someone is putting their "stained glass" filter to work in photoshop eh? (Thinner lines, screen em back to a dark grey, then gaussian blur the entire background a few points... Imply the stained glass, don't hit viewers over the head with it... This will also help to get your name with the busy font to stand out from the background... Net result, you get all of the same effects but cleaner and more legible.)

THERE, how is that for unsolicited advice?

Well, TG, there's a first time for everything. XD

Mine stinks, made with simple produsts like paint, I have a fighter from FF, and a bunch of nintendo charaters with my skating ollie pic. Here it is.

The fighter is customized a little to have my hat and other things that I wear.

Could you guys help me improve on my sig? XD

I think this is more my speed.

I really like the feel of it... Don't change it... Kinda gritty and greasy, but a bit high tech in a goth kinda way.... (mouthfull).... But I just don't get what the mechanics are of the tank?.. I dont really see what it is....

Overall though rabby... Incredibly cool...

Sample the bluish white highlight color that accents the text in your name, use that color and put a very VERY smallish and soft blue-white glow around your tank silhouetting the tank outline a bit, but also complimenting the glints of bluish white light on the letters... So it will separate the tank and add to the ambience in a good way.........}

Just a thought...... However... I'm a bit tipsy......

I deleted the one you just looked at TG.

Top. I like the ambiguity. It reads as many things. A tank, mechanical equipment, futuristic hardware, or just texture.

Neither one.... As much as I like the shiny look of the tank itself, I think you should get rid of the tank..... In my humble opinion, the tank doesn't work. It is a cool looking tank, but lets face it, your text treatment and the overlaying tank are competing and the tank looks like a mistake (mistank:). The glow doesn't work because there appears to be alpha information on the tank layer so the glow does not appear to follow the outline of the tank...

Brainstorming thought.....How about a top-down view of a tiny tank that is using one of the letters as a road? Like maybe you see the tank driving on a curve on a "B"..... Or maybe two tiny tanks, each of them caught in the moment of firing at each other from across the "Map" suddenly you get to include glints of fire on your letters....
just a few thoughts.... Tell me to shut my trap whenever you want..... I promise I will shut up immediately....

I knew the idea would be too cute... But that is why it is called brainstorming... (no good ideas, no bad ideas, just many ideas).

I REALLY like the silhouette approach... Excellent... Still problematic, but totally useable.... (another thought... You should left justify the tank more so the barrel does not bleed off the right... Just my opinion).

The problem with most of these sigs is there generic-ness. For example, Revel and Tipps are very cool, but if you changed which belonged to whom, would anyone notice? They don't say much about their authors.

Its more cool to actually MAKE the sig yourself...not do it on a website.
