Well I'm also happy with the Magic 8 Balls predictions. It appears that the 8-Ball is wrong in most cases and I'm sure will continue to be proven wrong once again! I'll be kind and give the Slicerz a 9 point spread but it will be the Rats on top of the Slicerz. Got those connection problems fixed yet Tank0r? How about those skill problems? Got those fixed?

The Slicerz will coast though another game this week, although rumors of fresh blood in the DB may proove the 8-ball wrong. It all depends on who shows up, not to mention the over-confidence factor.

@ All,

I just wanted to put a couple of words down on behalf of Banshee and the Imperators. Thanks for the fun Desert Rats - Leopard, the Professor, Crow, KJ, Blitzkreig and Fleabiscuit. You guys play a nice and tight game with very little loop holes. Somehow even though we were 1 man short, we all had a good game. The first game to put it bluntly we were thrashed, the second was a much tighter contest.

Don't lose faith so close to the end of the season, as I can taste and see success just around the corner.

Thanks you Banshee, Deliriot and Quitter for being such great team mates.

Well done last night, you played a decent game, things look like they are coming together for your team ,disappointed that because of you guys having to build from half-way point of season that it has been hard on you. Dont loose hope , still 2 games to go in which you can play spoiler, also if you need another body, let me know I have had a couple people ask in the last 2 days , albeit they are young it would still help you to compete.

Last nite between zombie and desporados there was a problem with a so called new player, when recruited and asked to be added to the desperados I was informed he was a new player with relatively good skills. However from all the information after the game , it seems to be far from the truth in most peoples opinion that were there. Here is what is going to happen , we are investigating this , if there was any kind of entertainment /improperiety that has occurred, the game will be re-played to set the record and resulting standings straight.

Please be aware that when teams run short and new players are requested we ( Lc50 and myself ) discuss to make sure that the teams will stay relatively balanced and no unfair advantage will occur. In other words teams are not at liberty to recruit ringers on their own , this can upset the balance of the league. If all have not noticed expect for the IMPs who were hampered by the start of the season , most of the teams are pretty close on balance to being equal or competitive with each other.And on any given battle any one can win.

Will do our best to get this resolved ASAP.

Final item , next league, draft proposal, maybe a 4 on 4 format to reduce lag issues with still 7 per team. Maintain same teams so as to reduce drafting nightmare ( scrum league does this and it works quite well and keeps the competition level at a very high rate ), however say in the case of imps make some adjustments there so as to increase their competitve ability. And finally since summer scheduling is a pain for most ( including myself) we are kicking around the idea of playing 2 battles per session so as to keep attendance from being a issue and spacing it out so people can plan far ahead and make arrangements as required.

I joined the league for fun games with sporting opponents. Last night was not fun. Unsporting behavior initiated by a single player sparked more of the same from other players. The whole thing became very unpleasant.

I wish you all good luck with the league and will be happy to host games as needed, but I will not be playing in the league anymore.

@ Dash...don't let the actions of 1 person make you quit the league!!! Maybe just show up for the games & leave before the after game B/S starts...don't leave your team hanging :[ only a couple games left

Good game Imps! Especially impressive is how gracefully you take a loss. That is a rare quality.

As far as the events of last night between Zombie and Desperados, it is especially disapointing that this game has so many people in it that attempt to ruin the experience for all others. We all know that certain people such as DEMO(NEWBIE), Alt, Hoosane, Fatlips, and several other players take more joy in destruction than from construction. If they would do a better job on the programming of this game they could make it alot easier for us to weed such people out. For instance when idiots like DEMO(NEWBIE) stays in the lair all day long but does not play, he is only trying to throw off the fairness of the teams and ruin the experience for everyone else. I know that Leopard boots him as often as he can but he cannot monitor the game all day. If they would update the programming so that once you ban someone from a server, you do not just boot them once but put a total ban on them. Also they could write it so that it bans that persons entire account from the server so that he couldn't just change names and continue to cause problems. It is not a difficult programming task. Also they could cut down on the team killing by eliminating the damage you take from your own team members. If a person on your team could not kill you then it would completely eliminate team killing and might cause the children who do nothing but cause trouble to lose interest in the game all together. If the new player they added was a person who has already been banned from the league then we wouldn't be having this problem.

I feel like this game would be so much more popular if there weren't so many of these people around. When these retards start their antics most people will just quit playing and play a different online game. I think the creators of the game should care more about the people playing it. It would also be nice to see some dedicated servers with fast connection speeds.

Until some changes are made to the programming we are going to continue to have the same problems.

Indeed it is destructive to admit players who can't watch their mouth. Unfortunately there are still some in the league who feel this doesn't concern them. There's no reason anyone should accept being insulted or talked down to over an issue that can be discussed among intelligent adults. Desperados is the victim of such offending behavior and loses an other key player. Desperados is one of the teams most concerned with fairness in games and doesn't need to stand for garbage being spewn forth by sore losers. Desperados is no longer in a position to play its upcoming games.

Not that I'm counting but shouldn't the Slicerz record be 6-2-0?

@Crow- LC50 hasn't updated the chart yet. I guess some stuff needs to be sorted out first.

@all,

Please give us time to deal properly with this situation , too much hard work has been put into this activity to have it derailed at this point over one game, after all this league is about quality and fairness and above all fun.cool down and lets fix things and move on.

I wasn't there last night but from what I'm reading the "KID" only played well & helped his team win. This seemed to piss off Rouge & other team members & accusations & name calling started. Why??? All he did was play well. Is that a bad thing?

