Page : <1> :

I am not sure if I should mention this on a public forum, but here goes. I have been working away from Edinburgh for the last few weeks. This means the girlfriend has been on her own for 4 nights a week. I phone her regularly and everything but she still says she gets lonely. Anyway, I get back this weekend and she seems happier than normal and has a spring in her step. Nothing too obvious but just more happy. I start off asking if everything is okay and she laughs that everything is great. After a few drinks I joke that she is so happy because she is seeing another man. This is when the truth come out. Apparently it started Tuesday when it was a hot evening and she was sat in the garden in a little tee-shirt and shirt trying to cool down. She was sat on the swinging bench when the guy next door stuck his head over the fence and started chatting. They were chatting away for an hour or so until the wooden bench became uncomfortable and she went inside. The next night they did the same and then on the Thursday it happened apparently. She didn't plan it or anything, the urge just came upon her.

She has bought scatter cushions for the garden bench!

I am not sure we can stay together after this revelation.

Do what makes you happy, If you can be happy in life with this person with the memory of this, then work it out,

Kick the b... Out and find someone better.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.

^ I was thinking the same thing, actually. That, or invite another female into the situation :P Always has promise. I my opinion, though, it is never a defnite leave until you have to make a song like (click "Mad" when you get there, the opening one is sad) this .

Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.

Just the title of your thread shows you don't care for her very much; IMO a gentleman don't 'ditch the girlfriend'.

Also, how long have you been with her? 4 months? A year?

But aye, always heartbreaking. Especially her smile. Women are always more attractive when double-timing - and men too btw %) - that's the crazy thing.

Also do you know the guy?

Good luck.

As I had up for a short time earlier; whilst the original joke made me giggle... The number of people who can't read is making me pee myself...

And as I had up earlier; you got me on that one bloop. However, I'd still nail the best friend, that's just sound relationship advice.
