Page : 1 . . . . . 9 : 10 : <11> : 12 : 13 . . . . . 16
Hey Leopard, you senile old man...here is the.2 cent u need for 3 cent...I was under the impression that the 2nd game of our last match was agreed to be played over? If I were to choose, I would say both games should be replayed since the rules of the league were not in place as the server was not set up as such. But, it appears that is not the case this time. Hell, I am still curious to see why we didnt play game 2 of our weekend match vs. The EuroLagShield (and although I was out of town to watch some Bengals v. Steelers football, I refuse to play that team for obvious reasons). Im willing to bet I already know the reason. Hopefully the Euro guys dont think that when I say this, I dont meant to take anything away from their skills. Anyone who talks to be about BM knows that I think Trivox is the best BM'er in the league. Cept for Stan, you suck bro...haha jk. Anyway, BM is, always has been, always will be a POS lag filled comedy of errors that will frustrate even the most mild tempered players. But who cares what I think anyway?
I think at this point we need to take a deep breath and decide where this league is going. Do we want to try to save this season, or should we just concede defeat and come back in a month or two and try again on a smaller scale.
My two days as commissioner have turned me into a bit of a pessimist.
It has become clear to me that most of the league's teams are stretched pretty thin. While a couple of teams have had very bad problems with fielding enough players and have missed a lot of games, most of the other teams just hanging on and most nights only just manage to come up with a complete roster.
I'm starting to think that six teams is all we can realistically field with any regularity. We got too ambitious this season, stretched the bubble too far, and it burst.
I had in mind a redistribution of personnel from the haves to the have-nots, but unless I am being lied to, which I now realize is a very real possibility, there aren't more than one or two teams that can afford to give up any more than a player or two without becoming a new problem themselves.
The call for volunteers went nowhere. I'm not surprised. It was worth a shot though. The idea of a draft has elicited no commentary at all either. I think everyone is just laying low and hoping it won't happen.
I could just reassign players, but the problem is I don't have a sense of who on the rosters above are reliable players. It seems there are a lot of people who used to be reliable who aren't any more.
So what do we do then? We can't go ahead with getting games made up before we get the player shortage straightened out. I don't think there are any interested battlemoders kicking around out there that we could get as free agents, so what do we do?
We could try dropping the games to four on four, but we've already made that an option and games still aren't getting played. Even three on three doesn't help when only one or two people show up from a team.
The fact that more than one team has on multiple occasions been unable to field a three-man team leaves me looking for a deeper cause to this problem. This isn't just a few people being busy now and again. This is a widespread lack of interest in playing.
The disinterest showed back when we were trying to get this season going. It took a long time to get anything going. People argued about the day and time, and there wasn't much movement towards getting things going until the idea of special teams was raised.
The all-heavy team and the all-Euro team sparked some interest, at least among those involved. Looking back, I now realize that being involved with getting IronSloth going, I lost sight of the enthusiasm or lack thereof in the league in general. I got enthusiastic and assumed everyone else suddenly did too.
Forming those two special teams, as well as the now defunct all-scrummers team, was obviously a mistake. A lot of reliable players were concentrated in two teams, leaving other teams with weaker cores.
While I know for a fact that about half of IronSloth (including me) wouldn't be playing at all if not for the existence of an all-heavy team, the other four players who would have played are all very reliable and would have definitely helped to stabilize a six-team league if they were spread around.
The Euro team also has some very good and very reliable players that would have been stalwarts for other teams.
Unfortunately, what's done is done. It's too late to go back. We can't eliminate the league's two most successful teams and leave the struggling ones if we hope to salvage this season.
Beyond the personnel issues, there's also a big problem with the prevalent attitude in the league. There seems to be a lot of fatigue. A lot of people don't seem to feel that games are worth showing up for anymore.
