Page : 1 : 2 : 3 : <4> : 5 : 6 . . . . . 9

In another thread, it was mentioned that a team scrum trio is undefeated at 9-0 against all challengers.

The team consists of Bolo, Jangles and HankstaTanksta (I believe). I think it would be very interesting and lots of fun to read the results of those matches. I am sure that these guys have it documented somewhere (perhaps even framed and hanging on their walls, if I know them at all). Can you post those results, fellas? I would like to see who has already challenged you guys.

I am interested because I think I can put together a team scrum dream team that can actually beat you guys.

Maybe each of them have lost to you while on other teams, but I would like to see them play together as team.

Here's whom I would love to see play. This would be Paisano's dream team for team scrum 3 on 3.

TankGirl

Sizicus (Ben)

44

Here's how it would go down (in my book anyway):

Sizicus would be able to handle Bolo when it comes to pure fire power (Ben is considered by most to be one of the greatest battlemoders of all-time).

TankGirl would be able to hold her own against Jangles when it comes to making long runs and scoring.

44 would seal the deal because he would be able to take care of Hanksta...when it comes to both battlemoding and scoring spectacular goals. It would be close, mind you, but I totally believe 44 would have the edge as would the others in their matchups.

Obviously, all this is speculation and looks great on paper (on the screen). The only thing that counts is what happens on the playing field. I really would like to see these six players go at it! I would also request that they record their games! Regeant X can help with the movies, if he's interested. Z can then post the movie so we can all see it!

Alternatives: If any of the players I mentioned are not interested or can't play for whatever reason, I would also nominate these amazing players to fill in any slots: Burnsie, Tally Ho, Vash or Stinkfingers. Any of them would do fine!

Jangles, why in the hell did u ask me if I wanted to play three on three last night, I was in indy scrum I was not playin with my team, I guess its because I dont have a team, so next time if u want me to play three on three with u, pls have a team waiting for me as usual.

Vash, you silly lush, I asked "teams anyone?" - as in you and I play on the same team or against each other for fun.

It had nothing to do with a challenge.

Oh my bad, sry, I just want to say hell anyway.

Just for fun, I would love to see the FU boys (LilAlienD and Corey) along with a third player challenge the champs!
I think it would be much closer than many would think! They play so well with each other and could be a thorn in their sides!
As for their third player, I would suggest Chop! Chop! Or whatever his name is these days or Ohio/Daisy Duke who isn't an official FU member but has played a lot with and against them.

Food for thought...

Go FU!

Friday, July 23, 2004 at 2:42:36 PM

All these matches are about fun, paisano. Last time I checked, I was driving around in a cartoon tank, excessively drunk and very stoned. OH! OH! DRUNK DRIVER!!

FWIW, the whole CHAMP challenge came about as a suggestion from Tanky and I to let others try and beat the best. We cared not to play that often, but still loved the game. (Like others have posted, "They always come back!" ) Bolo posted the original thread on it months ago and now we have this one.

For us it's simply intense entertainment in the wee mornings. For some of the community, it's seems to be much more. But, then again, nobody likes losing.
If we logged all the "fun" games we've had and won, our record would easily be 40-0......but, that would be gloating. (Insert smiley face, Laggy, please.)

There is no individual award in TT, but there sure as hell is a team one. And, that honour, my friends, goes to THE CHAMPS!

We welcome ALL "FUN" matches.

Lonewolf, start practicing. The weight of TT Land rests on your shoulders next.

@jANGLES
I agree with you and think it's all great fun! I can't wait to see what happens in the coming weeks.
Also, in the extremely unlikely event that the champs ever lose (insert shocking GASP!), please don't think that everyone in TT land will all of a sudden think that you guys are washed up or anything. Everyone would still recognize your 3some as the one of the best there ever was and no one will be able to take that away. So, enjoy the moments and keep on having fun.

Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 12:55:24 AM

Paisano, why would you ever think the loss of admiration and envy from the TT community would affect my life? You don't know me from Adam. And, you certainly don't get my sarcasm.

I JUST LIKE VERY, INTENSE, GAMES.

But, I will enjoy the moment and keep on having fun.

Thnx,

J

@J

What's the story on the game Anon and I played against you and Hank this morning? Was that a "fun" game?

Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 7:47:13 PM

Oh, the one where you two played against Tanky and I joined in late? Or the one we didn't have with a fresh start because you had to rush off to work and Anon was too tired? As I've mentioned in a previous post, we have lost games, but never a match. However, usually those matches start from scratch and involve two whole games.

In any case, I always enjoy playing with/against you and certainly enjoy your humour. Hopefully, we can have another "fun" game soon.

@J

No, I think we're talking about different games. I was talking about the game where first Anon and I played one on one while you and Hanksta watched -- and then you and Hanksta challenged Anon and I to a two-on-two game immediately following. Remember, you, Hanksta and I had to switch out right at the beginning so that Anon could remain Blue?

It was a full game that began at 0 - 0 with all four of us playing and me announcing that I only had time for one game.

That's the game I was talking about. Do you remember more clearly now?

I enjoy playing with you too. Cracked me up that you were Gorganzalez.

Next time let't play 3 -- this grasshopper thinks he may be ready. What do you think, Master?

44 get a third partner and make your challenge. The bolo awaits....

Sunday, July 25, 2004 at 1:02:38 PM

@44 I remember that game.
That was the on with the fake(imposter) jangles who scored zero right?
I believe that was a 2 on 1 game because I was the only one making any effort.
That was a tie between me and anon we both scored 7 points a piece.
I wouldn't gloat about that game buddy because once anon left you did horrible.

