Overview:

This alternate scrum league will have its games Thursday nights at 5:00 pm PST, 7:00 pm CST, 8:00 pm EST, 1:00 am GMT , etc. Since most people are already hooked into PSL, we will probably only get enough people for 3 on 3 teams. Each team will have a home map and a hoster who is proven to not have much lag.

Season:

Each season will start as soon as we have at least four teams of 3 and at least three backup players.The season will last long enough so that each team plays every other team twice, and matches will consist of two games, as in PSL. However, entry to the playoffs will be based on season record and not "league points." The top four teams will make it to the playoffs. In case of a tie, entry will be based on the teams' record against each other. If this is the same, there will be ONE tiebreaker game the following week to determine entry.

Draft:

Players may sign up from the locking of the discussion thread for that season to the locking of the recruiting thread for that season. The previous championship team will receive the last draft pick and the team with the worst record will receive the first. In this case, there will be a draw for draft picks and the team with the last draft pick will have their bye the first week.
A team has the option of booting a player ONLY if they have proof of unacceptable conduct by that player. Backup players may be picked from the pool at any time if a team cannot furnish all its players for a given week.

OK, now this REALLY isn't working out. No one is coming, a few people quit...I think it would be more humane to end this league right now than to botch the rest of the season. All in favor say Aye.

Hmmm, Monica, maybe just one person controlling it might be overwhelming for that one person, you specifically. If you want to, maybe we can restart the league and I can help you out abit since you have helped me countless number of times. Just a thought. If you are thinking of quitting this league, I hope you restart it in the future, I would definetly like to help.

Ok, I agree that it would be best to "shut down this league for maintenance". The captains (and anyone else that wants to help) should, if they still wanna be captains, arrange different things: Set of rules, definite scoring system, chart system, hosters, time, etc. Some of those might stay the same, like time/night, but others, like league hosters, would have to be set up. :)

P.S. I'd still like to reschedule last week's regular match against DwN with Jay when he gets back, just to see which team is the "top dog". ;)

Hmm.... Interesting. If we start this up again we definately need a map/chart. Also permanent hosters would be a lot easier. Don't give up on this guys. Maybe start it back up in the summer, get some more players and another team maybe. I'll be there XD

It is all up to you Monica. You started this, and I don't want this to die either. This is a good idea, just needs some time and more comissioners (no offense meant).

If we go with ^, then I'll volunteer to be a 2nd rank comissioner, especially during this upcoming summer, when I'll have plenty of time to help.

@Jay: Can we have the game at 9:00 EST instead of 8:00 on Thurs? I have a baseball game that I won't get back from until about 8:30.

I cant do any games that start past 8 EST as thats 1 am for me and finishs at 2. Now if it was 9 EST that would be 2 am and finish at 3 am, I can stay up as late as I want but id rather not kill myself lol. Plus it wouldnt be a fair match with me mistaking rocks as tanks and trees as goals :P

Let's restart this in the summer. It's getting messed up. Blitz will be 2nd commissioner. Jay, Jedi, and Banana will have more authority. Rescheduling can only be 1 week or more in advance. Etc, etc, This is going to be more organized.

What happens if theres an emergancy etc..... Or if you randomly find out your going on holiday a few days before you go? Lol

Another thing to think about,
this is 3 on 3 right ?
Then get rid of the big maps.
No offence Monica but our home map is way to big for 3 on 3
Not to mention the flag falls off the map,
like 7 - 10 times in a row per game.
I be willing to give this another try.
All I ask is don't waste my time !

Not only am I a Dog trainner,
I also do in home pet care
& last but not least
I also run a Landscaping Comany.

So as you can see,
my free time is very little,
until late at night unless I take the time off from work ! B)

Nothing but Psycho league will work. That league barely survived the first 3 seasons and there are still some glitches. Not enough scrummers on the same time zone etc. The logistics are to blame. KKB

If anyone is gonna restart it then I would like to be on a team.