Lag is certainly an issue. It definitely takes the fun out of a game. To some extent lag has been worse this season, but the complaints about it have gone through the roof.
There seems to be a divide between two types of players; those who want to experience an intense, exciting game, and those who want to win, and don't really care that much if they even play. The latter group seems to feel that any means to win is acceptable, and would win in court if necessary, by exploiting the rules, making claims of lag and disappearing when facing a superior opponent, or just not showing up for the game at all.
There is also a sub-group of players who seem to want to bicker more than they want to play. I've never understood this sort of person, but I've known a lot of them.
I've received several complaints in the past few days, mostly relating to games that have been played or partially played that people want to replay. Is this the second grade? Do we need to call No do-overs before a game starts? We really ought to be able to work these things out between ourselves, but it seems like there are a lot of people who aren't willing to be generous or tolerant. There are a lot who are, I know, or we'd have a lot more problems, as sad as that is.
In trying to resolve a dispute, I or any other commissioner needs to know what really happened in order to render a judgement. The problem is that the accounts of the two captains involved seem to vary in the important details, in a way that cannot be resolved by reasoning.
So how can we resolve this? Should we call witnesses, swear them in and have them testify under oath and then allow cross examination? Do we all need to get lawyers to play a cartoon tank game?
This mentality has increased each season I've played in this league. Now we're to the point where we can't keep things together.
If we're going to continue with this league we all need to get a lot more charitable towards each other and we need to start making allowances. If the game isn't fun for you, then leave. Many players already have, officially and unofficially. Unfortunately, many of those who have left have been the best among us.
We're beyond a quick fix at this point.
I'm going to strongly suggest we take this week off. If we're serious about continuing, we need to use the time to take stock of exactly how many players are actually in this league, not on paper, but in practice. Then we can look at what we have in the way of personnel, decide if we can continue with eight teams. If not, we'll contract by two and redistribute the players that are left. Then we need to get the missed games made up. Perhaps we need to work out an entirely new schedule, possibly based on the one Stan and Wiz have already created.
At any rate, I'm tired of thinking about this today. I'm going to put my pessimism away and go tuck my toddler son into bed.
Please think about what I've written and make some earnest replies.
Monkey
@ Lep
No offence but did you forget this,
TDR must make up game 2 via Supra(at their place),
due to Cliff hanging and we did not get credit for 3 kills some how
Your team broke the rules of cliff hanging ! Not to mention the fact I had 2 or 3 players pinging 1000 or higher once your team showed up yet there ping was normal before your team showed up. The fact of the matter is via league rules there is to be NO cliff hanging. You had one player that was doing this over and over and thats why Supra ordered game 2 to be replayed. Funny how a month has past and yet you just now complain about this when we have a new commissioner. So you tell me who is trying to pull a fast one ?
@ IM
At this point in time I really don't care any more, especially after Leps last comment ! My team has all ways shown up. All we asked for was, for the other teams to play by the rules and to try and keep it fair as far as ping goes. The only major problem I or my team has had besides the TDR case was this past weekend BS. So I say," Do what you want, if people are going to act like this, I want no part in this ! "
@ HA
I am sorry but I am not about to waste my time on this BS any more !
Good luck the rest of the season guys !
Thanks for all ways coming to practice and showing up for league night !
You guys have my up most respect !
@ IS
I do want to say thanks for 2 of the best matches I have ever been in, in TBML !
@ All
I tried to keep it fair for all but some people just don't want that. All they care about is winning instead of great games.
You all wonder why people are leaving, it's because of this crap Lep is pulling, when Supra order the match to be replayed cause Lep's team broke the rules. Now with this BS from over the weekend. Come on man you all need to grow up. :(

