Hi everyone. Sorry to put this here but I need everyones help about this situation. :[

Well I am confused on the port forwarding thing. I go to security and then to port forwarding. Which link do I press? The top one or the bottom one? My router is the MN:500 made from Microsoft. Also, what is a TCP and an UDP ?

Please, I don't really know how to speak scientific about this situation. %)

Here is a link to my router and the instructions to port forwarding, but I don't get how it works.

Port Forward Tutorial Then you go to forwarding>MN-500>then to port forwarding.

Ozzy (SF) might know about this.

Oh and can you guys make it step by step, because I am more confratable that way.

Thank you and have a great day!

Sent you an email about it but here are the words you wanted:

TCP: Abbreviation of Transmission Control Protocol, and pronounced as separate letters. TCP is one of the main protocols in TCP/IP networks. Whereas the IP protocol deals only with packets, TCP enables two hosts to establish a connection and exchange streams of data. TCP guarantees delivery of data and also guarantees that packets will be delivered in the same order in which they were sent.

UDP: User Datagram Protocol, a connectionless protocol that, like TCP, runs on top of IP networks. Unlike TCP/IP, UDP/IP provides very few error recovery services, offering instead a direct way to send and receive datagrams over an IP network. It's used primarily for broadcasting messages over a network.
