Nope see u got it all wrong, 13s rule!! And so do penguins of course!!
I was listening when John Glenn went into space the first time. I know what class in school I was in when Kennedy was shot. I moved from California the year Disneyland opened. In junior high we were making some of the first skateboards, in shop class, with rollerskate wheels bolted on to a flat board. We went out at night to see if we could spot Sputnik going over. We used to go out to the town dump and shoot rats just before dark, try that now. My first computer was a Commodore 64. I'm old, but not as old as Grampa Sluggy.
Wow, your like ancient ot me!! No just kidding but thats pretty cool that u still play TT!!!
He a kid what he soppose to act like? ;)
Duffer's got me beat. My earliest memory is of John Kennedy Jr. Saluting as they wheeled the coffin past before the funeral.

^Sweet, it is the mean age for TT in this thread so far! :P
All the answers in this thread are 2-1/2 years old. Maybe you can talk LC50 into re-doing the charts.
Demographic survey..... How Old Are You?

OK, time for Stats! If I put you to sleep, it's not my fault, no one is making you read this. ;)
First, a simple frequency histogram:
Seems to be a bimodal distribution, with TT peaking in the 11-15 and 31-35 age brackets. 11-15 group is easy to explain... They are just a random set of the huge group of kids who play video games... This age bracket has lots of time on their hands. They should probably be outside more though, burning off some of those krispy cremes. The 31-35 groups... Hmmm, hypotheses abound here. Midlife crisis 30-somethings? Another idea--- when did the original tank combat games become really popular? Sometime in the late 70's-early 80's, when this age group was in the 11-15 age group themselves. A re-living of their childhood tank games?
The 21-25 age bracket is comparitively underrepresented... These people are probably out at the bar or wheverever looking for a mate.
The right side of the distribution is sloping off because of 2 reasons. For one, older people as a rule tend not to play video games as much, and two, they are getting ready for the big dirt nap and are too busy being nice to their gran-kids so they can get into heaven (as hypothesized by 'Ol Pappy Taters).
Now some univariate stats from SAS:
From these stats and the histogram, it's obvious that this dataset is non-normal. The results of the normality tests firmly (P = 0.01) reject the hypothesis that this dataset is normal. However, the dataset is not significantly skewed to the right or left (P > 0.20), nor is it significantly "peaked" (kurtotic) (0.20 > P > 0.10). Not a pretty picture.
That being said, the best summary stats are given in the lower part of the univariate stats: the median plus interquartile range. This is 29 (15-35). Thus, half of the TT players are above 29, half below. About half of the TT players are in the range of 15-35. 25% of TT players are younger than 15, 25% are older than 35.
The youngest reported age was 8, the oldest 52.

Now some univariate stats from SAS
Brings back nightmares from my job as a Agricultural Statistician for the USDA. Friggen horrible job with absolute a**holes to work with.
But SAS had some enjoyable points.
Only a few more months till my driver's license :)
I grew up to the sounds of the Beatles, elvis & motown (parents). Kids programs like the clangers, fingerbob, bagpuss, ivor the engine. Then programs like space 1999, blakes 7, dallas, loveboat, heart to heart, the sweeney, minder, kojack, Chips, moonlighting, the avengers, dukes of hazard, monty python, the goodies, faulty towers, starsky & hutch & bonanza....Ok im an old fart of 35 and my first computer was a ZX Spectrum 48k and my favorite game was manic miner.
Ah the wonderful times of living the life of a 16 year old - I originally registered on PTT in September 2004. :)
Btw, where are you England-born folks? Ahoy Matey!
Yea, lived in England for me' frst 6 years.
^^Its ok. We all have to get old sometimes unless we die or something. 35 isnt that old although you could be my father!!! :S
@OoFfa-SA-, I'm 39 and remember all those programs with great fondness, 35 or 39 is not all that old, We must be kids at heart to be here on PTT and TT, Your only as old as you feel, after saying that, hell, I feel old and crappy now!!!!!
EDIT- Just remembered I'm only 38 don't turn 39 til the 18th of this month, I am the man. I'm Peter Pan. 40's gonna really hurt though?