I dont know what to say. I hate to see IM spending so much time and energy and doing an amazing job at putting forth ideas and suggestions, just to confront a problem that cannot be solved. All I know is I have a 6 players team and I dont even have to email them to show up. And no, they're not all bums, they have jobs and families too. But it really isn't so hard to spend 30-45 mins a week to play challenging games. I really dont understand what's going on.
@lonewolf
You didn't want to talk directly to me or post anything about our last weekend game. So I didn't say a thing either. Now you name it BS and I dont think it's called for. Ok, I thought I had the /codes implemented and I didn't, so we started late. Ok that was my fault entirely. But on the other hand, I accepted to do you a FAVOR and let you host the 2nd game in US again, but I would have appreciated if you had asked me at the end of the 1st game instead of just leaving the server. Even though I told you on messenger a few hours before game time that I would be flexible with your team (you're last in ranking), it was still a favor. Let me tell you, no team would accept to play the euros twice on a european server. You should have thanked me instead of calling it BS.

LW - could you please submit footage of the alleged foul? Else it is hearsay. For the longest time, everyone on my team thought you were referring to another team...no one on my team noticed it. If I recall correctly, it happened in the last minute of the game. "Over and over" is a bit strong, especially since you only mentioned it at the end. Thing is, I even remember Weasel trying to tell you he went down to get a powerup or something. I'm pretty sure he vehemently denied it...I don't think anyone else saw it.
Stan's comment about what you did mirrors ours...it seems like it was at least a week until you mentioned anything about it. No one on my team worried about it. The ONLY reason I thought about it is because you tired to pull this BS in PSL7, and knew you had a tendency to be that way. As an fyi, we were in Roosters server, so don't try to blame us for any "funny stuff." Rooster is above that.
I would bolt IM. LW - I would get off Lep's back. Peace out...back to the sanity of PSL...
I feel your pain InfiniteMonkey. For what it's worth, I can only say that you're one heck of a truly bright person that I really like and respect. A pity I don't live next door to you, so I could have the pleasure of meeting you in person. Of all the time and energy that I know you've spent into writing these messages of yours, it is a disgrace that certain people choose to decline all your good intentions of sorting this out, with a poor "thanks and goodbye"...
@ Infinite Monker,
I say take this week off, agreed
I have 5-6 on my team ( old timers ) who show up to play and have fun this is getting them pissed and ready to leave. Some of them have been with me in this league since day 1
Assign a few semi intelligent scores for games missed or needing to be rescheduled or lag/ whinning issues and move forward otherwise we get bogged down.
I have been in tbml since day one, this is the worst as far as whinning and bitching.. We need to bring enjoyment back
I agree with you on above items and stated 3 things before this league started
8 teams - too many and will result in schedule problems
All heavy team - in old days in leagues 1, 2 ,3 we guarenteed a heavy for each team to maintain a balance and fun , an all heavy team made up of the best heavies is too loopsided if that was thought out, then a team of all the best lights should have been formulated
Not having servers in place and changing the date/time - needed to be fixed
I wasnt listened too, anywho screw that.... Move on... Like I said it can be salvaged if we assign some scores for missed/lag/scheduled games and just go forward , I for one am very busy and this dance is tiring me out over a freaking game.
I for one try to make it fun for the team in general even in just practicing ask anyone who has been a Rat , toasters were even promised and sent out to people in the early days as a bonus for joining TDR lol anywho stop worrying about winning, get back to enjoyment
@LW see above prof thread and relax move forward we dont have the luxury of do-overs at this point unless you really want this league to fall apart.
Man bragging rights are not worth this much B.S.
Leopard with my 2.9 cents

