You are ight, you cannot edit terrains from other games.
Ok thanks racer. For the tutorial, I'll make it easyer so all I want to know is general controls. Such as how to raise low land, make land flat (then edit it), how to make it the default skin in TT.
I allready know:
F11 starts the editor
F6 start the terrain editor
Alt+c is camera mode
Any more that I might need to know whould be helpful.
Ok I'm figureing it out as I go I got a terrain (it's just a test). When I loded my game it said:
You do not have the correct version of the Torque Game Engine or the related art needed to connect to this server, please contact the server operator to obtain the latest version of this game. (Your terrain file doesn't match the version that is running on the server.)
Ok I didn't change the skin (hoping that it would be default in TT). That might be the problem. Also there was water (whitch I could delet) and a nole that I couldn't delet. Thanks for any help.

Yeah seriously it would be nice to know how to actually edit the TT terrains.
Ok all I need to know now is how to make it so your terrain uses the defaul lush terrain. Thanks.

Ok I'v been to Nathan's thread How to set up the torque demo to make TT levels! . I'v done everything he has said correctly. I want to edit -Z-'s The_Arena.ter, but I don't know how to put it in to TGE Demo so I can edit it. Is it not possible to edit terrain and all you can do is create new terrain starting from the FPS Example terrain? Also can someone make a tutorial on how to work the editor in the TGE Demo? Thanks.
