Ok folks, time for a CTF League, in a knockout style in the same manner as Tally's 3on3 Team Scrum competition and there will be a server (with a set password for each round) dedicated for the Tournament Matches which occur at a time of the teams chosing but each round must be completed within a set time limit.

All those interested in participating should say so here. Only people who are serious about it need apply, there is nothing worse than being on a team where you are continually let down by someone who cannot play. This is not only selfish, but spoils the fun for everyone involved, so please, if you have very tight windows of opportunity in which to play matches, don't sign up for this tournament. There will be others following it if this works successfully.

Of all the applicants interested, a number of them will be selected as team captains. These captains will then be able to pick their teams from all the other remaining players who have signed up.

Replacement players..they should have been in the draft to allow for fair team picks..in all fairness..We (captains) all picked teams..fair teams..now all of a sudden there are players droping & getting replaced bt others, who should have been in the draft. My thoughts to the captains..you picked the players..live with it..if they don't show..live with it & I'll do the same...in all fairness. I thought that was the reason for the draft :o

Its not that Captains fault that their players aren't responding.... But ofcourse we're living with it, we're just trying to figure out what to do about it now. I agree they should have been in a draft, but they weren't. So now what?

I think z nailed it at the beginning of this.....don't say "I'm in" unless you can make and stand behind a commitment. The guys/gals that do this and then don't follow through should be refused entry into the draft next time.

I'M REQUESTING SMOKIN' J AS A REPLACEMENT FOR -V-!!!

I caught -v- in a CTF match saturday and told him to respond in th forums, and he still hasn't.

A. I've played along side and against both Smokin' J and -v- in both scrums and CTF matches and after watching -v- completely dominate several scrums I think they're both equal players.

B. He's the only one I've seen actively trying to get placed (both here and in our "CTF Match 1: (sxy) kimmy vs LilAlienD")

C. And really.... Out of the 'reserves' he's the only one I recognize.

Oh no, he did the right thing in telling people not to respond unless their going to follow thru, and its no his fault people didn't. I was referring to the comment about "My thoughts to the captains..you picked the players..live with it..if they don't show..live with it". Me and Kimmy didn't pick out last teammates, for the second pick draft we were the last two..... So we got stuck the last two, and now they didn't show.

I just want to know what I should do so we can keep this thing rolling. If it comes down to a 2 on 2 match then so be it, but we got several people that still want to play, so why not try and get them in.

I did not sign up for the draft BECAUSE I was going to be gone for 2 weeks right in the middle of the season. BUT, if anyone needs a fillin for a time when I will be available, I am willing to play.

I think these are the main rules...gathered from various -z- postings

-there cannot be any substitutions or additions unless the other team approves.

-teams cannot combine.

-teams play with whoever is present unless both teams agree to reschedule within the allotted time.

-if schedules cannot matchup then the team that could not meet up is disqualified

-teams must swap colors and wait for all team members present on radar in a manner that is fair

-the winning team has the most total points from both games.

-if it is a tie then the team kills are totaled.

-It appears that maybe the CTF maturity level is below the scrummer's leagues. Hope this changes soon so these leagues can continue.

-thanks for your dedication to trying to start this tournament. We all appreciate it.

In leagues whoever shows up plays. If one team is short u play anyway. Since this is a tournament and not a league it is reasonable to reschedule within that week for a rematch if BOTH teams agree...if both teams play then the winner goes on...end of story. We played and won. We go on..
