Why is he doing this? Is he adversely affecting play in other mods?

Yah I was just going to make a thread ranting about this....apparently I can't even FIND a "Warpath" in any of those servers.

He's got 23 servers there...holy crap :o And there are only bots in them too :'( This is stupid...

He probably click the Create button hundreds of times...

Warpath currently has 20 server's out there. How does that affect things?

Took my game like 2 minutes to show the servers.

Shouldn't cause any lag. Join one and you'll show up as being in all of them. It's a "Shadow" of the same server, not multiple servers. I think it has something to do with his router settings.

My Konfabulator SiteWatcher Ping Meter widget set to the master.garagegames.com showed a slight increase in ping since he put all those servers up.

I normally ping it at 90-95 ping, but when he put those servers up it went to 97-105. (for anyone who wants to ping the master server just set the widget to master.garagegames.com)

When he hosts those servers, my ping goes up to 500+ KBC. It isn't a one time coincidence, it has happened now 4 times consecutively. When I see his servers up, every single dot (the ones next to the servers) is red, and I don't even bother playing.

Hmm, doesn't do anything here. 30 ms for Dash Bash at the low end, 138 ms for ThinkTanks Server high end.

He only has one server up. It just shows up about 20 times. Don't know why that would cause some to have worse ping on ALL servers. My server (Society Board Room) shows up twice too. Anyone know how to get rid of the extra "shadow" server?

I don't know how he does it, but it really ruins my few chances to play ThinkTanks. If he is not doing it intentionally, then it isn't as bad, but it still really bugs me. I know I cannot tell him not to host a SINGLE server if that is all he is doing, that is a completely reasonable thing for anyone to do, but there must be a way to correct all the extra servers so that it doesn't ruin my experience.

Sounds like Baba has a similar problem. Shadow Server Anyone know how to fix this? Might be something comletely different. His server doesn't show up in the Gnome server twice, but Warpath's does. Looking at Max's screenie above I only see 1 of my servers, but 2 when I go online in the game.

When Warpath and I had a small disagreement the other day (all made up now) he said he was going to create lots of servers called "PEST is a pest", therefore I think he does it intentionally.

I just noticed this, and I hate to say it, but it appears when his 20 servers, shadows or otherwise, are up, some servers that are normally far up the list (decent ping) end up waaaaay on the bottom with high ping.

I hope someone can fix his problem, or he just stops trying to host, because it seems to be screwing up TT on my end at least. I'm sure I'm not the only one that is somehow affected.

I know my opinion doesn't count much, but it takes my list like... :thinks: Well, it hasn't really loaded yet, so I don't know... A long time. Yeah, we'll go wit dat!

For me it seems to take a very long time for the server list to appear ever since he started doing this.

Yeah, I've noticed the looong wait times for the servers to appear too. I had attributed it to my at times lousy connection at home, but now I know what's causing it. Arrrrgggh! Warpath, PLEASE take your servers down dude!

If he doesn't comply, do any of the admins, like DanMac know if anything can be done about it?? I'd hate to think we've run into a new way that jerks can ruin the game for us. *sigh*

It took me like 1 minute to load all the servers (normaly it takes about 30 seconds)
By that time the ts server was full

I just downloaded it, and I need to know the typical ping of master.garagegames.com so I can tell when it's lagging.

Here is a simple question, when I host 2 dedicated servers or more, I can only see one at a time yet I can see people joining them, problem here?
