- All AI's will use the same tank stats; all you can customize is the AI. The AI settings can contain any value that will not crash the program.
- AI's will be submitted by email, and will be confidential. I will erase them from my computer after each Challenge.
- Each Challenge will consist of at least 10 games, to minimize randomness and luck.
- Individual and total scores will be posted.
- Winner will be determined by Average Points Scored per Game.

Okay, from this point on I'll let the participants control the direction. If you are interested in continuing these challenges, let me know, and pick some formats for us to do. The only rule I'm going to set down is that all participants must be using the same Tank specs. Custom Tanks are alright, but everybody needs to be the same.

If no one is interested in continuing, then I thank you all for your participation so far, and it's been great fun! Hopefully what we've learned and accomplished here will make for better bots in the servers.

Oh, and also take note of the Team Bot Challenges thread I've opened in case you're interested in that. I've created it, but am not sure if there's any interest. So if no one responds I'll just let it sink into obscurity.

No hard feelings though, but I did say I wished to use my light tank
as it was my most heavily tested and accomplished tank. My heavy
(if it was the one used from the prior challenges, was a truly dreadful job

I just had it in my head that everybody was using Heavies, and I wasn't going to let anything trivial like facts get in the way of that. :S

I modified your settings to put you in a light and have started it running again. I hope it works out better this way!

Sorry Splam. :( When I came up with this challenge I was REALLY hoping to see a variety of tank types slugging it out, but while building my AIs I found that, for bots, the Heavy is King. Even my best Light and Medium AIs couldn't keep up with my mid-range Heavies, much less the really good ones.

Ummm.... I don't appear to be able to edit my starting post anymore to put up the scores... Unfortunate side effect of the new Admin changes I'm guessing...

Ah well. I guess heavy work is in order! Thanks for re-running this man! :)

Go take a look at the Team Challenge server I've got running right now between me and DJ Wings. 1 Heavy & 2 Lights on each team. His Heavy is much better than mine, but my Lights are much better than his. Pretty even match so far. My lights won the first game for me, but so far the second one has been totally even. Will have to see how it plays out over the long term - that first win could have just been a luck result.
