At this point we are supposed to have the game played by Wednesday night. I proposed a time of Wed night at 10:00 EST. I think we can all be there, CADC may be on summer vacation.

My suggestion would be to have this Wed. If all plaeys are present we play, If not we'll do a 2 on 2, otherwise there will have to be a forfeit, which I certainly don't want to see. A 2 on 2 would be better that a forfiet.

Well, we will be there. It's up to the other team to either show up or assemble a team to show up. If nobody shows we will advance and the other team will go to the lower bracket. (That is, if there still is a team.)

Demolition, I really wish you wouldn't pull out. There has been plaenty of time to play the maps and formulate a team. I do have to admit Pai has been pretty removed from this thread, and the tournament. Also with CADC wither silent or on vacation doesn't help the matter.

Paisano should be replaced with jedirieb. Why, you ask? Because jedi is a frequent on PTT and TT and will look inside other teams matchup threads even if he;s not in either of the team.

All I have to say is this. I never got a chance to play a game on my original team, which made me P.O., which is why I'm volunteering to go on another team. Now, if I'm needed here, I'll undoubtably keep checking this thread here, so let me know.

We have had 2 weeks to play this game. If CADC is not present then he will either need to be replaced (which will be permanent) or go with a 2 on 2 structure, and add CADC back in the next round. Pai has been m.i.a in the threads but has been communicating via email. Pai is not the one questioned to be replaced. CADC is.

I suggest Pai and Demo find a solid replacement or go 2 on 2.

Jedirieb, I also suggest you formulate a team. As I stated I can still pulg a team in the top bracket. Captainfeatherfish has not even played a round yet due to a bye. You can get 2 team mates and play them.

Maybe you can hook up withj sniper and John S. Or find other playing that are willing to give it a shot.

^^ The only ones really interested in this are those on the teams now or in the reserve pool, and most of them are inactive as ^ said.

Now, looking at ^^ and several other posts, I suggest this team: Pai, Cadc, Jedi. Pai being active by e-mails and Cadc will be active again starting Friday makes them two ready. But, Demo doesn't really want to do this anymore (atleast that's the impression I got from his recent posts), so it would be well to replace him.

Now, to still any more argument on this, I suggest this: a time is set that the members of both teams with the members they have currently can make. If someone on the DemoCadcPai team can't make it, they either do a 2-2 or replace the person with me. Sound fair?

Because the deadline is tonight. I have no plans to extend a deadline for a game already spanning 2 weeks. There are teams waiting to play the winner of this match. The other team has already had Professor be replaced and now Cadc on vaca. If they can't feild a team, or find a replacement they will forfeit the game and move to the lower bracket.

The lower bracket is more flexible than this bracket as it relies on the upper bracket to move forward.

Current team:

Cadc--camping(why can't he just do this on TT?) I assume he will be reliable when he gets back
Paisano--not communicating well, but I'm assuming will show up
Demolition--A little ticked off at the way this has gone down, but still willing to play, and always reliable

Proposed solutions:

1) Replace Paisano with Jedireb - Paisano is not the problem. He hasn't been communicating very well, and has been a bit flighty in the past, but I believe he has always shown up for these things when he's supposed to.

2) Replace Cadc with someone (Jedireb) - this is only a problem if we must have a team of 3 this week, otherwise, cadc will be back. Napalm's team has agreed to do a 2 on 2 if necessary, so this doesn't seem to be a problem.

3) Play 2 on 2 this week, Cadc jumps back in next week - (see #2) this seems reasonable

4) Replace Demo with Jedireb - The reason to do this would be if Demo (me) does not want to play anymore. It is true that I have been disgruntled about how things have gone, but I am still willing to play, I am approved for the team already, and I am very reliable.

Sooooooo, I think we should just play 2 on 2 this week, and when cadc returns, everything will be fine. Jedireb, I think you're a fine player, and I would have no problem having you as a teammate, but I think it's handled.

