I guess that I am an alternate, correct, as I am the 5th member of the team? That is fine, as I am new to the team I understand how things go...just let me know a day in advance or so if I am playing...
Also, are these set days, or are we going to try and organize a match with the opponents...

I wish I could play this season, but unfortunately I will be unable to commit. Arghhh.... Sorry for the late notice but it wasn't until last night that I realized my schedule was going to be too hectic.

@LilAlienD - as a former captain of Team Glamdring from last Psycho league, I had Dar on my team. Correspondence goes to Baba's email, which is in his profile. I wouldn't concern yourself. Baba is an upstanding guy, and wouldn't pry into any of your team's emails. But to make it easy, I ALWAYS used to use a subject line with something like "for Team Glamdring:" or "Glamdring update" or some such to be sure Baba knew it was for Dar. I suggest doing the same.

Rules and By-Laws Rough Draft rev 05.3
1.0) Team Composition: Each team shall be comprised of 6 players, any 4 of which may play in each match as decided on a team-to-team basis.
1.1) Forming a new Team: Any continuing player, who is not currently member of a team, may apply to the League Manager to form a new team no less than forty-eight hours prior to the first draft round. The application shall be posted to the League Forum and contain the Captain's name and the proposed Team name. If there is no serious objection by the existing teams and if it is possible to add a team without creating a serious conflict in the proposed schedule the League Manager shall approve the formation of the new team.
1.2) Disbanding a Team: An existing team may be disbanded up to forty-eight hours prior to the first draft round by unanimous vote of team members. The announcement to disband shall be posted to the League Forum no less than forty-eight hours prior to the first draft round.
2.0) Team Roster: The official team roster shall be maintained by the League Manager and shall be displayed prominently on the League Forum. Only persons on the official team roster at game-time are eligible to play in league games.
2.1) No pick-up players: It shall be the responsibility of the Team Captain to confirm with the League Manager that newly drafted players are entered into the official team roster at least 24 hours prior to the start of a match. If a team is fielded with a player who was not on the official roster at game time that team shall forfeit the game, without exception. Any team which fields unregistered players for both games of a match shall forfeit the match.
3.0) The Draft
3.1) The Draft Pool: The draft pool shall consist of all new players and free agents.
3.2) Free Agents: [VOID] At the beginning of the season the League Manager shall randomly choose from each continuing team with three or more players (including the captain) one player (excluding the team captain) who shall become a free agent and be placed in the draft. Any other member of the team may volunteer to take the place of the selected free agent. These players shall be combined with new players for the open draft.
3.3) Trades: [VOID] Once the draft pool and draft order has been finalized and posted Team Captains will be allowed 48 hours to freely trade players for another team's draft positions. Players may not be traded for players and draft positions may not be traded for draft positions. All such trades must be approved by the league manager and posted to the League forum prior to the first draft round. Any trades which are not so posted are null and void.
3.4) Draft Rounds: [VOID] There shall be one expansion round for new teams and any continuing team with fewer than three total remaining players, order of the first round of the draft shall be the new teams in random order followed by continuing teams in reverse order of finish position.
3.4.1) [VOID] No team may draft a player which it has placed in the draft pool until after completion of the second draft round.
3.5) Subsequent Draft Rounds: Subsequent rounds shall be such that the team that chose second in the first round shall choose first in the second round, the team that chose third in the first round choosing second in the second round and following in the previous order. In all subsequent rounds the team that chose second in the previous round shall choose first, etc. See below
Expansion draft round would look something like this, where A and B are new teams:
Initial Pick Order- A B C D E
Round 1: A B
Round 2: B A
Round 3: A B
Round 4: B A C D E
Round 5: E D C B A
3.6) Players: Any players not chosen in the initial draft shall be available for later draft by teams that lose players during the season.
3.6.1) Dropping Players mid Season: Any players dropped from a team after the season has begun shall be placed in the open draft and be available to any other team for a midseason draft. No team may redraft a player dropped from its own team.
4.0) Match: A match shall consist of two games.
A. Game Start: All Matches must begin within five minutes of the posted time with whatever players are active on the Match Server. It shall be the responsibility of Team Captains to guarantee that only players eligible and prepared to play in the current game enter the game server. All pre-game organization shall take place on individual Team Servers and not on the Match Server. Once the five minute limit has been reached either Team Captain may call Game On after which the server will be reset and Match will immediately begin.
4.1) No restarts. Once a game has begun must be played to conclusion and shall not be halted for lag, discussion or any other minor complications.
4.2) Technical Problems: If a technical problem shall end a match before its completion that game may either be rescheduled and replayed at a later time by agreement of both team captains and approval of the League Manager.
4.3) First Game Completed: If one game of a match is completed before a technical problem halts the game the match shall be considered complete and the score for the completed game shall constitute the score for the match.
4.4) Extra players on the field. A team with an extra player(s) on the field incurs a 2 point penalty per player for every 10 seconds the player(s) remain(s) on the field. If the player(s) remain(s) for more than one minute the offended team may appeal that the offending team forfeit the game.
5.0) Match Servers: All Match Servers shall run unmodified mission files of the appropriate games without additional scripts excepting: outOfBounds Script & Boot Script. All mission Servers shall be restricted to 8 players total occupancy, no exceptions.
5.0.1) outOfBounds Script: All league servers shall have an unmodified copy of the outOfBounds script installed and no others.
5.1) Game Map: The map for each match shall be randomly chosen from among the map set available for the current stage of the season: Lush, Spooky or Frantic. The same map shall be used for both games of the match.
6.0) Match Scoring
A. Match Play: Match play shall be scored as follows: at the end of each 15-minute game (not match), the team with the higher score shall be awarded two points and the team with the lower score shall be awarded no points. In the case of a tie, both teams shall be awarded one point. At the end of the match the points are totaled and forwarded to the League Score Keeper by the team captains. The Captains shall also submit to the League Score Keeper the name of the single player of both teams who through skill, daring & sportsmanship most contributed to the maintaining the quality of the match. Each team may should retain a record of actual points scores in each game in case of disputes.
The possible scores for a team at the end of a match are:
WW = 4 WT/TW = 3 WL/LW = 2 TT =
2 TL/LT = 1 LL = 0
Thus the possible match score posted to the League Score Keeper is any one of the following:
4-0 (0-4), 3-1(1-3), and 2-2.
7.0) Protests: All protests shall be posted to the league forum for discussion within four hours of the end of the game. The League Manager shall review all comments and post his decision within forty-eight hours of the end of the game and his judgment shall be final.
