The people have spoken! The much anticipated 3 on 3 Team Scrum Challenge is here!

In order to keep the flow of frequent competitive well-matched scrum games, let's try the same sort of challenge system that is happening with the 2 on 2 games. This is not a tourney. Just a way for us to play some organized ball. Form a team and sign up to play the current winners. We will keep a continuous list going. To sign up, simply post here. Whoever wins a match takes over and keeps going down the list. This will keep people in tip top shape for the next tournament!!

Matches are done the same way as in PsychoScrum League: 2-game match scoring system. Map selection has been pre-determined (thanks Napalm!) by a random selection of maps from the following sources: all 12 BraveTree original maps, PSL8 approved maps, 3 on 3 Tourney approved maps, and 2 wiz/triv maps. Note that this is the same list as in the 2 on 2 challenge thread, just in reverse order. Effort should be made to use a server that is mid-way between all players.

Challenges should be played within a maximum of 1 week, and preferably within a couple of days. Let's keep this fast-moving and up-tempo! Feel free to switch up teams and get to know some new people. The goal is to have fun, be good sports and take the competition and gameplay to the next level.

Humour and good-natured jib-jabbing is encouraged. However, negative trash talking and insults will not be tolerated in this thread. Feel free to create another thread for that. This is a "family"-rated challenge, not a see-how-low-you-can go gutter-ball game, and it is not the place to settle long-term grudges. That can be done in another thread.

As winners of the 3 on 3 Tourney , the Kinetic Shrapnel Jammers (Reagent X, Tally Ho & Lonewolf) will kick off this event.

EDIT (2/11/06): For the record, below are the early games of this challenge. The challenge is evolving into 3 on 3 matches of teams that want to play each other. The winners don't have to keep playing, other teams that want to play can sign up and play when everyone is ready. This should help keep the games flowing and may help prevent "Champ-itis" from setting in. A 3 on 3 Champion Team will not be determined here, but will be determined in future Tournaments.

Agreed. Bolo can't make it tonight anyway so we can't do it. I'm leaving for a 3 week long trip in a couple of days so it wouldnt be fair to make the other people wait to face us if we won.

As soon as one of us gets et's email we can establish a positive time for this. I know that my whole day Monday is planned, and tuesday is no good for lone, so maybe Wednesday some time late?
