Well I downloaded the whole 60Mb (either it was KB or MB, whichever one is bigger, im not a computer wiz :( ) extention pack yesterday.
And this morning I tried putting the contents in the places they belonged 'depending on what the title of the folder name is', as it said in the instuctions. I dont know if this has anything to do with my problem but my computer asked me if I was sure I wanted to replace the files already there, and of course I did.
So after that I tried going to the server Paridise Lost, and it still didnt load all the way.
Could you guys give me some better steps to follow because im lost as to what to do.

Isnt that mainly used for TGE? Well, it probablhy didnt contain the paradise lost.ter because if im correct [lol] it was created after the expansion pack, so its not included. Check these links

I can certainly give you a hand with this.

The first thing is there's a 2.0 expansion pack you should get. Forget about version 1. @ is the same only with more stuff.

Just so you're aware. New mods will still need the.ter files downloaded if they are not pre-installed.

The version thing is an art error. There is only 1 TT.

Nap on ur expansion pack 2.0, it has the TGE thing in it right? So you click on it and start modding right? So if I DL is and click on the TGE icon [if there is 1] and I can start modding? Curious....

I have a TGE with the expansion pack (version 1) already installed. Yes. I have not made one with version 2 yet as I have some additions to add to version 2.

So yes, if you download either TGE (Mac or Windows) you'll have TGE with Xpack version 1. You can just start modding.

Make sure you do some background on modding there are some things NOT to do. For example never use anything in the Demo path. Always use game. Probably the most common mistake.

Umm, I'm not a modder so can I still get all the newest mods with that link?

If you just want to get into the mods without waiting too much. Install the expansion pack (2 preferably), and then Reagent X's mod pack. You'll be good to go.

So I download two expation packs...
I have the Napalms extention, but I still need the ReagentX pack.
How do I put Napalms into my game? Do I have to take them out of the files and put them into ThinkTanks or do I need to leave them there in the files and then put them in.

For example:
1. I download Napalms Expantion Pack
2. I take the files out of Napalms expantion pack/skys
3. Then I replace the files already in TT with the ones I just downloaded

And I do that with everything in the extention pack Is this correct?

I assume you have not read the instructions that came with it.

If it says copy contents to......
copy what's inside to where it says they go

Copy contents to shapes means

Take all the files/folders in that "copy to shapes" folder and copy them to the shpase folder in TT.

Same basic concept for the remaining folders.

Make sure you back up TT before you change anything.

O yea I read it but it just wouldnt load any of the servers all the way such as Witches Valley, easy street, and so on

Some of them take a little longer on the first load, but they're worth it...

So if I just play it without the pack it'll take like 40 minutes, but if I get the pack it will take about 10 minutes?

I didn't know you were refering to my latest two mods. I thought you were refering to someone elses mod. 8o

These mods have some thing that have been created by me since the release of Expansion pack 2. But they also hvae things in the expansion pack. REagent's mod pack has the latest maps. With the exception of my witches Valley and the Easy street maps.

So you need to install in this order.

Mod_Pack
Witches Valley Pre-Download
