If you were not on Team Global before, but are interested in joining, by all means, put your name into the hat! :) The schedule is listed above - if you can't be there for an event you're trying out for, please don't sign up for it.

Ideally I'd like to have as large a pool of players as possible for each event, so that we can field the best team possible.

Herc - since we haven't discussed this yet, let me know if you have any changes you'd like to make to the setup. Since I can't host a server, we'll need you to do that for any tryouts.

Right - here's the low-down folks:

Last week's qualification match has been rescheduled for this coming Sunday at 3pm PST. Neither I nor Cadc can be there. That means we need the rest of you to step up like you have been in the past. You have all been the most reliable olympic team in these games and I am very appreciative of that fact.

We can field a team of 5 people, which is pretty much everyone on this list. Tha_X, BBX, Serial Killa, Asterisk, Willow. So if you show up, you will play.

Team Scrum Qualification Match is scheduled for this Sunday at 3:00 pacific!

@PR/Global, Team Europe has requested that this match be rescheduled for 1:00 Pacific time instead of 3:00. Willow has informed me via e-mail that this time would work better for him... How about the rest of you?

Sunday ok *phew* I'd be able to make one not sure about everyone else

Blackfoot sent me an e-mail a while back about rescheduling todays event to 1:00 Pacific instead of 3. I sent a request out to all of Team PR / Global (at least everyone whoms e-mail address I have) and Willow was the only one to reply, saying that it would be better for him too.

So Bimp Lizkit, is going to go a head and set up the server, I posted the password for the Team USA vs. Team Canada match, I might as well post it for this one as well... It's 2004tsq (all lowercase) This way, any teammates who doesn't have the password but needs it can join in...

By the way, last night I ran into Marrick and he said he would show up today. Last year, he was a gold medalist for Team PR / Global!

@SteAlth - Okay, even if this rescheduling worked, I have to protest against it. I do not mind rescheduling events, but you need to give us DAYS (many days) warning, not MINUTES, or not even hours. By the nature of the Internet, odds are very good that we're not just sitting around our computers waiting for the game to happen. For future games I don't mind making them 1pm PST, as it makes sense to allow the Europeans a more reasonable time. The fact that you got only one response back kind of hints that nobody else saw the email. It's a good thing I had already made arrangements for the team to (hopefully) show up in my absence and didn't try to leave the convention early to be there for the game, because this would have totally screwed me.

@Team Global/PR: So, did the game happen? If so, how'd we do?

I don't think the game happened, I was looking at the server list at that time.

1 PM PST would be nice, I could actually play!

September 30th was Thursday, 3 whole days before the event...

That's the day Blackfoot requested a time change, and that's the day I e-mail you, Cadc, and everyone else on Team PR / Global. (At least everyone who's e-mail address I have).

I also made a post about it right here in this thread... Take a look and see for yourself... You'll see that it's dated 9/30.

Willow replied to my e-mail and BluebomberX©(SWAT/NA), replied to my post. Both agreed to 1:00 Sunday instead of 3:00. There was a 3 day notice and no objections from Team PR / Global prior to the event, so I had to grant Blackfoot's request and reschedule for 1:00.

Racer, It was a one time change for Team Europe, but maybe we'll make it a permanant change. Unless there is any objection to that.

By the way, how did the Team Europe vs. Team PR / Global TSQ match turn out?

Team Europe - my apologies for backing out - I hope the rest of my team is able to step forward. But friends take precendence over games.

Hey team I decided not to make a new thread seeing as it would just be a waste of space so I'll just make my announcement here. TT is no longer fun for me and instead of looking forward to these games I just feel like it's more work to add to my schedule of homework, school, socializing, and other game :) So I've decided to leave the games and TT all together or should I say just take a "break" ;) from it thanks for the team guys and it was a blast when we actually got to play together I'll see ya all in the field some day

I sent an e-mail out with the password to this weekends event. I invited a bunch of people to fill in. I do believe both Team USA and Team PR / Global are probably going to be short handed. Hopefully you'll get some people to show up with that e-mail. If not, please go arround and try to recruit whoever might be online at the time. I've found that to be a good way to find a last minute fill in or two.

I notified eveyone on Team USA's roster, who's e-mail address I have, but am not sure if they are going to show up at all. Get Some has been out of the loop on this for a while, I think Team USA is hurting more than you.

Team Europe was kind enough to reschedule the game for next week, same day, Sunday , same time, 1pm PST . If you are the least bit interested in playing in the Olympics, then write that down! Tattoo it to your forehead for all I care! But be there or take over the team yourself - cause I have had it.

You're a very good player, I want you in if you can be in. But can you maybe tell your parents beforehand that you have a scheduled league game at 1pm PST on Sunday and that other folk are counting on you being there? And if they say no, let me know ahead of time so I can get a replacement for you BEFORE 1:30 PST.

`problem is, they think I'm obsessed with the game... And in some ways, they r right :P

Also another prob is, sometimes when they deside to make their master plan to get me off the comp somehow, there isn't a comp abailable to post that I won't make it :[
