I guess when you're looking at it in the context of last year, the thing can only end in disappointment.
Still, I wish that was better.
GG locos.
Gj locos!!
SHEEPS NEVER WUSSDRIBBLED
I just sneezed.....MB im allergic to BS!!!!
B
I'm with brain. I'm also against Bolo, generally, in principle.
YepÉ Locos dun took it again.
It was a very back and forth game though. Switching servers, switching players, etc. Etc. Out of it all we came out victorious though.
Still have to give it up for the Fleas for the rest of the season though. Taking off like that during the second half is definitely worth lookin' up to. Nicely Done.
N THANKS TO ALL FOR ANOTHER AWESOME SEASON!!!!
GO LOCOS!!!!
Congrats Locos !
Thank you to all the teams for a Great Season !
Now lets get these damn Locos in season 9 :P
Bring on the Toilet Bowl ! B)

*Toasts the Fleas* It was a grand time, guys! Thanks for the Great Games!
Indeed tmo, was a good run we had. TMO, Flea, Rook, Max, should we all end up on separate teams, do remember the 5 easy goal policy.
Been a pleasure. We kick it around again.
Congrats Locos!
So when's PSL 9 comin about? I want in on this action!
UmmmÉÊwell I was running it. I'll have to go back and look for the file. Can you use it though? I've heard that you have to set up your settings to match what I played onÉ and I'm ona cinema screen.
Would it still be ok?
No the setting don't have to match. You can play with any settings. The jplay will use the last used video settings. Yu can change the video settings and run jplay and it will retain the newly changed settings.
@LilAlienD (FU)
Which resolution did you have selected in the TT preference screen? Please send the file to me also.
Just incase, here's all my settings.

Which captains (if any) are returning next season?
I am returning as a Captain XD
Highlight Reel Coming!
I did successfully tape all 3 games. However, Game 2 came out very jerky (because of some incompatibility with the observer in Ho's server that we didn't have time to track down). Nonetheless I am putting together a hilite reel. I have all the footage imported into iMovie already.
Nappy and LilAlien used jSave to record the games too, and I have those files. I got Nappy's entire Game 2 to come out fine. Woot!
However, I noticed an odd thing with LilAlien's and Nappy's files. When a person records a game with jSave, and then they leave and rejoin a server, the recording gets out of synch (and unusable). This is just a theory. Anyone else try Alien's file? With his I see a couple of minutes of pregame, but then once he leaves to go to another server it goes out of synch. Fortunately, Nappy joined and stayed for Game 2 so I got all that.
So I will try and see if we got any interesting multiple angles for some of the highlites.
If anyone can corroborate this problem I will add it to the Movie_info page on my website.

So who is going to run The Toliet Bowl and how are we going to split the captains ?
We also need 1 other person to make it 4 on 4. Not sure how we are going to figure out who it will be though ! B)

I will come back as a captain if that option is available (grabs for badge)...BUT...tally's post indicates a complete overhaul...which is fine...lemme know...lemming in waiting...
R'x I got the same thing as well with LilAlienD's file. If you recall this happened one before in the 3 on 3 tourney. I think your theory is correct. Once you leave the game the camera gets jacked some how.

I'm fine with captains returning if they want, just my opinion though.
It's important to have reliable players on teams to make them work.
It's very important to have reliable and conscientious captains, herding their cats to games.
If some of these vet captains want to keep on, let's keep them on.
As for me it's time for a turn in the trenches.

Congrata Dar , KJ & fellow Loco's!
My 2 coppers on Hugo's post:
One way to redeem the 'wuss dribble' or 'run the clock' factor is to have a system like Dash's TBML.
I don't know what your plans are but theses are my thoughts. Sounds like people are turning away from simple scoring again. -Z- suggested something awhile back becasuse of lag & poor attendance that seemed to defeat the whole event sort of.
In any match play competition clock management technique is a skill. Sure, not fun to encounter if your on the wrong end but a wise move perhaps none the less.

I agree with Azaz, In football running out the clock is a given, that's just the smart thing to do. If you have a slim lead you aren't gonna risk some crazy drive to the goal. Running out the clock with a very large lead, however, is just poor sportsmanship I'd say.
Lots of highlights! I am editing down the footage and Game 2 has got some great stuff! I am doing game 3 right now. Hopefully will finish by tomorrow.
Gah! I realized that I plugged the sound cable into the wrong port (when I was recording the games) so there won't be any sound! :(

I agree with Azazel :) (previous page)
Super job very fun, nice music. Thanks for the entertainment.
;)
I dunnoÉÊthe jsave plays fine all the way thru on my computer. I tried running a video capture while playing it and was just way to processor heavy and didn't work out at all. I'm looking into an adaptor I could use to record it into my camcorder. I have a VGA output on my iMac that says I can use an adaptor to plug it into a TV (or camcorder). I'll let ya'll know if I figure something out.
Thanks RX. You just HAD to put that part in where I just drove straight over the edge.
I really thought there was more of a hill on the other side I so could wait for a clear.
Nice DIVE there in game 3 LilAliend... Lol
Hey LilAlienD talked to Blind Cide. He has run a video recorder off his Mac before !
On a side note and talks on Toliet Bowl yet ? B)
^ It is already highly compressed.
@LAD: Heh - well I suppose I could have edited that out. %) (Send me $20 and it's gone! XD ). I wonder why the jPlay works for you and gets out of synch on other computers. Odd. Too bad because you were in many highlights!
I included some footage from Nappy's 2nd camera (it is the scene with the black border around the picture). For some reason the jPlay playback didn't come out full screen. I got to work on that.
The thing about 2 cameras I noticed is that we both pretty much shot the same things from the same angles. Next time we can say 1 man shoots from the center pointing out (which is the normal and intuitive way to shoot), and the 2nd camera man shoots from outside looking toward the center. That should guarantee 2 different angles more of the time.

LEAGUE BUSINESS FEB 3
a. If the answer to your question is stated in the recurring post at top and you ask it anyway, the odds that your next three questions will be answered enter the asymptotical approach to zero.
b. No more than 5 people per team should be on a server at once, one of which must be an observer, marked as such, or not be there at all.
c. Games begin when the clock ticks down to zero and the server flips. No more diving. This is why it is essential that teams show up on time, it not EARLY (Early meaning *not late,* maybe even a few minutes before the minute the game is scheduled to start.")
POST-SEASON NEWS:
Teams that finish in second (2) and third (3) place will vie on the 2nd place team's home court.
{{{{{ In the event of a tie at season's end, the team with the better head-to-head record will host the match. In the even the record is tied, the team with the better goals scored/allowed ratio will host the match }}}}}
Winner will play first place team in their house. Bring a bottle of wine for the chef.
Let the games begin!!!
Team Rosters
Score Board
Game Schedule
Each match consists of 2 games. Match scoring will be used like last season (W = 2 pts, L = 0 pts, T = 1 pt, W both games = 1 extra point).
Team Statistics
Observer Script for PSL
League Rules for Observer
1. A maximum of 2 observers is allowed per game.
2. Servers must not be set to more than 10 players.
3. The participation of any observers MUST be mutually agreed upon by both Team Captains prior to the start of the game.
4. Observers should be changed to RED color by the admin if possible, or the observer should modify their name to indicate they are observing (e.g. Tally Ho (Obs)).
5. Observers should not participate in any way during the game. This means no chatting!
Home Fields <----- Click for screenies of the maps.
Home games are to be played on your Home Field. In addition, each team playing on their Home Field should also host that game if possible. That way any 'advantage' to hosting one's own game will even out over the season.
