Good news for all those that play on the Dash Bash server. Dash has installed the Team Chat script and will be available for league games. Just type /tm and you can talk with your team in private. Also, type /p for a private chat with an individual player in the server. Even more good news. Dash has developed a boot script and has given this power to a several Admins. I suggest you play in the Dash Servers if you want to play idiot free scrum or bm games.

Dash is a very good dude. He's going to make his scripts available to the public for all to have once he has perfected them. Tell him thanks if you get the chance because we really need guys like him on TT.

Sorry if this is a bit incoherent. ROGUE has been hitting the scotch today. First Sunday off in several months.

I likes me scotch like I likes me women. Twelve years old and mixed up with coke.

Hey Rogue,

Please ask Dash if he'd be willing to install Sluggy's Out of Bounds averaging script for his scrum servers. This is actually required by the PSL 6.0 rules. I noticed in our last game that he did not have it installed.

Does slug have this script readily available? If so, where can I tell dash to get it?

Did you REALLY write FREUDIAN FOREST, that is -Z- infamous map with tons of tress (and bad lag included with the freedom fries?)

If so, some practice would be good. As in where's the map duuude

Isn't the green map correct name Freudian Flats?

ROFL Hugo! I believe it was just a freudian slip.

Infamous map!!? I found Freudian Forest to be the best map ever made for CTF. I think now that he has it so high speedsh, he could afford to add it back in?

Okay, some stat compilations: These would be the standings based on point differential. This is an incomplete list, however, as I cannot find the Wk1 Fleas v Corset match, and I cannot find the Sheep v Corset game 1 score (Week 6). Anyway, here it is by goal differential:

Black Sheep = +28
Locos = +6
Bandits= -2
Destructive = -5
Fleas = -11
Corset = -14

This is a very odd score, as some of the games had crazy statistics. Some Notes:
The Destructos had a -23 score when down a man, but a +22 score when up a man, nearly nullifying those 2 weeks.
Corsets have 3 uneven matches: When down a man -12and a suprising 0 (2 ties) : Up a Man +23 against the Destructos
Fleas have 1 uneven match in which they had the uperhand...and were -5
Sheep had 1 uneven match (only 1 game score posted), with uperhand and won game 2 by +12 points

If anyone is interested in more complete stats, I can do them if given the missin info.

Also, If anyone wants me to, I can do individual stats, though maybe that won't be so popular. I would also need the missing stats for those... Good luck all this week...Off to the San Diego Comic Con! See ya next week...!

Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at 2:48:08 AM

@ Prey

BTW, there is an error in the scoring system you had. You listed The Sheep at 6-1, but I believe we are only 5-2 (2 losses: 1 vs Fleas, other vs Destructos). So, the league would be closer if we counted both games as 2 halves.

Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at 2:57:44 AM

ROR: I don't think that's right. Flea confirm?
.ps take some pics of the "characters" woudja :)

Freudian Forest was good. The 'chop-chop' lag soundtrack was unbearable. PsychoScrum would be PsychoticFrozenFrames.

@Tally: Sadly, its probably right.. But I can't find any reference to our game 1 results against Steel Corset

Game 1: ?, ? = -1? (vs Steel Corset)
Game 2: -8, +10 = +2 (vs Black Sheep)
Game 3: -2, 0 = -2 (vs Bandits)
Game 4: -3, +1 = -2 (vs Black Sheep)
Game 5: +1, +2 = +3 (vs Cerebros Locos)
Game 6: +5, -10 = -5 (vs Bandits)
Game 7: 0, -6 = -6 (vs Cerebros Locos)

-Z-

Sheep: you have lost 2 games against destructive. We split the points both matches.

BTW the only reason the sheep's goal difference is so high is because they played a match a man up but never played a match with a man down.

Fleas did the same thing.

Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at 2:19:10 PM

@Rorshoq Think I got it right... Week5 17-9 sheep. Week7 15-11 sheep (ah this is flipped). Was won by Destructive.

There is the game 1 Flea vs Corset missing scores. There is also week 6 steel vs sheep only game 2 score. From the description, the Black Sheep won both games. So new scoring totals using points:

The order win-loss-tie:

Black Sheep: 5-2
CereBros Locos: 3-4
Bandits: 4-2-1
Destructive: 3-4
Killer Flea's: 2-5
Steel Corset: 3-3-1

@Bolo

Good pont about Sheep having not played undermanned. The +28 would go down to +16 if we were not to include undermanned scores. (However, the actual score is approximately +33, as only 2 game is reflected in the totals, as BS v SC game 1 final has been lost, apparently).

Anyone inerested in individual stats? Anyway, off to San Diego. Good luck Sheep...!

@Rogue, Dash: Was hoping Sluggy would make a public release available. Nonetheless, I just sent a copy of the script to dash at the e-mail in his profile. Let me know if you want some help testing it.

Just judging by the numbers above [ ignoring absentees etc. ], les fleas have the easiest road ahead , though one dare not say anything about this is easy as the 5th place teams are only 4 pts behind the first place teams eg, ONE GOOD WEEK, and I think we've already struggled with corset. I thought summer psycho started off a bit of a snooze, but tally just started dancing.
I wish recording these matches was easier, like from a low-blimp cam that hovered smoothly over the scrum. How freaking fresh would it be to watch and analyze these games.

Thursday, July 22, 2004 at 5:22:27 AM

Ack, my just posted lengthy post has been trashed.

Thursday, July 22, 2004 at 6:27:11 AM

I must point out that both the fleas and the sheep have gotten an easy 4 points by playing an undermanned team and never played undermanned themselves. Quinkidink that they are in 1st? I think not.

Bandits have the lead as I see it. Of course next week when I tear PREY apart that will no longer be the case.

B

Thursday, July 22, 2004 at 6:39:54 AM

I must point to last week's stats which indicated a tie between our two teams. That no longer seems to be the case. "Quinkidink" that you aren't in first? Nooo, but you coulda been :).
