@Triv - hmm - that's what I guessed once... Perhaps I just entered something wrong.

Monday, March 07, 2005 at 4:47:35 PM

Cant get to the link! Unnghhh lol.

Monday, March 07, 2005 at 4:48:33 PM

I couldn't even find out what the riddle was??? I just got stuck on trying to open the door, is that what I'm even supposed to do? It says "no point in clicking thing" <--- is that the riddle cuse that makes no sence.

Monday, March 07, 2005 at 6:08:09 PM

@Triv: I've guessed the answer is this or this , but both of them are apparently wrong. I get a message.

@TMO: You're 100% percent on the right track, but why it says too new? Notice the title bar of the lvl 7 saying "he went to the old school". What does old school means? You might need some googling in this.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Thought of that, but have found nothing that indicates that wasn't the original name. All I've been able to find was that it was introduced in 1979. The official website contains ZIP historical information.

Obviously the information is out there, since everyone else seems to be able to find it (or cheat their way thru) ;) , so I'll just have to look harder. Thanks for the assist. XD

Tuesday, March 08, 2005 at 6:23:13 AM

If I could find it from google, anyone can find it from google. ;) Thought I felt myself so stupid after I found the old name, because I should have remembered it. My bro knew immedietly it's older name, but he couldn't figure out the newer name?!? Lol.

PS. I have eaten them too when it still used the old name. ;)

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

I found the problem... It was NEVER CALLED THAT over here!!! XO

It was originally released under the exact same name that it uses today. It just was called something different in Europe, where they later changed the name to be the same as it was everywhere else in the world.

But I am going to have to add another site to my search list besides Google, since Google was absolutely worthless - I suspect all the sites with the information needed are in other languages, as the countries where the name-change occurred don't speak English as their native language (primarily north Europe, with Portugal thrown in for no apparent reason...)

Tuesday, March 08, 2005 at 8:45:06 AM

LOL. This took me a bit of googling too TMO. 4 days (who knows how many hours) on this thing and I'm still only on level 21. Obviously I'm not as smart as madmark XD

Tuesday, March 08, 2005 at 8:47:42 AM

@MP: I have too much other work to do to spend 4 days. ;)

@Triv: Yup, made it. Didn't even look at it yet though - it's not a work activity. ;)

Tuesday, March 08, 2005 at 9:29:50 AM

It took at least 3 days to finish it, it was fun though, thanks for showing me that Triv!

Tuesday, March 08, 2005 at 10:53:15 AM

Got to lvl 16, this one looks very hard. Couldn't figure out what to do exactly with the numbers in the pictures. I do not need spoilers nor want.

PS. MadMark, you finished this already, really? Wow nice job.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Wednesday, March 09, 2005 at 4:42:35 PM

^You better to not continue playing this game.

Now I'm in lvl 18, that one is pretty erm...interesting. I found someting very interesting from that lvl.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 8:55:11 AM

Quick question - looked briefly at lvl 8 yesterday - got sound, but no visual from the file. Is there supposed to be a visual component? I've had that problem before, so I suspect that I'm not seeing it.

Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 9:54:44 AM

Sorry you talk too literature for me at least. ;) You mean that the picture of level 8 dosen't show up? There should be a picture, which have a guitar and some band equipment. That level also have music, I believe all levels have music.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 10:07:38 AM

I was trying to avoid spoilers. I downloaded the avi file. Is it a movie, or just a sound clip? If it's a movie, then my computer isn't working right, because I can't see it.

Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 10:20:03 AM

Oh, yes it's a movie, but it's not necessary for solving the riddle. For me it looked like a commercial of a game called Deathball(or stg similar). I watched it and though the answer would be in it... I was dead wrong. (Hope I didn't spoil anything for you, saves you time when you don't try to get it work.)

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 10:29:00 AM

Oh, good. I'll just not take the time to mess with it then. Thanks!

Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 10:53:36 AM

@TMO
Look in the web page source. When you click on the hole of the guitar the hint is"mom, he formatted my 2nd song"

Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 2:53:41 PM

"stop being so negative"What the he88 does that mean?!?!?!?!?!

Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 6:31:24 PM

^You won't find anything from the picture. Look at the titlebar and after that the URL. Titlebar says: "Turn me ON"! And the URL looks like this ~/notpron/false/gototheothersite.htm. What can you turn on? Shouldn't be too hard. ;)

@TMO: You figured this out? If not here's a hint. Dunno if you figured this part already.
JAY PACK, say it loudly and proudly. How did you pronounce it?

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Friday, March 11, 2005 at 5:47:31 AM

On the road this weekend - haven't had a chance to work on it at all since I last posted.

Friday, March 11, 2005 at 6:51:56 PM

Me neither, mayby today... Mayby.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 2:38:55 AM

Just started, LV4 now.

Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 4:53:09 AM

Stuck on LV 4. Can't determine how to use the Morse, but I know about the clock...

Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 5:13:01 AM

Try to find morse alphebet from google.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 6:05:41 AM

No, I deciphered it, but I don't know what to do with it... How should I plug it into the clock?

Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 6:09:14 AM

Look for a thing what you can click on the picture. After you click it there will pop up a window, which asks username and password. The code which you have decoded is the username and the password. Write it there properly and you will advance to next level.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 6:44:51 AM

Thanks, I knew about the object, and I didn't know how to enter it. Thanks!

Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 8:00:53 AM

DANG I CAN't EVEN GET PAST LEVEL 6!!!!!

All I know is the ascci and the ALT, which is used for code.....

Well here hints for 1-5

1, explains it..

2, change the URL

3, stop being so negative........something to do with URL

4, code under the light

5, you got the song, now why don't we cut it?

That's another whippersnapper belted by the feared AncientOne!

Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 11:16:27 PM

6, The password is written in ascii code . You have to find it and then encrypt it. ALT is the hint at encrypting it. The code is hidden somewhere, it's in numbers e.g. 563 463 366 644.

18, HARD!!!! I'm been stuck on this ages, but what's the hurry. Hehee. After all it's interesting level. 8o

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Sunday, March 13, 2005 at 11:20:35 AM

Not working, It still ain't letting me through.

Sunday, March 13, 2005 at 1:12:10 PM

What you're trying to type in? I can check if it's right.

---Major Spoiler---(mayby)
There are one thing you can click on the picture, which will pop up a box, which asks for username and password. If you keep your mouse over this thing. You will see that there read "http://deathball.net/notpron/sdrawkcab". When you mirror sdrawkcab, you get backwards.

<!--ascii is an alternative--> reads in source. Which hints that ASCII codes helps you get the answer.

You have to seach the page well to find the hidden numbers. Stop thinking negatively they won't be in the picture. Try click and highlight everything you can.

When you find the numbers, you use ASCII code to make sense of it.

When youre typing the username and the password, notice it says "anagram". So you need to move some letters little bit.

The username and the password are real english words.

Btw have you tried change nothing to all or everything? Or hesgotitall to hesgotnothing? :P Funny little easter eggs.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

Sunday, March 13, 2005 at 2:10:48 PM

I AM SO STUCK ON 5!!!

Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.

Sunday, March 13, 2005 at 7:10:09 PM

Level 5 hints.

In the picture:
- "Big Bad Voodoo Daddy" who(or what) it is? Google is your best friend.
- "eyes like an angel smiles like a devil" what does this mean? Is it connected to the BBVD(name above)?
- It will ask for username/password when you click the red button on the remote control.

- "What was the name of this song again?" Whos song? Different name mayby? There are two names for one song?
Is this the thing what the username/password is asking for?

Title says: "Light your torch..." Does this mean anything important?

About all passworded riddles:
- no spaces
- no capital letters
- You will never find a password/username written in an obvious way (its not 'love' or 'fail', no!)
- You will mostly get username and password both at the same time.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.
