^ no I wasn't.

Hey, I am in mi and have now also joined ow, simply because with the time difference I sometimes find it hard to be online when the US guys are on, we need to encourage more european players, my loyallty is split, but my first loyallty will always be with mi, I am polite and honest so I don't think this will be a problem, will it Des. Although I do agree that to be in one army would be better lets see how it goes. Both mi & ow will get the fullest support I can give
Er...still no answer. My questionwhat exactly is the reason to make a new army if you already know there aren't any more recruits?
THis doesn't involve recruits at all. There are not as many people on TT as some may think, and some won't even join. Anyway, why do the new armies even start? I have seen some stupid reasons from my POV. Like BHT's leader only started because he was kicked from MA.... I mean, some people just start them w/o a reason and they turn out good, I guess that would be a kinda bad idea since some bad armies also started like that. Why can't people just see there are already enough armies to be in. If you don't like being a troop, tuff. Just work your way up over time. Just wanting to have/use leadership is no reason at all. YOu can always do that in an already made army.
But, I don't wanna rant on and on about it, just want some feedback from the new army leaders with actual reasons.
So you can control who YOU think should be promoted and YOU can decide who to fight and YOU can decide how much time ppl need to devote to yor army. That help? :o

*Yawn* aahhh, the dust. You didn't need to create this blitzer *yawn* *runs to some place far away, against flamewars*
THERE ARE MORE RECRUITs... Why are you making up otherwise? There are plaenty of recruits..... I started wa with that rubbed in my face and I got pretty much as much players as MI ! 8( so there are plenty recruits to go around.
Lucky armys that get free agents, new people, good people in one army that allows them to join another, OPEN UP YOUR MIND! Think before you talk. You have a brain (trust me I saw it :P )
But, I don't wanna rant on and on about it, just want some feedback from the new army leaders with actual reasons.
Well then I suggest you read this.

Yes, there are, but that isn't my point or the answer I was looking for. What I was implying when I was talking about them is that there will most likely be a time where only n00bs will want to join your army. On a second note, getting a member from another army is ok, but would be more wise to get them while they are freelancing.
Think before you talk.
What? Are you implying I don't think about what I am saying? Trust me, I probably think about them alot more than you do.
Ok, sure
Thanks for saying we inspiriing blizter and there are some recruit like I dont take noobs who cant play if you see some one you want keep asking them giving them beter ranks till they join it the way I do it and it's work out great for me
Well, if you want the really good people: Ask if they want to join, tell them they have a couple of days to decide, then get back to em a couple days later.

Yes I use that tecquicle to both are very efective
Well, I guess it is something of a human intuition. Many people want to lead things - a company, be a general in the army etc - Some people, like me for instance, would perfer to make an existing organization / army etc stronger.
Now there are indeed some fast-developing new armies with capable leaders. Hopefully one day they will be strong to challenge some of the best old armies here.
However, my message to new army leaders: If you've got a solid base (ie. 5 + members, well explained rules etc) stay the course, every army has the equivalent of growing pains, its how you deal with those pains that determines the success you will have in the future.
PS: Army leaders, check these links out:

Well, the reason I started MA was because: I was watching all the other armies and they seemed to expect u to come to the wars, come to practices etc. Even if they were so new they didn't know exactly how to get it all done!

Yes, there are people who can make an army and be able to put enough time and devotion into it to make it a good army, but there are a whole lot of army leaders who just post "this is my new army __. Plz post if you want to join, we have many open spots!". Then when that army fails, they sometimes change their name to make it harder to guess that they are making all the armies and make another one. And another one. And they keep on making armies until they are finally discouraged enough to stop. Others say "it was my dream to make my own army" So what? If you make an army, MAKE AN ARMY . , not a little n00bish first post and then come back in a couple of days to see if anyone wanted to join. An army needs to have members, devotion by everyone, good rules, activeness in wars, practices and posts, etc. If you cant do this(and the stuff in spirits threads), then don't make an army.

I am not for the new armies, but I am not against them either. New ones like DT are true inspiration if you ask me. Although, I have seen some others that have not done so well... I am not calling names out either.
My question is, what exactly is the reason to make a new army if you already know there aren't any more recruits? This question has pondered me for awhile.
