Shouldn't that be "you're", not "your"?
Oops, I need to be more careful as well!
Shoulda...oops should have made that a little more clear......anyhoo!!!!!!!jusgrloz
Could not stand it had to write with another come back....
I am 42 and I could care less if I have crossed my t's and dotted my I's....I am not writing
a business letter or a resume....I am chatting with others that are like...short and sweet and to the
point...I've been through school and colleage and had babies and grandchildren.....and to me it
does not matter wether or not you spell correct...I'm thrilled you even wanted to talk to me at all
and I have many friends and lots of family....I write letters all the time...and if someone is
REALY reading and listening too...to...two... What you are trying to too two
say than the spelling means nothing.....jusgrl/oz

Welcome to the REAL "Think" Tanks game! In this game your abilities are based on your chat skills:
1: Proper spelling to a comrade will award you with a random weapon power-up.
2: Cryptic abbreviations or lousy spelling will cause your grip on the scrum to loosen.
3: Foul language will initiate air-drop Area Effect rounds upon you.
"lol" and "thx" are permitted as acceptable abbreviations. "fu" and "stfu" will cause your tank treads to fall off.
Scrum-diving is punishable by a kick-ban from the server. However, you can avoid this punishment if you type "I understand that scrum-diving is a heinous crime that should be punishable by death" before you hit the ground.
Oh yes, and typing in all caps WILL CAUSE YOUR VOLUME TO INCREASE 20X UNTIL YOU FINALLY HIT YOUR CAPS LOCK KEY!
:P
- Bomb…James Bomb
I'm a tanker. I'm already nearly deaf.
- Bomb…James Bomb
LOL.........good one JB..........
Now what about "tu tu"? Is it really used in a sentence or just what some unnamed tanker wears when running around TT..
Just some food for thought.
I dunno but I had one guy say..while playing scrum "look at me I'm dancing the ballet...."..jusgrl
Everyone knows that.
btw, its and it's are also common misspelled words.
Its house.
Not it's house. ----> that would be it is house.
OK TankGirl, you can get on your spelling high horse as soon as you learn to correctly spell Battlestar Galactica".
Sniper
LOL Sniper, I recently realized that I had misspelled it..... If I ONLY had a high horse, I always wanted one of those.
^ another grammar mistake is the elipsis
(...).
only 3 periods are needed. Not any more, not any less.
If I was TRYING to make an ellipsis (note the spelling :-) then I would have MADE an ellipsis.
;)
The real solution is 2 just go 1337 and use 2 for every variation of "to", "too", "two" :P
It's = It is.
Its = possession.
Oh god here we go again.......jusgrl
I am afraid this post is kind of redundant.. I mean Americans spell wrong anyways.. Everyone knows colour is not spelt color and honor is really NO honour.. Lol.. Just a little Canadian humour here. :)
Yes lets talk about possession... NO not my possession...thats another thread
Example:
Tally Ho's: something belonging to tally...(usually the scrum)
Tally Hos': a possession of tally and all his imposters alike
Tally's Ho: some chick that "works" for da ho
B
Do not short sight the rest of my employees, foo!
Bolo ever thought that you might be a good teacher? :)
You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.
This would make an English teacher faint:
(In an huge and commanding voice) "PEOPLE of PTT... Preeepareee tooo beeee aaammmaazzzeeddd..d...d....d....d"
Tally's Ho? Sounds more like a horse to me. :o
Looks the same too
Yup
Cloud
In this thread I'll play safe. I'll use only simple words. Dog. Cat. Horse. Tank.
/Going to wipe sweat from forehead.

Triv, I think TankGirl is more worried about american schoolkids whom are unable to use their native language coherently. These kids have no excuse [bush?] for their poor grammar and spelling. You have a better command of the english language than most middle school americans, triv. Don't give us the silent treatment because you are unsure of the exact words or phrases. ;)

Ok people of PTT.....
Our conversations here are based on the written word.... Please take that extra second before you click the Submit button and check your spelling....
And FWIW....
"Too, Two, and To" are all different words with different purposes.
"Too"
---> I want to play too.
---> You are too good.
---> My skirt is too short.
"Two"
---> I'll be back in two minutes.
---> We played two games.
---> You two are a good team.
"To"
---> I need to go to the store.
---> To have and to have not.
---> I want to watch TV tonight.
Get it? Good.
I'll be watching....... Don't mess up again or I will start posting your infractions.....
:)
Katherine
I need TO get a life
Maybe I will get TWO
Then I can have my cake and eat it TOO.
