Just saw Chronicles of Narnia The Lion, Witch an Wardrobe and it blew my mind. Usually critics will be more specific and tell what they liked/didn't like, but I loved every second. I've been disappoined before when a favorite book of mine is made into a movie (Stephen King's The Stand ), but this wasn't like that at all. The scenes in the movie were better than I had imagined them in my head while reading the book as a kid. Two fins way up!

I just watched "Stay," and it is probably my favorite movie of this year (so far, anyway). The plot was creative and captivating, and the surprise ending was hinted at consistently throughout the film, but still kept fresh for the last few minutes. The acting was excellent (never heard of Ryan Gosling before, but he was superb in this role), and the writing was sophisticated but still very believable. I think my favorite aspect, though, would have to be the cinematography and editing. The surreal aura of the film was pulled off perfectly, not only with lighting and camera angles, but with subtle costuming and set design as well. The transitions in this movie were the most creative I have seen to date. I was impressed with Marc Forster when I saw "Finding Neverland" but this movie made him my hero. XD

The only problem with the movie is that it is pretty confusing and you'll want to see it more than once, especially after you get to the ending. Excellent cerebral suspense film, though, and I highly reccomend it.

I saw "V for Vendetta." Excellant movie. Great plot, great acting, great action. The symbolism of the entire movie was fascinating. Hard to describe in words but you should definately see it!

Just saw Kung Fu Hustle again, I had forgotten how much I love that movie. This movie is super funny, has great special effects, killer Kung Fu, and has a high wierdness factor. If you watch the DVD, make sure you put it on the english language mode, so there's no subtitles.

Just watched "The Brothers Grimm".......The idea was there....well made.....Good lighting and CGI.....but some of the humour was a bit cheap.....and story line very predictable.....

V for Vendetta is very good.
ATL is an ok movie.
Exorcism of Emily Rose was about the most boring movie I have ever seen. Damn the commericals for making it look so good.

I saw "Cheaper By the Dozen 2". Why the heck did they even try to make another sequel? The plot was based around the Baker Family (rep'ing the Cheaper by the Dozen Family) and their "contest" against another family whose dad was a high school classmate of Mr. Bakers. Long story short, the plot was bogus, the characters were bogus and the sequel was a complete failure in my opinion.

I'm being generous by giving a full smiley..to bad there aren't half-smileys

V for Vendetta is one of the best movies I ve seen in my entire life!
Like Banana said, this movie is undescribable in a few words and maybe the closest word is fascinating. All the idea's are perfect, the text of Vendetta is perfect, so clever, overpowering.
Great acting, very great story.
I will always remember what he said about "Who" in the beginning, maybe not exacly but I will keep the meaning in my mind. Also "ideals are bulletproof" when he takes of his vest and dies.
:) :) :) :).. I d like to add more but since it only goes to 4 I ll add one last :)

You MUST see this film!
EDIT: Go read rabbans R for Resistance

Be hittin' the video store this weekend me thinks, gotta check a few of these out.
Fav movie of all time, probably Unforgiven w Clint Eastwood, kind of wait for something the whole time, then right at the end he goes nuts, great background shots. Hackman, Freeman and Richard Harris, great supporting roles. :) :) :)

^ Speaking of going nuts at end, I just saw History of Violence starring Vigo Mortinsonspelling . He's a Joe Blow diner owner with a secret past life as a phsyco mob guy. When the old gang comes looking for him, he lays the smack down. HARD! Lots of good action, and a couple very naghty sex scenes. Not for the kiddies. Good movie, held my attention the whole time.
