Map change for tomorrow. We will play on Medulla Mesa. Unforseen difficulties with R1 Afghan Flats. I will try and get this fixed and add it back in later.

Yes, the maps were altered, so everyone has downloaded R1 version in the map pack. Yes, crappys still has the ammo gate. Its too late to try and fix it for everyone as many have downloaded the map pack.

I think its better we all play stock tomorrow, and try and get this settled after opening night.

^ only the hosters have to change the file. I have fixed the mission file and tested it. I have email, BC, Rooster, Dash, Dazzle, and you. There should be no issue using the r1 mission file I sent throught the email. You can test it in my server. It's the same sent in email. I will post the new collections as soon as.mac decides it wants to work again.

Again, the players do not need the mission file and the terrain was never altered. There is no R1 terrain for CB's desert. We can easily still play that map if you choose to do so.

Repaired my TT by joining CBs server
My server is up and running with league pass and admin

@ the PTBs (powers that be)
Not for nuthin fellas but strict guidelines for modding league games should be created
I did not have a "demo" folder in my XPacks
This is getting sloppy

Well, since the hosters only need to change the maps... Well see if we can get it to afghan.

If you play on a medulla server, so be it. Tonight it may be Medulla or Afghan. Whichever it is, play on that map.

It would be a shame to start the first week using stock maps and not sticking with the themes :[

I have checked my mission file for Afghan Flats and all is good (arrows ammo gate etc), so whoever will be hosting the HA and NC game I would prefer to play on Afghan Flats and I am sure that NC would prefer too, so if you are having problems with the mis, give me a shout IM or email (in profile) and I can send the.mis.

Nap, Have checked the map pack you sent earlier and all is good, except RX server is still Hosting Medulla Mesa, LW has emailed Rx to see if the map can be changed before the start of the match. However as I have said above I would prefer to play on Afghan Flats rather then stock lush, so if you could host a back up I would be grateful.

I sent out an email about this game to my team on Sunday. Only two people have replied, which means that I may only have a team of three X/. Am I allowed to just play three, or do I have to forfeit if nobody else shows up?

You are allowed to play three but if the other team fields 4 then it could be 4 on 3
Its entirely up to the other captain and whether or not they all show

Some captains will go 3 v 3 - it depends - usually a poll is taken of teammates
Remember everyone who shows wants to play

Due to no show and no e-mail responses, rats have officially dropped pommy and dinoboy, get some is still considered a long shot sub and may not be viable either... Fntm has had map trouble and is working on the problem.

Well...
We played 3 on 3 against The 8th Wonder it was fun, We lost 1 and Won 1, first game we couldn't make up a 1 point deficit, and lost to the 8th Wonder, Very nice game by the way,
Though, we played 3 on 3 lag was still a major problem, At times I couldnt' see my bullets, and died without knowing myself smoking(others experienced same problems), but Overall it was fun, both teams had good games...
here are the screenies for both games....

That was fun! Two wild and high-scoring games. Both teams played well, but since NC had a heavy we pulled away with the win :P. Just joking, I don't think we have an MVP. Everyone played really well. Best TBM I've ever played!

Also you forgot to post the change that needs to be done in game 1
Score final was in screenie,
NC 52
HA 50
Here is why score needs to be changed.
In game 1 BC was shot off the map 2 times due too double arrows
to bring our score down to 48.
I also went of the map 1 time in game 1
to bring their score down to 51

So final for game 1 is
NC 51
HA 48

Game 2 scores are as posted in screenie
NC 60
HA 55

The only way to get shot off the map using arrows is to keep the foot on the gas, knowing that I never get shot off the arrows. Maybe some practice on these maps before the match would be a good idea guys. Just trying to cut down on future arguments. XD

@ Lone: Sorry, forgot to post the edited score. But in the future, I don't think we should change the score when someone falls off the map. It's just part of the game.

I think what Lone is trying to get at is the fact that teams do not gain or lose points for going over the edge.

You will lose a point individually but the team totals do not change so if someone is smoking badly and for whatever reason falls off the map, a point is not given, or recieved. I think the formula is flawed in this process though.

Each kill is not worth 1 point, it's actually worth 2. When you die you lose a point and the other team gains a point. It's actually a 2 point swing for each kill.

For example:
I eliminate Hum bot and the score is 2-2 Humbot and I have 1 kill each.

I die

I lose my individual point but the team keeps 2 points and the other team does not gain a point from my death.
This screen (to be accurate) should read 3-1 instaed of 2-2.

Also there's nothing stated in the rules about adjusting points for the games. If this is to be done it should probably be added to the rules at some point.

Ah a bit more complicated than what I thought. Sorry didn't know about the way the game calculates points. I thought that opposing team would get point if I died by falling off.

I think point adjustment is tough. It becomes subjective in most cases.

My opinion is that we should probably not do this. I am open to discussion on this.

It's a tough call seeing many of the games are decided by a very small margin. An as I stated it's a double point swing.

It is subjective, and there will always be someone that falls off the map. I think it's an issue that needs to be addressed if it happens excessively. With the map we played yesterday I'm surprised it didn't happen more. If you're not on the brakes after the double arrow, your certainly going to shoot off the far edge of the map.

I'd suggest dropping it unless a team uses this excessively to get a new tank and avoid the opponent getting the point for the kill.