It's been a comedy of errors... Sorry everyone. It all started when the Professor disappeared once the brackets were published. The sad thing is that we all agreed to postpone the tournament several weeks just so it could accomidate the prof's schedule thanks to tax season and all. So we waited until after the April 15th deadline...and then poof he disappears.

Then we get a solid replacement in Demolition but then CADC turns into super boyscout and goes camping for a looong time. I don't recall him mentioning this or else we would've played sooner!!!

In any event, this is a 3 on 3 tournament. Playing 2 on 2 is dumb.
Also dumb is fielding a team that's never played together against one of the best teams ever.
However, if demo and Jedi show up tonight then I'm game. WTF... It's only a game.

Before anyone else even posts, I don't even want to hear complaints about lag. Not once, or twice, but three times I asked if the other team wanted me to leave, and none of those times did anyone say they wanted me to leave, thus *maybe* getting rid of the lag. We know there was lag, but again no one asked me to leave, so complaints are useless.

@Everyone else:
Game 1 was a win for DemoCadcPai,
Game 2 was a win for NapNutsRogue,
I left at game 3 after Nuts left so they could have a 2 on 2 (and so they could have a "fair" match with "no lag"), therefore, I don't know Game 3's results.

Lol, you were pinging over 220. No offense but I didn't want to play the game in the first place when I heard it was you. Others on my team wanted to play, so I did. You have any idea at all how your connection affetcs the server? Do you know how it feels to place 3 clips into a smoking tank and then see them still waltz into the goal. I think I have played this game a few times to know when someone "lag" is affecting the me and/or the server. Truthfully I thought you guys did a good a job, Pai and demo played very well together. Would have been a great game without the lag. ( I am getting sick of saying that).

Then all hell broke loose. We began game 3, and (apparently) half of the green players thought it was over, but I didn't notice anything until it was 2-0 or 3-0 at least, and it looked like everyone was playing, but I will admit I wasn't paying close attention to that. So, I thought they were trying to pull a fast one on us when they asked for a restart, and I stated this, and in trying to sort out the ensuing mess, Nuts got pissed and left (also probably due to the lag he was complaining about). After a little debate, we decided to play 2 on 2, and this didn't last long, Paisano stopped trying at some point and then left, mentioning something about computer problems and Napalm and Rogue ran up the score. I thought we clearly deserved the loss, but now as I am typing this I am not so sure. I will leave it up to the powers that be to decide what should happen. This is my account of what happened to the best of my knowledge.

I'm not so sure what to do either. I'll be consulting some others as this is a decision that affects my team and shoud not be made soley by me.

True jedi did offer to leave, during the second game. The game was started, thought we should at least finish it. Hey if you believe the third game should not have been restarted after you ran up over 5 points because Nappy thought we were done then go for it. Yes,I was playing at first, then I just started responding to Nappy and trying to tell him that we were still playing. I asked for a restart others on your team said yes, I restarted than you said no. You want that win go for it.

I am not contesting the first 2 games at all, just bitching about the lag.

Nothing out of the ordinary, that's about my normal ping. And incase you don't know, most of the time that ping is fine (for some reason, it always seems to act up in a league match, with the exception of TBML).

No offense taken by that, but I did take offense when you complained in-game yet did nothing.

P.S. I'm quitting this league, precisely due to people like ^ that complain, yet when offered a solution, say nothing.

P.P.S. If it is decided to re-play the third match, I suggest waiting for Cadc to return, as I'm not putting up with ^ again.

Demo explained it well. We only played 2 full games of 3 on 3 then we had the blowup in game three when we were ahead 5-0. I believe Napalm when he said he thought it was over and was willing to restart game three but then nuts and demo had their disagreement. We tried to settle it with a 2 on 2 but I was having severe computer issues that made it impossible to play well. Even so, it didnt make sense to settle a 3 on 3 matter with a 2 on 2 game. I proposed we play one game to decide it all...a sudden death match. CADC is back tomorrow night.

What do you think?

P.s. Lag or not, Jedirieb was impressive with some of the goals he scored. Most of them were not aided by lag, just incredible leaps and jumps into the goal. Demo was solid too.

