My instincts tell me it's that special time of year again.

I worked hard to keep my team together last two years and I'm certainly not starting over with new guys.. IF you want a redraft , count me out...

If Player made it to the final match last season , it would have been quite a different match. So It really is not so one sided.

Draft to improve your teams.

We all know the problems teams had with players showing up. Starting over with redraft is throwing a lot of work away.

I was giving advice. I dont even know if I will have anytime to play.

OF the teams from last year, I see very few of them reforming. I think the idea of keeping teams is great, as long as their are teams to play. I think BOP and this heavy team is it.

The problem is that leagues have different maps. Thats the point. Im sick of the standard lush maps. In fact I choose TS over TBM mostly because of the maps. If people dont want to build REAL SKILLS that let them play well on any map then they should train in indie bm with the bots on the standard maps. If all the bmers are in 1 server they wont have a choice anyway since there wont be anywhere else to go.

Therefore, if an all heavy team plays on a map where the spawn points are all over the place, they will get swarmed by the lites and get creamed. On the other hand, if an all heavy team has their spawn points close to the only ammo gate, then the lites will get creamed since it takes so much ammo to kill a heavy. To make each match fun and fair for all would require a redesign of most of the maps to accommodate an all heavy team. Its stupid to let the heavies or any other team to play on the same map all the time. I dont even like the home maps either. In fact id like a random or new map for every match to test skills and add more spark!!

Lets avoid all these issues by first nominating a commish (if supra and dash are stepping down) and then have the commish select captains and then a draft. Ive been in all three leagues and this is a TRIED AND PROVEN method to get close to balanced teams. The players that play bm currently are LOTS DIFFERENT than those playing last season so keeping any teams together might create problems. If BOP is sure to have all or almost all their players, depending on the player pool they might have a stacked team.

Id suggest we do a master list in a new thread so we can see who is in the draft pool before we make any decisions. We may not have enough to keep certain teams and there may not be enough heavies to make a team in the first place.
