This is a TT_Resource for (Almost,) everything you'll ever need to use for ThinkTanks it has skins (ill make a ptch for skins... Not to many) scripts, Some mods to predownload, and LOTS of tutorials. (Some I made and some others made)

Get it here

Oh and also the readmes may not cover everything so if you have any questions post them here.

P.S I will make patches for it. (once I get some ideas as for what needs patching).

Rad I dont to want to get into a flame war but why dont you call it what it is scripts and stuff for TT - IMO its not a resource, then in the main thread also list what is included then people can clearly see what it is instead of wasting time downloading stuff they may not need.

I downloaded it and was very dissapointed at what was in there, there was nothing new or of benefit for me as al of this is available in the relavent threads on PTT and besides the zip had many errors when I inzipped the file, may be worth checking these finer points before you release things.

Its easy to get a bad name for releasing poor quality things but harder to get a good name for great quality things as people expect things to work first time every time especially the less computer litterate people and believe me the last thing you want is to have people complaining to you and needing support all the time.

This was useful to me, I found a couple things that I was having a hard time finding (the original special.cs and tankDb.cs).
I think this would be more useful to new players who don't have any scripts, maps, extra tanks, etc. They could get all this stuff in one download instead of having to hunt for it.

EDIT: Since there have been complaints about the errors in the zip file, organization, etc, I've reorganized and added to this resource. Changes that I've made:
1. Deleted all files with no extensions.
2. Reorganized everything.
3. Changed all.rtf files to.txt files (they were just readmes, they don't need to look nice).
4. Added some extra tanks.
5. Added a couple utilities.
6. Used a higher copression level, reducing the size to 48 mb.

You can download the resource with my changes here .

THANK YOU!!!

I hate when predownload and readme documents are rtf files! There is no need for them to be.

^ I did not say I did not like it, I just said it was of no use to me if I had known what was in it I would not have bothered - thats why I said make a list in the main post.

I was excited about getting it but there was nothing new in there thats all. And besides releaseing something that has errors is IMO a bad thing - nice one player36 for fixing it up. I would also say that the scripts in notepad form dont exactly rock my boat either perhaps they should be in cs files or something - then they would be easier to read and copy/paste, in notepad form the way you have them now could mean errors if someone not as PC literate as you uses them. Try using a better editor than notepad see this thread for what some of the TT people use and maybe include a few of the editors in your pack NOW THAT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA. I personally use Tribal IDE if you want a copy for your pack mail me.

Perhaps you should

Ask for a MOD....wait a few days...and it shall be given... If you have skype

The next time you attempt something like this.

Good on ya for having a go but my advice would be to check, double and then triple check before release, and that includes preview copies to others to test and comment as well, in my book its 100% or not at all.

About the scripts in notepad form. I left them that way for 2 reasons:
1. They actually view fine in wordpad or any other decent text editor. Notepad just sucks.
2. I thought it would be confusing if they were cs files. It seems like that would imply that they are seperate scripts which can be run on their own.

Good idea on including a good test/script editor, I'll put that in.

This is only good for people that are new to TT and want some cool stuff for it... Thats basicly why I made this.
