the straight and narrow this week, splitting games with the Billies in 2 double-overtime games. Billies are looking forward to next seasons first-round draft pick, a young hopeful from the Czech Republic whose name has been echoing in the press since early February. Game 1: Eds by 2 baskets, Game 2: Billies by 4.

Seeds @ Muts : The Seeds have struggled with injuries all season long. First it was BC with a torn thumb-rotator cuff. Then t-34 with third-degree carpal tunnel. Knuckler... With some sort of... Well, knuckle problem that will likely keep him out for the remainder of the season. Now, when the Seeds appear to be turning the corner, now, when they need him the most, Bolo tears a forefinger ACL during last weeks game with the Locos. Visibly finger-limping after the game, the press predicted Bolo would be out for at least three games. Surprising even coach BC, he was in full swing at practice Monday, although several times during the day, trainers were called onto the court to pull his finger. Expect no mercy from the Muts, who have been especially fiery of late. Case-in-point: Coach Tally tied Bobby Knights record for throwing furniture onto the field during last weeks game with the Eds. Expect a close game; dont believe the boys from Vegas. Muts by 2 and 3.

Magic 8 Ball Question of the Week
Did the Bugs get soft during their week off?

Magic 8 Balls Answer: You may rely on it.

Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at 11:32:41 PM

Technically, it was a single piece of furniture - thrown more than once.
Very well done this week LC. I bow in appreciation. That part about the Seed injury rash was particularly amusing.

Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 12:25:29 AM

WOW ^^ Good job LC , very funny :P

Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 5:21:35 AM

^^^ lol 57% accuracy. I *used* your 8-ball to cheer up the troops (since you predicted victories for us) but now that you anticipate Hamsties' defeat... we're doomed . how much $$ to change the HAMs-BUGs prognostic?

How can the BUG gang of 2-stars players can win THAT many games?

Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 8:04:44 AM

Some body getting paid under the table maybe 8o

Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 8:22:48 AM

Look for Magic 8 Ball auctions on E-bay later today. Custom-tailored predictions to boost team morale! A spot as Guest Prognositcator of the Week! A shot of the mysterious purple fluid taken from within the 8-ball, it's very life blood!

Ahem... You're speaking to a 3 Star vet buddy...

Tighten your cow bells... Or whatever you wear Hug.... It's gonna be all out war tonight!!

Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 9:46:50 AM

^ Sorry ACA. I wasn't trying to belittle you lest you become invisible .
Ok I rewrite:
'How can the BUG gang of 3-stars players can win THAT many games?'
Question still unanswered btw.

Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 11:09:32 AM

Why is the smell of scandal coming to my nose? XO

Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 11:19:39 AM

Too funny!

Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 12:34:11 PM

The Magic 8 Ball is right. Outlook is not good. You should try Thunderbird or Eudora.

Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 12:46:53 PM

Great job LC! I look foward to reading them every week!

Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 2:06:18 PM

Excellent job LC-50.
I guess the sex scandal and ménage à trois with voluptous, firm chested TT loving lesbians that has removed 44 from our lineup for almost all the season was too XXX rated to be mentionned in our long list of injuries! %)

Lets lock and load! Do Bugs have shoelaces?, If so it will be their downfall tonight since they have so many feet imagine that 3 shoes with untied shoelaces! XD

Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 5:33:36 PM

Ham or bugs, I cannot decide who to root for.

Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 6:17:56 PM
