I would like to suggest two more events: Biathlon and Team Biathlon.

Biathlon:

Each team sponsors a single individual. This player must compete against the other players in both Indy Battlemode and Indy Scrum. First place in each event is worth 4 pts, 2nd=3, 3rd=2 and last=1pt. The winner is the person who gets the highest total points. The same player MUST compete in each event.

Team Biathlon:

The same as Biathlon, but each team sponsors a team of 2. The same two players must compete (subject to IP verification by the game host). The games remain the Indy version, but scores are totalled by teammates - in Battlemode this means final score is all that matters (unless some way of having 4 different teams on the board at once can be arranged or finding out the total number of kills per team in Indy is arranged).

I would vote against that bolo. The other regions are rearing to go, and it would be liable to run without us! I say you go in game, and collect emails of a few people who would be willing to do it who do not frequent the forums, mind make sure that they are good. I will also post in the other regions thredas, and see if there are any kind souls who would switch...

Btw, what about tank girl?

@Filbert: You are totally misjudging the whole situation. We are starting summer break all over the world right now. We have alot of names on our list but that will also change on Sunday evening after tryouts, people that don´t show will be taken off the team roster until they have time. I also agree with Bolo that we postpone this till after summer vacation. It would also give the teams time to get better organized.

Blackfoot, I clearly stated that I was not trying to steal anyone. I just know that we all find even games more interesting, and I was seeing if anyone was interested in donating a switch. There was nothing stealishy about it.

Just found out from The Professor - Leopard is on vacation. That's why he's not responding. I think all the teams should have a captain and a co-captain for situations like this. I would like to still hold these events, they sound like fun.

Here's my suggestion:
Indy BM - Saturday, August 14, 1pm Pacific time; 2 weeks from now.

Each team submit their teams - 2 players, and 2 alternates in one week. Submit them to SteAlth as normal - if he really wants nothing more to do with it he and I will work that out.

On Saturday, we will need two hosted servers - Dash and Leopard, can you make 1 each available? To keep things even you will not be able to play on your own server.

If a team does not show up, or fails to field a full team, their scores will reflect it.

Each team should pick a co-captain, who will have full authority when the captain's not available.

Proposed Schedule:
Indy BM - August 14
Indy Scrum - August 28
Team BM - September 11
Team Scrum - September 25

All times 1pm Pacific.

Each team should have their team roster and alternates in by the week before an event.

Master TMO

Alternates are unknown.

But schedule may change the list if one of us knows we can't make it.

Thanks for steping up TMO, I really appriciate that. Leopard being on vacation would explain a lot. Sorry about my harshness, I was just fustraited.

I think you're trying too hard to make everything perfect for too many people. You've got 4 teams signed up. Give them a schedule, and let them work it out themselves.

Whoever plays needs to be an official member of the team. Shouldn't be a big problem - just add him to the roster. ;)