Sunday, July 25, 2004 at 4:40:16 PM

Hehe, that's funny XD

Sunday, July 25, 2004 at 5:24:20 PM

44, Anon, & Stealth vs THE CHAMPS. With a dedicated server that should be a good match. You guys might want to practice your shooting first.

I'm really liking the fact that others think they can dethrone us. All I can say is.....Bring it on. We all want the bragging rights, EH?

Once we're done with Lonewolf, we'll gladly dispose of the recent feather-rufflers.

And just where are those Blacksheep?

Arriba Arriba....

J

Sunday, July 25, 2004 at 6:04:55 PM

Hehe, yo 44, remember we talked about teaming up for the 2 on 2 tourney?, looks like we might get our chance after all XD But SteAlth and Anon on the same team? Wow, hell must've frozen over.

- what the heck XD It's just a game ;)

@Hank

Now I'm very confused.

Jangles was an imposter? Why then, in his post above, does he seem to be remembering the game? Is Jangles' imposter also making posts as well?

Also, how is it that you remember me playing 'horrible after anon left' when I left for work before Anon? I was the first one out of the room -- Jangles (or his imposter) seems to remember the same thing. Kind of strange.

Re-read my posts and confer with Jangles to get your stories straight.

Nobody's gloating. I'm just becoming confused by the sensitivity and defensiveness.

Sunday, July 25, 2004 at 7:11:31 PM

44, stinks, and i...

If the stealth and anon thing does not fall threw...

Im still looking for a team.

@44 Hmmm maybe it was jangles? He must have been drunk.
Sorry for the confusion 44 I remember now the second player after you left was NavySeal.
I got you two mixed up since you both have the same playing styles.
I remember NavySeal jumped into or 2 on 2 match and began to battle me, So I had to pause and tell him it was a 2 on 2 game.
Kutos to you and Anon you did win that game.

@J

Agree that myself, Anon and Stealth might make for a good match. I'm a weak shooter which is a big drawback against you guys -- very agressive game play. Smart money would be on the champs, but give me two- or three-to-one and I might make that bet. Glory is such a powerful draw. Is it good to be king?

@ Paisano: how much are ye paid to promote this infernal trio? :P

Monday, July 26, 2004 at 5:32:55 AM

The scrum stealin', free wheelin', blow dealin', Alley McBealin', champs are ready to rumble, tumble and stumble their way to another victory of great stupenditude. Challengers great and small from all across tera firma and the great beyond are welcome to come and take on the killingest, chillingest, pie fillingest dispensers of destructitude that have ever rolled across the hollowed hills of the hypothalamus.

Only $49.95 on pay-per-view.

Monday, July 26, 2004 at 7:15:44 AM

Laggy is trying to take Paisano's job?

Monday, July 26, 2004 at 1:42:58 PM

LOL... You guys crack me up. It is not my job to be the Don King for the champs! I am not promoting them.
If anything, I want nothing more than to see them go down like Frasier!!! I want to see them dethroned!
Re-read my original thread and you will see the tone is not in favor of the champs. I respect them, but I want to see them humbled.
Sadly, it might mean that they come back with a vengeance and be even better!!!

Monday, July 26, 2004 at 1:50:59 PM

I think I may have a match for ye pretenders to the throne. Will return soon with more info. FYI. I'd advise the 3 of you to buy a can of WD40 and lube up your space bar, you'll be using it a lot.

@Rogue
I think I know your team. Yourself, LC50 and FatLips? The Battlemoders Brigade...huh?
I played a team scrum game recently and I could swear that every well-known battlemoder was playing in that game and doing well!
Including the three mentioned above...and even diehard bmmers like Stan, Willow and Cloud and lancer.

Medulla is a fb haven. Both games we have lost were on that map. Ho and I discussed that the other day. Still we havent lost an actual match. Better hope the luck holds V.

Yes B, it's a scrum match. Total points of two games to determine victors?

Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at 11:11:08 AM

@Bolo
I understand your doubt about the scrumming abilities of Rogue and his bm buddies, but I've seen them in action and it is very impressive.
Maybe it was because my expectations were very low for these die-hard battlemoders, but there played exciting scrum! Was there a lot more battlemoding going on, you betcha! However, that seems to be the gold standard these days. It seems as if the best scrummers are also some of the best battlemoders. That didn't seem to be the case a few months ago, but things have changed.

I think it will be a bloodbath no matter who wins. Please have someone record it. I don't think it will cause any lag if one person does it.

Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at 11:41:04 AM

Let's get it on!!! I pity da fool who don't eat my cereal! (Does anyone remember the Mr. T cereal?)

Before anyone lets a simple challenge ge out of hand remember this:

All these matches are about fun. Last time I checked, I was driving around in a cartoon tank, excessively drunk and very stoned.

Although, trash talking before and after the match is encouraged.

On that note, we are ready to dismantle Paul, John and... Wait? Who is that other tank? Ah yes, Ringo.

We are your Yoko.

What happened to George Harrison? Would that be Tally?

I can also enter as a red dot seventh player and record the game on video as an observer if you want. Then we could sell DVD's of the match to raise money for -z-. Just a thought!

@ paisano

Well the hard part would be finding Chop Chop for the 3ed man... Seems to not be around these days... Any one seen Chop Chop or UrSoDead? Let us know... That would be a good game I think, If we can find him or a 3ed man we will take the challange ,... Or make the challange whatever... Bolo let me know. FU is game.

He is also very strong.
