Page : 1 : <2>

Hey all,

Just thought I would post this as I saw yet another post by someone needing a reg code because their does 'not work anymore'.

I thought I would take this time to inform the community that anyone claiming this is full of shit. DO NOT give them a reg code. They are either scammers or pirates. If they claim to have lost it, they are lying. If they purchased it, they can contact the place where they bought it and get it back. If the place where they bought the code has deactivated the code, it is because the code is being abused (i.e. Priated)..if they give you a sob story.

Buying a copy for someone else is ok.. Giving it away is not. It is piracy. If you are going to pirate the game, please take your lameness somewhere else and DO NOT post here about it.

If my language in the other thread had offended anybody.. I apologize.

Spark, yes that is pirating. Legally, you can not make copies and sell the copies of software.

As for locking this, I don't mind that it gets bumped up, since this very issue came up in a game the other night. Note one of the lessons of this thread: if you bought a registration code, and you lost it, the company you bought it from will have records of your purchase, and can resend it to you. You just have to ask.

BUMPITY

Great news laggy, seeing as my hard drive may need a complete wipe soon...

This is why you should buy it from GarageGames... When you purchase it from them, all of your purchases are stored on a special page that you can access after logging in. There your registration code for any games you may have bought is easily accesible.

Good point PIP. 'My Garage ' is so useful.

Another good idea would be to print out the email that has your registration numbers, then you will have a hard copy if you need it.
