Dammit, people! I have a difficult job at NASA, a National Guard company that I'm trying to prep for mobilization, a new son, and an RC Flying hobby that I'm trying to get back into. I have a bunch of games on my Playstation 2 that I have not touched for the last 3 months. I have a bunch of games on my Palm that I still rarely have time to play. I'd like to say that I don't have time to play any of the games on my Mac, but noooooooooooooo! I have one stupid game that I keep loading up at heinous hours of the night. I'm down to 4 hours of sleep a night because of you people!

Everyone needs to quit being so damn cool so I can finally dump this game and get back into the real world. This means you, Sluggy, Bolo, Tally Ho, TankGirl, -z-, Paisano, Racer, ReagentX, MonkeyMan, Hatter, Sizius(spelling?)....dang, there's a lot of you. I'll be typing names all day. AAAAAAAAH! I'm wasting even MORE time on you guys! Curse you all!

Anyway, this 'being jerks' business isnt a solution anyway. Hell, there are enough players out there that are jerks to me already and I just go under various aliases to avoid that and still retain the fun. I'm sure you'ld just end up doing the same.

The only real way is to get your ISP to completely screw you and give you horrendous lag. Thats the only thing that has slowly been removing the fun for me. I had a really good evening of games the other night on Bimp Lizkits Germany based server, and was playing for about the first time EVER, on a server with a ping of 50ms. The previous best was around the 180ms, but usually I have a hard time finding one thats < 250. The game is SO totally different without lag, its unbelievable. Quite a few players from the USA popped in for a short while and quickly scurried off with complaints of 'lag' but they were probably just experiencing what I have to take as 'normal conditions'.

I think KBC's idea of buying a PC has the most merit. That would certainly sour the experience! ;) -z- plays using a room full of PeeCees with a bucket of lag and yet is dedicated enough to make mods and run a website. That is almost clinically addicted.
