Just got word that this has been confirmed. Serial Killa and Lauryn (SA) are the same person. This jerk has posted that his family died and posed as a girl for months on this forum and in the game. Judging from his posts he's not only a liar but a total perv. See any number of his previous forum posts for verification. Serial Killa/Lauryn is nothing more than a scumbag.

A recommendation to you idiot, even though you post under different names your IP is still the same so we know that you are both and cannot be denied. This buttholes' bullcrap posts about his family is undboubtedly the reason why the whole Lonewolf skepticism began.

Now he is playing as hydra and demonatrix and acting like people are giving him crap when he is in fact the biggest piece of excrement on Think Tanks.

@All, I've been online with SK many times and have never seen him Camp excessively, BM obsessively in scrum, cliff crawl / dive deliberately, use obscene language, or cause any problems for that matter. He's an honorable scrummer, and exceptional Battlemoder. He's always been a good all around guy and fun to play with! People... Don't forget now! This SerialKilla we're talking about here! I've held this guy in the same regards as Fleabiscuit, Prey, Azezel, etc. Etc.!

You're the only one I see being a jerk in this thread. So what if he has aliases, SO DO YOU! SO DO 70% OF EVERYONE WHO PLAYS THIS GAME!!! How do you know these aliases of his aren't his way of reaching out to people for help? What if Lauryn is the name of his deceased wife or daughter? Who are you to cast judgment on others like that! And so what if he has aliases, THAT DOESN'T NECESSARILY MEAN HE LIED ABOUT HIS FAMILY DYING!!! Sure, if he did, that's one sick ass joke... But what the hell man... Without knowing for sure, we should approach it in the same way we approach Mrs. Loanwolfs thread!

BTW what TG described is known as a "sticky" IP. Most cable/dsl users have this including me.

The first sentence cracks me up. What does an alias have to do with somebody reaching out for help? These two things have absolutely no common ground. LOL. I have no clue about the 2nd sentence and won't comment on it but it gives me the creeps as it does others. The problem with the last sentence is that he/she quit on his/her scrum team in the middle of a match and also quit his BM team and tried to rejoin as another alias. That's the problem with the aliases he/she uses.

Do me a favor and go back and look at all the conversations this dude/chick has had with himself on this forum. Makes a thread in one alias and responds to his/her own posts, repeatedly mind you. Why in the world would you have a conversation on a forum with yourself? I find it very odd and would have trouble believing anything said person offers up to the rest of us. Nobody else thinks it's odd that this dude/chick would battle with TG for a long time about women's rights and sexism on this forum under the lauryn alias? I don't even want to get into the what he/she finds sexy in a man posts that he/she made. You're better off offering sympathy to Lonewolf, which seems to be a much more believable story, than this confused individuals self-imposed quandry.

I know why I don't care for this individual, the league buffoonery he pulled, and could care less about his/her aliases. As the initial post stated, "He's Busted."

This is really confusing I dont know if its a he or a she or mabye both but anyways I think if Sk is and or was lying SK should come clean and if not he/she/it? Should provide some proof that can set this mystery to rest. Just my thoughts so yeah.....

This forum is depressing. Really depressing. As soon as I read the first post I knew who I would side with. I ask anybody who thinks of Busted as a "hero" to please reread that post. You just don't say that kind of stuff. You don't call a civil, smart, respected person a piece of excretement. I don't care if serialkilla is lying, or if he's using aliases and won't own up to it. Read SteAlth's post. You guys all were 100% behind SK before this, right? You might call SK a liar. You might call him an attention-seeking cheater. But you don't call someone like him a butthole or a piece of shit under any circumstances.

I would be the first to say that -z-'s evidence points to a connection between SK and lauryn. But why are people jumping to the conclusion that SK is a bad person? Because of some bitter idiot who calls himself "Busted" and goes around "tattling" on people? There are numerous other possible explanations, but some people immediately start thinking, "SK must be lauryn, so SK must be an evil dirty liar, so SK must be lying about family's death, so SK must not only be a liar and a bad person but also a sick-minded lunatic." It's perfectly likely that serialkilla's family did die in exactly the way he said, and he's a good person, and that he's just in trouble. I would ask how many of you, especially ROGUE, have had your wife and young daughter tragically killed recently. ROGUE, do you really have the experience to say what is reaching out and what isn't? What is a possible reaction to that kind of grief and what isn't?

