News update 5/7/06

We have been having an absolute BLAST playing team scrum on some new Mods. Come join us. All you need is to pre-download the terrain files, and you won't have to wait at all to join the game!

I have consolidated many of the Mod terrain files into convenient downloads for you. I will continue to keep this updated until one day maybe -z- will have the opportunity to add this to his Resources section.

TT Mod Pack®!!
Download the 'Official' TT_Mod_Pack® Here!! UPDATED 4/18/06 (38 Mb)
This contains all the mods created up until 5/1/06 (MonkeeMods, CrapBlasterMods, dashMods, RacerMods, TrivoxMods, RoosterMods, NapalmMods, KillinBrainCellMods, ScytheManMods, PharmaceuticalsMods and much much more).
Latest addition: This folder is now static and will not be updated. If you downloaded this Mod_Pack as of 4/18/06 you do not need to get it again.

MOD UPDATES! Here are the more recent mods created after the main TT_Mod_Pack® was frozen. mods_since_5_1_06.zip (1 Mb). Updated: 12/10/06
Latest addition: Roo's newest set: Rstr44.ter - Rstr50.ter.

These are the same files as in my previous thread , but I wanted to give this thread a more recognizable name.

Instructions for Installing the Mod Packs

1. Download the above.zip file to your desktop and unzip. You will have a folder of terrain files (that end in.ter).

2. Locate the ThinkTanks® application on your computer.

3. Control click on the ThinkTanks® application icon.

4. Select "Show Package Contents" from the menu.

5. Navigate through the folders until you find the "Missions" folder.
Folder path is Contents/Resources/game/data/missions

6. Copy all the provided.ter files (e.g. MM_Lush01.ter, MM_Lush02.ter, etc) directly into the "Missions" folder. (In this folder you will also see files such as TT1_1.ter and TT1_2.ter. These are the original terrain files that came with the game. Do not delete or replace these files)

7. If ThinkTanks® is already open then quit and restart it.

"mods_since_5_1_06" folder has been updated with Trivial Trails and 8 new Rooster Mods!

Remember: The folder called "TT_Mod_Pack" is static now. It is not being updated. All new mods created after 5/1/06 are being updated regularly into the "mods_since_5_1_06" folder. See the top post for details.

I am trying to download the full pack and everytime I click on it, I get an error page that it can't locate the file or desired page. Can you please look into this?

However, I must be doing something wrong. It still takes forever to download roos' new mods!!!
It's as if I never copied the files to the missions folder. I don't get it.

Make sure the files aern't nested in another folder. If you unzipped the directly to the missions folder they may not be in the right spot. Did you do a copy and paste or unzip to a directory?

The link to the TT_Mod_pak is fixed!

Huh? Im confused... I thought it was going to be frozen but Reagent took it out and carried on. Is it frozen again? How are the new MODs going to be distributed. I dont mind collecting the mods, zipping them but I wont have anywhere to upload them.

I will answer questions, but they should be phrased in English. :P The TT_Mod_Pak has been frozen for over a month now. New updates are in a separate folder now. Please read the update in the top post.

Oh I understand... You wont be making the larger pack with all the mods but you will carry on making the small updates.

I thought I never gave out any of the S-serie, anyway it is impossible that the IRONIZE is in here, so that is:

SwampHide-Out.ter
WinterImLechtal.ter

These must be added, unless you ve been in them (which I highly doubt :[) and added them afterwards

OK Thx Scythe. I double checked and it turns out that S6-S9 and Scythe02 were also not in the Mod_Pack folder, so those have been added as well.

The updates folder has been updated.

Tried Nap's latest: "Edge of the world" today, and I'm missing EOTW.ter. Is the pre-dl not available yet, or am I missing something?

This is the mod pack thread, not the expansion pack thread, but w/e.

Anyway, it doesn't matter where you put the zip file. What you need to do is:
1. Open the.zip archive.
2. The folders inside it will have names like "Copy to skies" or "Copy to shapes".
3. Copy the contents of the folders to whatever the name says. For example, the contents of the "Copy to skies" folder should be copied to game/data/skies

BTW, I think there is a readme in download too. You should probably read that.

I just downloaded it again on a different computer and it is in there!

I just tried it (Everyone seemed to be doing it so I thought, why not) and its in there :P. Trust your instincts Jedi and use the force..... The dark side can be very decieving

Hmm, very odd, on my file it downloaded an earlier version of the Mods Since 5/1/06, but on my dad's file, it downloaded all of it...Anyways, I guess nevermind with it not being updated, just my screwy computer. :P
