This problem happens to me too. Many Mods don't load. :S
This has been mentioned many times. All this is that you are going to servers that have new terrains, shapes, or weapons.
All you need to do is go to this thread:
Read the instructions on how to installing the MOD PACK and you will get mostly every new terrain that is avaliable at this currect time. :)

EDIT: Oh and to note, some new terrains contain new shapes. To fix this problem, go to this thread:
This expantion pack from Napalm helps you cut down the download time for the new shapes. Read the instructions carefully and you'll be fine.