Maybe SK and lauryn are the same person. In which case, SK has been lying and owes us an apology. But from what little I know of serialkilla, he seems like a good and honest person. If there is no trust in the world, no faith, what would the world be like? I believe that there is a legimate explanation, that serialkilla is a good person, and I will stand by that belief until I am proven wrong much more conclusively than this.

If we have no faith in people online, people like serialkilla, how can we have faith in anyone? How can we have faith in the people we support as moderators? How can we, at that point, even have faith in -z-? We believe him, I believe him, all the evidence is toward it, but when you come down to it, even -z- could be lying. Just because he created these forums, just because he's done so much, doesn't mean he couldn't occasionally lie and get away with it. It all comes down to trust.

I apologize, -z-, if I implicated you in any way, I specifically used you as an example because you are probably the most widely trusted individual on these forums.

@ -Z- I have 2 completely different IPs because I log in at work to this site the most. I cant play from work because I´m not allowed to install the game on the company PC but I´m in the forums quite alot at work.

@ All Who cares, lets stop all this arguing and get back to playing.

@Asterisk: Yes indeed I could be lying. That is why I created a special page on this site with a personalised database query so that SK could look at all the logs from which I cut and pasted matching IP records from the last month. The match ups go back a lot further than that. Since e-mailing a link to that page to SK, there has been no reply here or by email.

I agree that this is a complicated issue for the community.

On the one hand,

Who cares about SK using multiple personalities in the forum and in the game? The next thing you know we will all be busted for using aliases in the game right? The arguments against this thread are many and are fair, after all, this is just a game and a community forum, just a few forms of entertainment, not life threatening, not really THAT important, so why all the fuss?

But on the other hand,

SK/Lauryn chose to take an active role in both the game and the forums... He engaged us in friendship, he entrusted us with "private" information about his life, he invited us to be personally involved with his world in the game, in the forum, and (at least in my case) in email. Whether this is just a game or not, we attain certain levels of friendships in this community. However "virtual" these relationships are, they still cause us a variety of emotions, they are VALID relationships. To find out that we have been lied to, that our emotional responses to this person have been engineered by him is really sad. How would you feel if a "friend" of yours that you work with was "outed" and you found out he was an imposter. That he really did not live the experiences he shared with you, that he manipulated you and you opened up and shared your life stories with him... Only to find out that he lied to you about everything?

I can see why people are angry at SK. I am angry at him too, mostly because of my correspondence with Lauryn. In my case, remember that there are not many women around here, with Lauryn I thought I had found a person I could share this whole experience with. I tried to help her through her struggles being a woman in an all male community, I tried to help her with her frustrations....... Anyway, I for one feel very cheated. It is hard enough to open up and trust someone, especially in an online relationship, I allowed myself to open up to her and look what happened.

Nuff said.... Some of us got a bruise from this experience, those of you that didn't , don't diminish those of us that did. If you don't understand why people are bothered by this experience, that is good for you, but don't insult those of us that were taken on an emotional roller coaster with SK/Lauryn and are now offended at his deceit.

This thread needs to be locked. All the complaining by Busted and a few other people that posted here is irrelevant.

@TG- good thoughts. I seem to recall a moment where you mildly accused Lauryn of being a "boy" due to the aggressive remarks she/he made in the forums. Perhaps that was one of the first signs that something was up. Conversely, it bears mentioning again, that miss kitty claims to have met with Lauryn in person, and she was in fact a woman. Again, I'm not sure what to think about that, but there it is.

Whatever, I agree this needs to end one way or another. Either SK needs to furnish some undeniable proof of his innocence in this whole scenario, or the community will go on believing that we have been duped. Unfortunately for SK, that may be much easier said than done. It wouldn't be the first time the community has been fooled, but as far as I can recall, it was the most elaborate one to date.

On another side note, relating to what you said TG, I have heard all kinds of arguments by psychologists and the like that "online" or "virtual" friends are not friends at all. I personally disagree and take exception with this. Maybe it's not as real as flesh and blood friends that you hang out with and share one to one experiences with, but there is still an emotional tie with online friends that the psych community is not taking into account.

Anyway, I think this needs to be locked so it can fade away.

I had only left it open in case SK had something to add after seeing the relevant portion of the server logs himself, but seeming as there has been no response from SK, and that the thread really isnt going anywhere except downward, it probably is time to lock it.