BTW I think Lep typo'ed MonkeY's name
And I only received TOAST not a toaster
Im still waiting :)
Hey- I read some of this, was here checking if there might be an opening. I haven't been able to play much cartoon tanks in a while and would love to be back in league play again, so if anyone can use a gun let me know, like me or not I will show for games & put in a good effort. I can host a server if need be also. Drop an e-mail and let me know, e-mail address is in my profile, (I did send one to one of the captains to let them know as well).
It is surprising to see this still running a 5-5, 4-4 was suggested in the past and always seemed a good idea, less lag, better showing and more potential impartial hosters. And man, this thread should be full or trash talk and spirited jabs, since when was TBM so retentive?
Anyhow hope everything works out
^ That's definitely great news! Hail the Banshee! Welcome back.
@ HI All,
I just got home from being interstate for a few days, and have been reading this thread rather closely.
I think everyone needs to chill for a sec while progress takes place. While sometimes it might not go as fast as we all want, there is no doubt that collectively we all want to move forward.
I sent IM an email a couple of days ago, and I would be more than happy to rejoin TBML. If I do join I want to join a team that has a low player turn out, or has limited numbers on their team.
I can commit to a minimum of 1 game per fortnight, and would be more than willing to help out the league, and reschedule some of my busy schedule. I have a rather fast wireless connection thanks to work so I could easily play anywhere in Australia, or maybe at the airport.
I would need to re-install my software, and get some much needed training scheduled in.
Under no other circumstances would I join the league. If the league has enough players, and turn outs improve then I would just sit on the side line, and be an spectator of this competition.
Regards.
SSMe
PS:- Lep you bastard I was once part of the mighty TDR, and I was promised a toaster amongst other things, all I got was a kick on the way out... Thank you!!! :) :)
SSMe
Hmmm!
Added to the stress of trying to expand the league - a noble and difficult endeavor
We have endured major top level ppl leaving for personal reasons and crappy servers
IMHO! The servers issue is what started all the problems!!!
Is it unreasonable to expect good quality and reliable servers?
Is it a smooth and enjoyable experience when the latency is lopsided?
Is it right that on game night servers are not up on schedule?
We joined for fun! No?
No amount of bickering will solve this!
Just shut up and play!
Can you hear me?
We got reliable servers now so..........(keep this up and I will
"peck ur eye out!")
Well, Ive got 3 to show for this week so far, waiting to hear from Gamera and Marmot. I don't think these guys read this thread. They certainly don't check there mail. And I replied to Banshee to show up thursday to play on whoever's team needs him the most. I will e mail him the passwords now.

I dont even have a team to play for anymore. Do I get to go back into the reserve pool again?
You still have a team Fatchick. In fact, if you like, you can be its captain. Talk it over amongst yourselves.
Last edited: Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at 8:18:30 AM
Hahahahaha, the last thing any of you want to do is allow me to have a voice in TT.
Napalm was right.
This league is beyond hope. I think it's time to pull the plug.
The problems we have could easily be fixed if there was any real will to do so -- if our real purpose in being here was to have fun and play the game. For far too many, however, clearly it is not.
There are a lot of players who aren't showing up this season. Absenteeism isn't the problem, however. It's only a symptom of a much larger disease. Lack of sportsmanship, compounded by the petty bickering that passes for competitiveness have made any solution here impossible.
We could have 50 perfect servers and there would still be whining from teams that said they only lost because of lag. We could add 20 new players to the league and if the prevailing attitudes didn't change, we still wouldn't be certain of getting enough tanks on the field.
I'm packing it in, and I suggest that the entire league do likewise. This is a big waste of everyone's time.
Lep, if you want the job, it looks like it's your turn.
Later all
Your resignation is not accepted by me.
I dont know what info you're getting as commisionner that I'm not, but it has to be pretty depressing to knock a monkey down. Isn't it possible to assemble all the players who want to play and do just that: play? I can't believe there aren't enough committed players to have some good games, even if it means going back to 6 teams. We could even start over.
Monk, give it a last try please.
Last edited: Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at 11:02:52 AM
Whoah!! Stress fun guys!! That is what we do in the PSL9 league!! Lag affects all one time or another. If you cannot accept that then..... %)
Show up,
shoot tanks,
tally up score.
win or lose,
gloat or cry,
show up next week....
Isn't it that easy?
Awww heck I am but a simple minded scrummer.
Come on chaps...keep it together...keep it simple.. Let the games go on.
Oh, and have some fun!
^ Couldn't agree anymore!!!
SSMe
Fer crying outloud would you'se all quit bitchin'
The idea isn't to collectively reach up and grab the handle and flush
Look!
Previous seasons had 3 dedicated servers - sometimes they lagged - sometimes they didn't
But no matter what the games stood as played. Even though our substitute servers are subpar,
it was the best that could be done on short notice.
Yes this season even I tried unsuccessully to move Wonders vs BoP to a better server
and yes losing that way is bitter. Fact is 3 of our last 4 games were on crappy servers
But we didn't demand a replay.
Some ppl are taking this too seriously and I for one refuse to lose friends or make enemies
over a virtual toaster.
Schoolyard etiquitte you say?
Those who want to quit - Fine!
Those who want to stay Great!
The game is afoot - and if all you folks quit then the 8th Wonders will win by default (my secret plan -shhh)
Euros and Wonders WILL play this Sat
and if you guys are smart - you will STICK to the SCHEDULE and PLAY on THURSDAY
Further delaying and backing up this league is bullcrap
I will provide one strong server on Thursday. Who will step up to the plate with me?
(come on IM push harder and leave the naysayers in the dust)
Centralized servers on strong connections is a make or break part of TBML
SO is hosters not playing !!!
Now! Drink a big glass of shut the hell up...and
Get in the game!
@rooster
Let me know what time suits you best.
It looks like 5 teams are willing and able to continue playing
Eurorage
Pale Riders
8th Wonder
Iron Sloth
Deserst Rats (I suppose so)
What's the status with HA, BOP and TPC ?
If these teams can't play any longer, lets combine their reliable players and make one helluva team.
6 teams is perfect.
Let's roll.
Last edited: Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at 4:03:49 PM
Here-here roo! I totally agree... Everyone stop crying, bring your toys back to the sandbox, and let's get it on!!!
Woot!
Sil
Yea, what roo said. XO Lets play. Im not sure how the dash bash server can be so full I have a hard time getting into it, but on league nights no one shows for the games? Many question and few answers.
@ InfiniteMonkey
What can I say, congratulations, or my condolences. At the end of this mess the team captains should give the comish a list of their most reliable players. That means a list of players that show every week even if they are not the best skill wise. This list would be the core of the next season, if there is one. :[
Maybe I should try scrum after The Eight Wonders win this thing by default.

