Ah, just realized I'd left CTF and Racing off the schedule. Do you still want to do those? Do you want to tack them on at the end in 2 week increments or rearrange the schedule to insert them in somewhere?

LOL Bolo XD TMO has taken over Team PR / Global with Herc... Sence I can't participate in the actual events, no sense in me being on a team. I will however be handling the administrative leg work...
What Dates should I schedule CTF and Racing for?
I would just tack them on at the end. Less confusion for the teams so they don't have to mess with any schedules. Also gives the racecourse builders more time to complete and test the track.

Hi.. I finally managed to find the real TT Olympics thread. 8o Hopefully the other ones will fade out so other people don't get confused..
I just have a couple questions:
1. It'd probably be good to have a standard map ready for racing. If none of the better modders will make (or have made) a map already, I could try (eheh.. "Asterisk, you put the terrain in upside-down.."). If/when you do get a standardized map, I would try to have a server up with it at designated times, and a copy of the file available for download on this thread or somewhere else appropriate.. Just have it in a zip file or something.
2. Small thing. Wouldn't it be good to mention that the events are scheduled for 1 PM (13:00:00 in proper conversion format) Pacific ?

Since no one else has verified their involvement in Team Global, it looks like it's just me and Herc - although I'll have to email Herc to make sure he's still in too. %)

Sorry I've kind of neglected this lately. I've been real busy with work and a pregnant wife ;) TMO, did you get that e-mail I sent you regarding Gecko? He wants to join Team PR / Global. I don't know if he's any good or not, but I figured it would be okay sense you guys are so short handed.
Yep - he also posted in our thread - I picked him up there before getting the email. We've also added BlueBomber to the lineup. Asterisk is iffy at the moment though, with computer problems. But we SHOULD be able to field a team of 4 now, assuming everyone shows up.

CADC - no slight intended, but for now I'll keep sole admin duties for the team. This team's been through so many confusing times that it's better that there be a single point of contact for all queries and all "official" statements. However, I will need some help in mid-September, as I will be out for a week and will need a deputy to fill in for me. If you are interested in that let me know and I'll email you the details.

VERY competitive games tonight....VERY unorganized....not sure what the deal was.
I think about all of us were equal and it came down to who sank the last shot....lol
MB next year we try to make the thing more even.......i didnt get a chance to battle fatlips or get some....MB the top 2 players from each server all play together and the top 3 get the top 3 medals. Any ties result in a 1 on 1...
Just a thought.

Wanna get something clear, The first game, I tried the whole game, second game, it wasn't even worth my time...
I was truelly dissapointed after (and so was Bolo) every one left, and me fighting bolo, and him fighting me felt absolutely stupid. (sry 2 say) so I totally just gave in in the second match, it was just a disaster...
But heck, that's all the past now... So I guess I got silver metal for my team
Well, I really hope to have a vetter game next time

Cadc, actually Team PR / Global didn't get a medal today I don't feel too confortable with that second round either and now that I know you didn't really give it your best after Leopard and Trivox left, I really don't like the way it played out.
@Bolo, and all, There's never been an indi mode tourney before, so this is still a work in progress. I like your idea of having the top two from each server compete for the medals. Unfortunately, it's a bit too late to change the rules now, so the results will stand.
Maybe we can set it up that way next time...

Yes I agree SteAlth rules are rules. But please do put that idea next TT Olympics I would love for that match. I can't make it this match because I'm going on vacation and the day I come back next day is school. So I won't make it and I won't make the finishing of the Olympics.

Dang. That freebie I gave Fatlips at the end of the final round actually cost us a shot at the bronze. If I could have killed Lips, I would have tied the game with him, he was smoking, but there were just seconds left on the clock, and I wound up going over the edge instead and losing one. I wasn't thinking in "total points" mode, I was thinking in "win this damn game" mode.
Improved training paid off very well for Fatlips - he knew a trick that none of the rest of us did. But we know it now...
Congrats to all of you - you're all a damn fine bunch of players, and I'm happy I got to go toe-to-toe with you today.

Thanks Master, but you never know what I have up my sleve. This is my first and last TT Olympics. I am retiring August 30 and probaly won't be returning till June or maybe just never. But that was one hell of a game keep up the good works guys maybe next time team Team Canada may just shoot up. Ratz gotta a beating but you never know when they'll come back and bite again. Okay, well we just finished Indi Scrum Qualification Match!!! Daisy Duke ended up in server A with a no show from Team USA, and Get Some was in server B for the US, but we had a no show from Canada. LOL, Actually, Baklava and Racer445 were supposed to represent Team USA and they were both complete NO SHOWS!!! Fortunately, I was able to find Get Some and drag him in as a fill in!
