We will start the next season in mid-September. Games will be played Wednesday evenings at 7 pm PST.

This season will be 4 on 4. PSL is about playing with a large mass of talented friends on a regular basis. 3 on 3 is more exacting and is better for tourneys. Another benefit of 4 on 4 is it means we will need less hosters/servers each week. With a 4 on 4 season, we will need each team to have a roster of 6 players. If we assume a couple of players will drop or prove unreliable (shocking - I know!), then we could have 7 teams of 6. This would take 42 people, and leave 5 (or less) in the reserve pool.

Here is the plan so far: We will have all new teams this season. We have a lot of new players this season, so it will be good to distribute folks evenly. Also I think it is fun to mixt it up and get to know some new people. We will be needing a few experienced PSL vets to step up to be captains. NUTS! And I have already recruited 4 confirmed captains (most of whom will be captaining for the first time). We need 3 more volunteers for this job (see job description below*). Please e-mail me if you are interested.

Concerning maps: We plan for this season to have a different map each week. All teams will play on the same map on a given week. This will simplify setting up servers, and will give us more flexibility to share sevrers. We will need to select about 12-14 appropriate maps. NUTS! Will be playing a large role in map selection and in server settings.

1) participate in the draft
2) pull your team together by frequent e-mailing
3) reminding your team to show up each week
4) determine your weekly roster
5) bringing any issues to the attention of the other captains and the commissioners
6) communicate responsibly :)

Once we have our captains selected and confirmed, we can begin the draft.

Also, Racer and Big Show. Thanks for your efforts on the banner. I have heard nothing from FatLips, who I recall was thinking about "going all out" to make us a banner. So FatLips please let us know if you intend to pull through on this or not so we can let someone else jump in on this. Thanks!

Any more thoughts about having some games at 7:00pm. Some at 7:30pm?
Otherwise Dar, kj and Baba would have to have that * next to their names " unavailable for the first few weeks of the season"

^ The season will start on Sept. 20th. As long as you can check in every now and then you will be fine.

@Baba: can you clarify - are dar and kj entering as separate players this season? Can all 3 of you play simultaneously?

No issues with the start time, either way B)

10 or 10:30 is fine with me but keep in mind that Supra is correct in saying the leagues very rearly start on time so it is best to plan on the games lasting a bit longer than expected.