@ All,
As far as I know The Pernicious Carbuncles are playing this week. So whom ever we are supposed to be playing please communicate with our captain AU, and let's get ready to rock.
@ IM,
I know you are not are quitter so get your lazy monkey butt out of bed, and please give this league some direction, and let's get servers ready for some tank slamming fun for Thursay's match.
SSMe
The Pernicious Carbuncles New Recruit
Okey dokey, here's the deal, HA. Weasel allegially "cliffhanged" for more or less a few times. I'm not exactly sure if he went down and got a powerup or may have just accidently fell off the FALSE clifff. The funny thing is, is that the cliff he was said to have cliffhanged on, is more or less what we would call a false cliff. Why? Because the cliff where you said he cliffhanged was actually an extreme decline in surface. In that declined spot is an arrow pad, two little hills, and a powerup. Now I don't want to cause anymore arguments with HA, but is this really worth it? Surely one mishap will happen with the other groups as well? What is the point of arguing when you can just think to yourself that you knew you won, but still just be happy for the other team? Also why must we become so competitive on these online games? We are stressing ourselves over a virtual game! Surely you agree that this game is not what revolves around your life? Well LONE I hope that settles your Weasel Theory. I believe we should all put our hands over our heads and take a big deep breath. Take life to a deeper situation, and take this game like it was fun entertainment, not a barfight.
-AO
I leave you with one ancient saying for LONE and all:
Half a loaf is better than none.
That's another whippersnapper belted by the feared AncientOne!