I don't know Hoosane or M3 but when playing the "KID" he never mouthed off or swore. Like all players in the league, he is a quality player...isn't that the point of the league to play the best players? If he starts being "cancer" or a "lesion" or even starts to be a jerk...he's gone. Simple as that.

Now Team Desparado is thinking of not playing which sucks for me & all of you. I just don't get it :o :o

And FYI there is a zip code in NY of 10213...you said his respone was 18213..hhmmmm....pretty close for a guess

Rogue this incident will not go away as you wish. The issue now is way beyond the identity of "kid".

The was you behaved last night is not acceptable. Just because you may be right on an issue doesn't give you the right to insult people.

For all I know Hoosane was banned for his attitude problem. What's the point of banning some players if any player can tell the capt of a team to "ZIP IT" 5 times and tell him that he should GET A LIFE? To tell the whole team that they are FULL OF SHIT ? To be obnoxous, mean spirited and insulting for 2 hours? Calling the team CHEATERS.

It may seem like nothing to you - for some odd reason - but it was enough to have a well respected player quit the league.

If this behaviour is not sanctionned, I see no point in disallowing Hoosane and Fatlips (who by the way, has never been as foul mouthed as you were last night - at least not initiating it)

Desperados will only come back when this issue is sorted out and if the player who quit is convinced that something has been done about it and decides to get back in the league.

I like the league games 'cause there's less bs than on the open servers and great intense action. It's a shame if players that I respect seem compelled to leave because someone had a bad night. We all have bad nights now and again. And ain't none of us is perfect.

Unless someone intervenes, then I believe that the reputation of the League is at risk. This thread is starting to become a witchhunt. This situation would be best dealt behind close doors by those Captains - Stan and LC - involved in this situation and have Leopard as the arbitrator.

The are too many quality players in this competition, and the last thing TT needs is for these kind of players to leave the game.

I have to agree with both Hawk and Lauryn. Everyone can have a bad night and "lose it"...typically they sincerely apologize and we all move on. Additionally, this need not be a public matter. If we are all willing to quit over one isolated incident, that also doesn't say much for the integrity of the league.

In the event that ROGUE is right, at this point it sounds like everyone is trying to draw attention away from that fact. Smoke and mirrors, smoke and mirrors...if shennanigans did occur it is at least (if not more) as offensive as ROGUE's "antics". Let's all put down the slingshots and let Lep, LC50, Stan, and ROGUE sort this out. I trust Lep to be fair (even though he does steal my kills sometimes :)

Not Hoosane, but Fatlips. I talked to kid and finally had him admit that he was fatlips. I bought the NY kid story as I had seen this SCRUMptous player at times for the last weeks or so in the lair. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and I probably failed in my duty as capt to verify throughly the identities of the ones we enroll in the league. Some of you will think that I tried to pull a fast one and that I knew all along, well..think what you want. I hereby resign as capt of desperados and quit the league games.

Just for those who dont understand some of the background Hoosane and Fatlips were out of this league due to the distruction of a game they caused in the last league, and most of the old timers here remember the problems it caused to the two teams then and the standings... Sigh. Deja vu all over again it seems

I dont know if Stan was duped or had foreknowledge , when he applied to have this person on his team he ran it by LC50 and myself with the information that this was a newer player, good but new,,however this apparently was far from truth , regardless we need to pick up the pieces. I will talk to all remaining captains to best decide how to move forward and score the last game or if a replay is in order.

To all remaining team members of Desp. Re-organize , try to get dash back,,, I will talk to Stan but in the interum prepare for the next game as per normal, if you need help or another player let me know,,I will help as best I can.

Finally, Unless I have been misunderstanding things , most players have found this season to be quite enjoyable to this point, lets not let one incident tear apart a relatively good season.

@ All As one of the last remaining Desparado's, I will continue to play the leagues, even if it's 1 on 5. I'm not quitting because of a little bull$#!t during 1 game. I've said things in anger & I'm sure I will again. Thats why I play the game..lots of emotion go into these games, if players didn't get emotional, the games wouldn't be so intense. So TankOr, if you win your trophy will still be in tact. If the other Desparado'r read this...HELP ...come & play & lets finish the league games. As far as I'm concerned....GAME ON XD

I beleive there is still the matter of behavior contrary to the code of the league that needs to be rectified. I suggest a similiar admission in this forum of reacting in manner beyond which is justified would suffice. I don't beleive the Desperados will feel 100% comfortable returning to play otherwise.

Mine are gone now too, Bolo. I'm not really satisfied with the way this seems to be ending, but I'm more than ready to put it behind us.

I'll play out the rest of the season with whoever's left from the team. After that, who knows. I played scrum for the first time this afternoon and I must say it's a lot of fun. It left me wondering why I've been wasting my time in Battlemode. %)

Well I do agree that if someone is banned from the league they should not be allowed to play. As for Fatlips though I don't see what all the complaining is about, he is easily beaten. He always loses then calls his brother to come help him and still loses. Once again until they change the programming of this game we are going to have children like hoosane, fatlips, and demonewbie who just want to ruin things for other people because their lives are so pathetic and miserable. I've seen these types of people ever since the birth of the Internet. I personally think it is a cry for help. I just wish they'd go cry somewhere else.

Apollo, I'm sure if the people in charge wanted you to know they would have told you. They did not ban fatlips because of anything hoosane did. They banned fatlips because of the things fatlips did. He's an idiot and does nothing but cause trouble. I can see why you'd stick up for him though, you two have alot in common.
