Woot!!!
[EDIT]
I had a nice artistic photo of my pregnant wife but then I thought about it and realized that it might not be appropriate for some of you. One would have to have a certain level of maturity to really appriciate it. So I took it down. If you'd like to see it, send me an e-mail. If I deem you worthy, I'll be happy to share it with you.

Congrats!!
Aloha Folks!!! I just got back from the Hospital and am proud to announce the birth of STEALTH JUNIOR!!! WOOT WOOT!!!
He's adorable :) I'll share some pictures later on, when I have a chance to sift thru them all and pick out which ones I'm gonna use.
The labor and delivery was something else. Started at 4:30 in the morning last Saturday, the 29th. This was 6 days after the due date. She woke up bleeding pretty heavily. We weren't sure what to make of it, so I took her to the Hospital. Her water broke while being examined. Problem was that she was not in Labor yet. There were no signs of Labor contractions and the cervix wasn't dilated (or enfaced for that matter) at all!
Since her water had broken, we had to educe labor. They put her on a Patocin (synthetic oxytocin, the hormone which causes contractions) drip around 6:30 AM. Around 7:00 we had a scare, the baby's heart rate suddenly dropped to 74. They were getting ready to do an emergency cesarean section but then it went back up to 135. They watched her carefully and the baby seemed to be doing okay, so they decided to give nature a shot.
She started having real intense and painful contractions around 11:00 and had them every 3 to 5 minutes from then on. Around 3:00 they started giving her some fentynol to take the edge off, but it only helped a little. At 6 O'clock, she had started to enface, but had not yet dilated. She was sealed tight which really concerned us because they won't give an epidural until she's at least 3 - 3 1/2 centimeters.
At 7 O'clock the nurse was checking her and managed to physically open up the cervix to 3 1/2 with her fingers. She said it was like stuck together and by just massaging it a bit, she was able to get it unstuck. She said she could literally feel it pop open.
At that point, we got to meet with Dr. Feel Good XD The anesthesiologist came in and gave her the epidural. The pain went away and she could finally relax a bit, but it was only short lived. After about 1/2 hour a team of 5 nurses come charging in. Turned out the baby's heart rate took another dive down to 75.
They managed to get his heart beat back up to 125, but we were still very concerned because the epidural had caused her contractions to slow down in frequency and intensity. After almost 2 hours, she had only dilated another half a centimeter, and the baby's heart rate was dipping slightly after each contraction.
This is a sign of Fetal Distress, one of the top 5 causes for cesarean section. Nature was being too hard on him, so they decided to take matters into their own hands. At 22:07, I watched with amazement as they pulled a little human being out of my wife's belly. He was tethered in blood and purple in color. They put him on Oxygen and wiped him up under a heated lamp. Took a minute for his lungs to start working on their own, but sure enough, they did.
I was really taken back by the way he responded to my voice. I could tell he recognized me right away. While he was on the table getting oxygen, he could here me praising his mother for doing such a great job and turned his head and reach his hands out in my direction. Of all those people and angels in that room, he could tell right away that I was his father.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.