The last three weeks I had guys show up. Im thinking they will. Banshee will be around if we need him or for whoever needs him most, but we have a double header and I would like to play them. But who is going to serve for us? Bop and Hells angels I think.
@ stan
Where do you get that, 5 teams? We never said our team was dead , we lost Nuts thats it. My team is weak now but with banshee well be ok. I said I would take over with the understanding one match that was played on a server that a team player was on or near can be made up and IM agrees. The pictures are above. We will be around at least 3 of us but should be more thursday nite for a double header. If a server is up for us that is. We are not gone, you will have to pry the bronze toaster trophy from us.
Last edited: Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at 5:37:35 PM
Now the trophy is bronze! Good thing I'm still in. XD
For those of you who need to remember happier times visit Reagent X's web site and look at the TT convention video. Looks like it was fun.
Bel
@Im ,
Dont want mantle of commish full time I have over $2mil in projects to execute in the next little while life too busy for that and comish however, get together with me on yahoo and will work with ya to straighten out and move forward.
@all.. Hey the toasters is a tradition from leagues series #2 and a providence of the Rats, I will dig into the ole trophy pot to see if I have any more gold or silver toasters left for the eventual season 5 winners.. But be aware with the toaster like any power comes great responsibility!
Then we have 6 teams in somewhat good shape that want to continue playing. Does this mean that all this problem about attendance and unwillingness is about TPC and HA? HA was the only team so far that was able to field 5 players last weekend against euros (they even had one sitting as observer). HA's attendance seems to be one of the best. So are we only left with TPC to fix?
I think Belikin's suggestion is an important step. Each captain should email Monkey with a rating on attendance for each player. (good, average, poor). Then we'll have something to go by as far as understanding the overall attendance problem in the league.
Concerning sportsmanship, let's all make it a point to try to win in the best of way - what good is a win is all you collect at the end of the game is a loss of respect and bad feelings towards you? If any of you want to prove something in this game, it can only be achieved by being fair and playing fair. Now even though we can't expect to have all players naturally behave and play that way, we can ensure they abide by it nonetheless by making it the captain's responsability to make sure his players understand it. What this also mean is that the choice for captain is crucial. Pick a couple of bad captains and the whole league falls apart. Captains should be chosen according to their natural tendency to be fair and easy to work with in case of misunderstanding or unforeseen mishaps.
In the mean time, let's all play our games this week as scheduled. Lets see what can be done for TPC too.
Last edited: Thursday, October 27, 2005 at 4:12:08 AM
@ Stan,
I have joined TPC to help with attendance. So I hope that this minor incident is now resolved.
@ All,
It is important that someone post to confirm that the games are on tommorrow. I refuse to take time off work, or re-schedule my diary if the games are not going to be played. I refuse to be caught up in the politics of TBML, all I want to do is play.
Please remember that 9.00 pm Thurs EST(USA) = 11 am Fri EST (AUST), so I would like my day to productive. If the games are not on the politely please let me know.
@ AU,
Please respond to my e-amil as I will need a password to enter the practice server prior to the game for some small talk, and the TBML password.
Thanks,
SSME
Thanks for helping out SK. TPC has a great roster now I think
@all
Have you decided when you want to catch up on your unplayed games. Should I upload again the schedule with double headers every thursday. I think the best option is to replay these games while the teams are already online on thursday, instead of asking them to show up on a different day. Hard enough to have attendance one day of the week.
Capts make up your mind and let me know ASAP

After playing my second game today after so many weeks of being on the sideline I have realized how hard it is to get into the groove again.
Wild Child
This is just a suggestion, because I'm no longer commissioner, but I think everyone should go ahead and play their regularly sceduled games tonight. The replay situation seems to be getting straightened out. If it's possible to play tonight it would help to keep things moving along.
I'd also like to say that I'm happy to see that at least a few people are finally getting it and starting to talk amongst themselves about ways to keep things going. This has to be a co-operative effort. No one person can come in and straighten things out, particularly if nobody listens. The players - all of them - have to take ownership of this league and work together to keep it running. I'm glad to see that is starting to happen.
If you work together, you'll better appreciate what it takes to get along.
Good luck
Monkey
It's strangely comforting to see that things haven't changed much since the last TBML I was involved with.
There's a definate cycle at work here. I'm reminded of the grieving process, 12-step program, pr phases of a project:
Team Battlemode League 8-Step Life Cycle
1. Wild Enthusiasm, Unbridled Excitement, and Expressions of Goodwill
2. Doubt, Allegations, and Disillusionment
3. Hunt for the Guilty
4. Punishment of the Innocent
5. Fear and Loathing of the Clueless
6. Dissillusionment, Wandering, Soul-Searching, and Bargaining with God
7. Resigned Acceptance and Renewal of Promises
8. Return to Step 1
The cycle usually takes about 3-5 weeks it seems. SK apparently goes through an abbreviated personal version of the cycle on a much faster basis (every few days or so).
The good news is that we are back around to Step 7. Congratualtions Team Battlemode 5!
LC50
... XD...
That's a good one, LC50. It's a VERY accurate analysis!