Just reply the third match once cadc gets here. Make it on Saturday, the day after he comes back from camping.

By the way, if you want to be technical about it all, a member of the NUTS, Napalm and Rogue team quit the third game (right or wrong) so that usually means forfeit by that team. They should go to the lower bracket and we move on at the top bracket.

I'm thinking out loud here, I'll tell ya when I'm done doing my thinking.

First off, I want to appologize to the league and the players for having such a disaster of a match. I should not have allowed it to go so far along before we even played the thing, I also probobaly should not have a substition clause.

I also want to appologize to Jedeireb, Your a good player and I dissapointed to hear you want out. It's true you do have some kind of a playing environment, similar to cadc, but I don't think that's going to win the game against a tight team.

Additionally I would like to appologize to Demolition, I played with Demo about a month back in Dash's server as was pretty much pleading with him to get involved in the tourney. Low and Behold, It's my very own team that shows him the tourneys are still a mess.

They win game one, We win game 2. Nap think they won both and starts to converse about the games saying they will move ahead. Lag did not desice the games, yak, yak, yak.
Rogue and NUTS berate Napalm for having his head in his rectum, I asked all to stop playing as I obviously screwed up big time.

To my suprise, after some explantion, Demo, Pai, and Jedreieb agree to restart the match cause nap was in dipshit land. During this time NuTS gett pissed about something and leaves.

I couldn't believe it. I didn't know what to think. At this point I was just concerned about getting the game played. The only solution I saw was to play it 2 on 2. I think that pissed of Jedeireb, I'm not too sure.

Demo and Pai agreed, Rogue's statement made me feel that he wanted to leave. (Kept eluding to work he had to do. Ya right, you bumb :)

During that game my team was up by a bit an then I see Pai leave the game and come back in.

Play stops for a moment. I think Pai saw the score and figured it was a lost cause. I think it was like 9-2 or something at that point.

Pai stated, we won take the games and left.
Apparenty Pai found nutty in another server. Maybe they should have decided mono-mono.

Today I see Demo doesn't feel good about just giving the games away, as I wouldn't either. Pai wants to replay the game/s.
Jedeireb starts the games, CADC finishes them. I don't think so. I see the same frustrations for nuts coming with CADC's return.

Ok I'm done thinking out loud.
I will continue when I get to work.

Hey tankster, sure let them have it. We all know your jedi's bud. No one contesting the first or second game. They also agreed to the restart except demo. When I left demo was still saying still saying no. I saw no agremment that he wanted to play a third else I would have stayed. I wasn't going to sit around around to play a game that wasn't any fun.

Seeing as it is me with the problem of high lantency and bad connections of individuals. I will pull out. Play on, have fun.

Ok I'm at work and here's my method of thinking.

Feel free to pee on it all you want.

The facts are:
We had a deadline to play 3 games and have a winning outcome, we failed to do that.

I understand Pai thinking in Nuts quit and they should move on, but they did agree to a 2 on 2 to finish the games. I also understand, just as I was unaware game 3 was a deciding game, he had performance problems and had to leave and re-enter. He also quit shortly after that.

We did not play 3 full games at the fault of both parties involved.
The deadline has expired.
That's the bottom line.
Both teams will move to the losers bracket.

It didn't take me long to come around, it's just that my initial reaction was "wait one second here" I thought we scored the first 3 goals legitimately, and then once it was 3-0 I thought you guys started blabbing and then wanted a restart.

I really don't want to drag this out any more than it has to. Obviously we are a bunch of alpha males and we all want to win. Both teams played well at times and both teams showed their ugly side at times, and that is unfortunate.

True, I don't feel good about giving the games away, if that is in fact what happened. I left last night thinking you guys won by beating us in the 2 on 2, and it wasn't until I was typing out how the whole thing went down that I realized how crazy it was.

I don't think it's fair to play a 1-game sudden death showdown with cadc. I think we should decide a result based on what happened last night, and my vote goes to you guys.
