A banner is a picture that headlines, for example - the army, or can be used as a signature (like mine for example).

About the letter capitalization thing - the main reason is that it is not grammaticaly correct.

About your army, you may want to take a look at this thread . Also, if you want help on how to keep your army active - I can help you there as well - just say so if you would like my help.
