Its a good start on a nice concept. Don't apply the pattern to the entire skin and add some details and you'll be onto something.

Yeah add rims and a logo or something.... Maybe a stop sign or a contruction sign or something, then it would look better

GIMP: FREE
Paint Shop Pro 10- $100
Photoshop CS2: $650

Aemorph go get this program, http://www.gimp.org/. I'ts free. Also go get ,proud_gaminggeeks light tank templete. Here http://supra.planetthinktanks2.com/archives/comm-thread.asp?thread=7140&forum=11 Save a copy of it to your desk top. Then use that copy to skin on. White out the words on the tank parts. Then pull up both the copy and the templete side by side. Use the copy then to skin on. When you open the copy Gimp will start. Play with the tools. Notice the highlighted area...This Gimp does so much more, but this is as far as I have learned, now my skins are not looking so much like paint or Filter apps. Good luck I hope this helps...

Very nice for a first tank, and like I said for GQ, it is better than my first tank, which I made nearly a year ago. You should add rims and put details as well. It kind of reminds me of one of my more recent tanks, the ShockBox™. But then, I'm using the $650 dollar Photoshop program. I highly recommend you to Gimp though. Great for new skinners to use.

I made it in like 10 secs but tell me what you think. I think its good.

Try to work with them a little bit longer. In about 10 seconds you can't really create great skin. But the idea of your skin is great. Keep working on it.

You don't have to let go of one rope before grabbing the other. But you'll have to let go of one if you want to swing forward.