I'm so glad I'm oblivious to all the drama. I just show up at game time, shoot little tanks, chat it up with my buds and have a good time. If we win, I cheer and laugh and dance around the living room. If we lose, I pout and complain and slump in my chair. I then return to the couch for a well deserved bowl of chocolate chip ice cream and a little TV with Mrs. Rabban and start looking forward to next week.
NOW...If I WERE to bring up something, it would be...was SSME so unhappy with IS that he faked his own promotion so he could quit and join another team? If so, is that really cool with everyone? But see, I don't really care THAT much. I'm sorry he left, but I'm glad he's back.
GAME ON!

@ Rabban,
I miss being in IS. There is no doubt in my mind that IS are one of the contenders to pick up the trophy at the end of the season.
Trust me that I am extremly busy with work, thus my direct emails, and posts in this thread.
You logic doesn't make sense, as to why I would leave a structured team like IS, and depth in talent and skills to TPC.
I am hoping that at TPC I will bring some on my talents to the team, and get more full team turn outs.
In an ideal world I could have been a reserve for IS, and kept my mouth shut, but I did leave for a reason. I rejoined TBML because I consider IM to be a good friend, and I could feel his frustration in his writing.
I do look forward a good challenge with IS later on this season, time permitting.
I guess the name of the game is fun, I guess in my case it involves restructure of my busy schedule. What I would like to point out is how many people would make the sacrifice that I make. Remember that 9.00 pm EST USA = 11 am EST AUST. However of you would take time of work to play TT??? I see some of you struggle to turn up to matches.
I am hoping that my re-inclusion in TBML will see TPC have fuller teams, and lets see if we can finish this season in one piece, and have fun along the way.

PS:- Good luck all!!!!!!!!
@wingnut
Schedule is in the header (you're playing BOP tonight)
Since no captain responded to my post asking whether or not you wanted to catch up on missed games, the schedule remains unchanged. I still think it would be a good idea to try to play 2 games tonight and reduce the number of unplayed games, but it's not for me to impose it, as lep mentioned, rightly so.
We lost an outstanding commissioner and it will be a tough act to follow. In the mean time it would be a good idea to show some sportsmanship and understanding among each other for the greater good of this stinking league, since this is the only one we have for BM. It does provide a different feeling than pickup games and it would be a shame to let it sink.
Be flexible when the other team has a problem and accept playing with less than perfect conditions without crying foul. Can we all try to do that this week?

@ all and bop ha will be there tonight double header start time 9 pm eastern Roosters hosting both Battle's.
Good luck and jolly good fun tonight, to all of you who haven't quit the league!
BOP is playing Hells Angels and we are playing two matches.
@ Red Seal
NO one said a thing about a 9:00 eastern start, I mailed my team and told them 9:30 as the schedule has it. I should at least have 4 ,, 5 if banshee shows , The only one I did not here from on my team is Marmot. If he shows well have 5 and not need Banshee. But should we add him to the team or does someone else need him?
@ Stan
Since no captain responded to my post asking whether or not you wanted to catch up on missed games,
My post
The last three weeks I had guys show up. Im thinking they will. Banshee will be around if we need him or for whoever needs him most, but we have a double header and I would like to play them.

I think there are many in the league like myself that do not have the time or skills to help with running the league but we do apreciate the time and the work that league officials and capitains(past and present) put into making this happen on a weekly basis, thank you.this is my escape from real life and my 60 plus hours of work a week and the other BS that goes with it. When I play each tank I shoot at has my bosses face on it,today at work my boss started to look like a tank, I think I need a couple days off.
I have one idea that my hep get us through the season, for remainder of season allow players from other teams to sub. Whoever plays Euros on sat(and the euros) can sub on thursday nite and vice versa that will give us a sub pool of 8 to 10 players.
I know you guys will hold this together, make it happen

I would like to change the way the games are hosted.
Each team will be responsible for hosting their own HOME games.
I am looking for hosters to host games for those who do not have hosting capabilities.
I don't beleive this league has the luxury of looking for the perfect server. We need to just get the games played.
Captains, Please let me know you plans to get the missed games rescheduled and played.
Contact me if you need a server.
