Here's the one I have, just above my outer left ankle.

Mrs. Rabban has the complementary moon tattoo in the same style. A friend gave them to us. We did it as a bonding experience as a testament to our love (since wedding rings come off) and we often joke about adding a star to our son _{who wants one at 6yo} .

PS - I you look along the left edge of the photo, you'll see a bit of a scar on my leg from when I put my ankle in some bicycle spokes way back when. :S

A friend of mine showed me his tatoo he tattoed on his "self". He used it in conjunction w/ a pickup line he used at bars. After asking a woman their name, he'd tell them "My <*fill in the blank rhymes with lick*> has your name written on it!" It sure did! Down there alongside on it reads "YOUR NAME". Me like the tattoo looks nice me like %)
