I've been gone for a REALLY long time and I was just wondering - has anyone heard from -z- sense I left? If not, it's quite odd that the admin of a major site would just go away like that. So, any updates?

If anyone's been wondering what's been keeping me away all this time... I'll tell you.

It was mostly work, but other games were keeping me away - namely the Sim City 4 modding community. The scripting language SC4 uses is completely different than TT, so I've lost all my TT modding ability. I even got into building design for SC4- but I had to relearn the whole process of 3d modelling because you're forced to use Gmax... The limits are insane.

Eat at Joe's. :)

I may try to make a comeback to this community, but without -z- we won't be seeing any major breakthroughs in the near future.

Oh my gosh! You have Sim City 4?! Oh I always wanted to get that game, but I got very discouraged by the horrible reviews about it being a waste of money. So I decided to stay with Sim City 3000. But hey! Sim City 3000 has a rating 0.4 higher than SC4 in GameSpot! XD

Best? That's very flattering; but it's wrong. :)

Ishbuu was much better, and he taught me just about everything I knew about scripting. I'll try not to go away again, but I have a habit of getting sidetracked by other things. I DO have TT installed on my shiney new computer though, so I'll try to get back into the modding game. (Although all my old scripts, skins, and objects are on the hard drive of my old 'puter, I didn't bother to back them up)

Oh, 'CompUComp', Sim City is an excellent game. Get Deluxe Edition so you can get the Rush Hour expansion as well. You'll really want to learn to use the Lot Editor, Plugin Manager, and Building Architect Tool (Just GMax with some special rendering and lighting features) to get the most fun out of it. Custom content is where it's at! :)

Well, you were the one that made most mods back then, and ish made almost none, (and your mods were cooler too)
I'm not flattering you so you come back, remember that!
Ishbuu is now busy in the lear to script series (wich I also made some bits of) and the survivor remake :)
Nate I think you might download dash's open sourced admin scrpt and my open-sourced (-not-fully-working) CTF script and then try to remember TSL :)

I really doubt that. If you own and manage a huge site like this, you don't just leave without telling anyone.

His second last post explained he had flu-like symptoms. Maybe something happened to him. There are other possibly fatal diseases that have flu-like symptoms.

Fatal? Wow, I guess that could've been the case :( you just don't think about these things in online games.. :[ I have one little trickle of hope though, maybe he's disguising as another moderator...another name... 8o I hope that's true... :S

I doubt he's died or anything. It's just a theory - and besides, Dan MacDonald posted a while after he left stating that he got an email from -z-. So unless something else got him after that, he's fine. (I hope nothing happened to him though!)

As far as -Z- goes yes last we knew he was fine ! Thats all we know though and no word since :[

He wouldn't leave without a note, he must have had an aciident and died.

No... He mailed Dan a while after disappearing, and also logged in to his account in zoggles.co.uk a while after disappearing too...

Well considering me and -z- are from the same country...it is the summer holidays here at the moment (well for another 4 weeks) so I doubt, if anytime you will see him it will be for the next month.
