It is finally official. The East Coast Convention is on for July 9th. It is going to be held in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.

This will be a great chance for the veteran players to get together and share some laughs. The ThinkTank community has some wonderful people in it so why not take the extra step and meet them in person.

If you are new to Think Tanks or have not been around that long, you should also consider going. The convention is guaranteed to draw some of the most talented player so you may be able to pick up some pointers.

At the convention, there will be a Local Area Network. This network will provide lag free game play for all that attend. In normal game play you can only see the tank smoking. Here you will also see the smoke coming out of your opponent’s ears. Sounds like fun to me.

In addition, the East Coast Convention and the West Coast Convention will meet up for some head-to-head game play. This will result in one side getting bragging rights over the other until next year. For a complete list of people attending the West coast convention you can go to the web site Reagent X has put together.

If you are planning on attending please bring your computer, cables, power strips and anything else you need to get hooked up. If you can bring extra equipment such as switches cables and other technical equipment or expertises then that would be greatly appreciated.

The cost to attend is 25.00 per person for the conference room plus your own room. We have negotiated a room price of 80.00 per night so be sure to mention that you are with the Think Tank convention.

Really, talk about dropping the ball with the images at both gatherings.

At least in Chicago, we has live video and a host of pics for people to gander at. Where are all these Mulitmedia types that play this game?

I already mentioned the situation with the pictures I took. :( My printer (which has slots for reading digital camera cards) won't recognize the card from my camera...I need some time to try and figure out what I did wrong when hooking up the printer after I came home from Pittsburgh. If I can't figure it out, I'll have to wait 2 weeks for my dad to return home from his Australia trip in order to upload the pictures. :'(

By some miracle of God I've found the USB cable for my camera %) I present more pictures!!

Belikin and Dazzle try to find the internet in the vast jungle which is their router. In other words, this is Testing Session 01 on Saturday morning.

Testing Session02: Attempts are made using our newly bought 16-port switch and Bel's router to branch wireless internet into my desktop...deemed a failure. :[ Dazzle and I pose for a picture with me wondering who's holding my camera...... XD

Dazzle has all the fun of being our lackey for the day while he tries to sort out some glitch in our Matrix. At this point we have 6 computers (4 laptops and 2 desktops) hooked up to each other in Dazzle's hotel room. Belikin is on the right and Player-36 and Monica are on the left.

It's Sunday morning and setup is underway...Lonewolf joins us finally for some computer goodness after he's hooked up our "control center" (the router and switch and power supply). Player--36 is opening TT while I glance through the viewfinder at the soon-to-be-mine donuts across the room. %)

Rabban finally decides to show up and we can get the party started XD Monica and Player-36 are already playing TT, Lonewolf sorts the raffle tickets (LOOK AT THAT HAIR! @_@), and Dazzle....why the hell is HE in this pic?! :o

Lonewolf and Rabban look at god-knows-what on Lone's PC... I think they saw Dazzle actually make a goal and are in shock ;) hehe

This is myself playing TT and kickin' butt and... Hey! I think I spot Lonewolf's imposter!!

With internet service at the hotel being horribly bad at best, we all sit and enjoy a good @$$-whoopin as we play on our own server.

And here's the group photo :) So now y'all can see that Lonewolf really does have "THE HAIR" %) I wonder why Belikin's all the way over there? Perhaps Dazzle has lost his mojo :o XD

There should be a law against people wearing their hair like Lonewolf does. I am not taking anything away from him, however a nice haircut would excentuate whatever beauty you possess. Your mullet does nothing for you....You should think of cutting and sell if for hair extensions.
