This will be a 4 on 4 tournamnet
This will be a set day and time Wednesday nights at 09:30 Eastern Time)

Games will start Wednesday JUNE 1^st 9:30 EST, Finals will be played on August 3^rd 2005

We will utilize the home team concept as in Psycho Scrum. Home teams will be required to host their games.
Each match consists of 2 games. Match scoring will be used like last season (W = 2 pts, L = 0 pts, T = 1 pt, W both games = 1 extra point).

I think this is a great oppertunity to introduce some new maps that are a bit on the extreme side. We can include some great maps by Rooster, Dash, Monkee Man, Crapblaster, Triv, Wiz, KBC, MAX CR, Wiz, and myself.
This should add a lot of variety and keep things interesting.

The only person I was rude to was The_Walrus and all I did after a snide comment he sent me was put him on Ignore ! He is lucky its end of season, speak to me the way he did in the begining of the season and he would sit out the rest of season ! You want respect you must earn it ! Treat people like crap and thats the way you will be treated !

Well, I am sorry to say, but I can't make the game tonight. I was suppose to go swimming, but my friends couldn't make it, and there's the fact taht there's a storm coming. The real reason I can't make it, is a personal matter with one of my friends. He cheated on the one of my closest friends, who is a girl. This is the second time he has dones this, I told him I was gonna hunt him down if he did it agian. So now, I'm gonna go find him and chew him out, or beat him up, eather/or. I'm so sick of this stuff, I wish I could just relax someday, but that just doesn't seem to fit my schedual...now that I think about it, CTB, I have to resign, I will stand as a sub for sure, I'm sorry for doing this, but I have to do some thinking. @ All, some of you took it too seriously, I think, but most of you were way too lax in making an effort to show up. It is still a league and if you cant show once a week for half an hour then screw it!

I think The Fun Guys were the only team without a roster change ( not much to say for our record) , but that says a lot. We had a couple of Nubes and some burnouts (me, myself and I), but we had fun.

PS 9 should be much less forgiving in regards to poor attendence. GG y'all!! ;)

Just ask Wolf Pack they will tell you how it is ! At the same time though hard work pays off ! In 2 seasons as Captain of a team we all most went to the Big Show , in our second season ! B)

Well this was my VERY FIRST TOURNAMENT in my TT career. I loved it. I just love playing with the veterans for a challenge, I wont name everyone - But you know who you are !!

@ Ho I don't know you personally but Bolo is only stating facts he is correct for CTB's maybe not for X-Terminators. How many games did you win by forfeit? Anyways the point remains you did win em, it's not your fault that the other teams forfeit.

First off, thanks everyone, thanks Nap for a fun season. Wish MS hadn't fallen apart so roughly, but with a captain who went missing not even halfway through and me and Lone always at each other's throats, it was a bumpy ride. With that in mind, my complete apologies for missing last night's game. It's the summer and I'm always off places and I just totally forgot. Despite our differences Lone, I did intend on making that game. Simply stupid on my part. I didn't reply to your e-mail cuz I didn't think there was any need to. But thanks to all of MS for sticking it out for whatever portion of the season you happened to be with us. As Lone said, we were doomed from the start. I'm thinking in future leagues the captain selection process should definetly be a bit more scrupulous. And Lone and I should be far, far away ;)

I did try to get know responsible players and Nummy was the only one who wasn't. He actually used to be EOL. I thoughht he would be good. I also did deny one or two captain requests that were posted. We just didn't have a great number of volenteers for captain chairs. Many people who played would have been good captains but were probably uncertain of their availability through the summer. It was supposed to be a casual league, but who's kidding who? Not too many people are casual about competition. My self included.

I had fun anyway, I hope all of you did as well.

I just wanted to thank you all so much. I never thought that I was this good of scrummer, but last night was just amazing, playing with some of the top TTer's in the game!!! It was such a blast playing guys!!! I decided to stick with the team, I'll be there for the rest of the games. Thanks again, it's been so much fun, I can't wait till next season!!! GO CTB!!!

I was going over maps today and was just about to post this whan I received an email.

Sheena sent me a mod to check out and I was BLOWN AWAY by this thing. Absoutely beautiful. I played it for a while and it appears to play well.
Please check out this server, I will have it up all week. Make sure you pre-install the expansion Pack as I know there are textures used from it.

Wow! That looks so cool ! You gotta see NEVA DIE's one aswell in the general section!! Maps are getting so good now!!

Nappy I took a quick spin on that map. Very pretty, but the trees are very squished down low so you can't really see the tree trunks - kinda wierd. Seems a bit large for a 4 on 4 also.

How about Roo's Primordial Plateau?

You know you shouldn't try and drive through the middle of trees.

Here's a comparision between the two.

LBT area = "-256 -256 480 480";

Primordial area = "-348 -348 512 512";

The odd part is that LBT doesn't even use all of that space either. Some is reserved for the waterfalls. There are no goals/spawns in that area, so not only in the overall map size smaller but the active play area of goals and spawns is smaller too.

Both maps have 14 jump/speed pads.
I would think that makes map navigation much easier on a smaller map.

I took screenies for comparison. As you can see there are more elevational changes in Primordial that in LBT. A couple of ravines too.
Honestly I think this is one of Roo's best maps. But, I did play this last week, (three or so rounds with Lonewolf) and I felt I was out-of-the-play much of the time. When I was killed, it was very difficult to get back in play if I didn't spawn near the action.

Have you the proper ventilation in your lab Reagent?

One question: who hosts the games? Do we get 'home field' advantage?

Btw, MM said those areas listed in the mission file do not reflect the size of the map. For that you need to go back to TGE to get it. I had asked him for the sizes of all his maps, but that would be quite time consuming to do he said.

Special Ed's would host for the visiting Cuddly Teddy Bears

If X and and anybody else make it to the finals X hosts. Any other combination would go by regular season standings.
