He's not one to miss a good competition.
Any reason to be more organized with whose servers are for whose games?
I just kinda imagine a mad scramble at 6:55pm tomorrow.
Or should I say a mad scrumble...

So... Who is hosting for who? I have a seperate machine available to host over my cable connection in Iowa. I have the OutOfBounds Script (thx sluggy & RX). There would probably be some lag for somebody however, so I should be considered last for hosting.

Are we covered for the hosting?

REAL-LIFE PSL NEWBIE GUIDE:
IMPORTANT:
- THE FIRST GAMES ALWAYS ARE A MESS TO HOST AND TO GATHER PLAYERS. EXPECT DELAYS AND BE VERY VERY VERY PATIENT.
- IT USUALLY TAKES 15 MINUTES TO SORT THINGS OUT.

1- SERVERS:
- SERVERS ARE RANDOM. IF YOU CAN HOST PUT A SERVER UP, AND WE'LL LOVE YOU. INCLUDE IN TITLE THE TEAM NAMES, RE. WOLFPACK vs SHEEPS..
- SOMETIMES A SERVER IS LAGGY, CAUSING THE PLAYERS TO MIGRATE TO A NEW HOST UNTIL MOST PLAYERS ARE HAPPY.
- WE NEED 4 SERVERS. HOSTS BE THERE A BIT EARLIER, 5- 10 MINUTES BEFORE 7PDT PLEASE.
- NO DOUBLE HOST. IF A SERVER EXIST, DO NOT CREATE A NEW ONE.

2- PASSWORD:
- CHECK YOUR EMAILS FOR PASSWORD. USUALLY TALLY HO ONLY EMAILS THE CAPTAINS. CAPTAINS MUST EMAIL THEIR OWN TEAMS.
- PASSWORD IS CHARACTER SPECIFIC, IF PW IS <Shorn>, <SHORN> or <shorn> WON'T WORK.

3- GAME ON:
- GAME STARTS WHEN THE 2 CAPTAINS AGREE. IT IS 2 GAMES OF 15 MINUTES EACH.
- 4X4 IS THE FORMAT. IF A TEAM CAN ONLY FIELD 3 PLAYERS, TOO BAD.
- THE FAIR WAY TO START THE GAME : SCORE IS 0-0, THE SCRUM HOLDER DIVES, THEN 'GAME ON'
- ONCE A GAME IS STARTED STAY OUT IF YOU DON'T PLAY. DO NOT JOIN BACK, NO SPECTATOR ALLOWED.
- IN CASE OF GAME CRASH, CAPTAINS DECIDE WHAT'S NEXT. IN CASE OF DISAGREEMENT, TALLY-HAMMER-HO ENFORCES HIS DECISION.

I feel like BC. Not real sure I'll have the best connections for everyone. Also not sure who I would make a server for.

If there are already game servers up, would it help if those with the ability to host threw a backup server out there? Could just name it something like KBC psycho backup or BC psycho backup . If Society needs to jump ship, we'd go to BC's server & if Wolfpack needs one they would go to mine. You'd be able to see the name of who's hosting and stay away from serving your own team.

Server names:

Instead of game-specific server names, I would suggest each hoster to name their server by their own initials like:

PsychoScrum (Rx)
PsychoScrum (dash)
PsychoScrum (KBC)

Etc.

This way we know who is hosting and we can have the most flexibility if we need to jump around between servers.

PS7 (Rx) WFP v BSP
PS7 (Dash) CRB v KLM

Etc, not necessarily in that order, but fill in as you show up.
