Ok - I see the top BMER list and the top scrummer list.

Here is something ive been interested in a while. With all of these quality players, who has the best guns? Let me elaborate:

Who hits what their shooting at the most consistently, makes amazing shots over and over, can snipe from a mile, or is wicked in close in tank to tank.....where your left wondering "how did they do that?"

The best players HIT what their shooting at. Here are a few people that I think are amazing shooters:

It seems like they are at a 90% hit rate or higher... (I know this is subjective)

Ill post more later, but the first players to hit my mind are: Triv, Shrike, and Willow....

Who comes to your mind? What players land most of their shots? Who gets the nod for best guns?

The same 3 you mentioned Supra ! I only hit about 70 % but I am working on that ! B)

^^ ;) and I think Shrike (sniper), Mr. Helper(close to slightly far away combat), and Maverick(close combat)

Close combat goes to dash, bolo, and au.. Snipers are supra, shrike, and Inf. Monkey. Don't forget about the mid distance people. These are people like lancer, The Prof, stan and Fatlips. I'll add more when I think of them, there is a ton more, but when I play these guys thats how I catagorize them.

Interesting topic Supra.... My props always go to people whom play with high ping such as Trivox. He always seems to score well. Playing with a delayed shooting action means that your shots must consistently hit your target(higher degree of accuracy), as the high ping tends to be a disadvantage when you play against quality players. I am not saying that people with low ping don't have to be as good as a shot, but it certainly is an advantage.

Other people whom are good shooters:- Stan, Supra, Au, Crow...

I have played a couple of games over the last couple of days since returning to playing TT over the last week, and while I have upmost respect for Shrike I think his shooting needs a little more fine tuning, and then he will a grasshopper (master) - definitely a well respected player.

Close Up: supra, Tank0r, wiz, Trivox, Shrike, Killer77, Rabban
Mid Range: NUTS!, willow, au, Trivox IBotI
Snipers: Shrike, wiz, InfiniteMonkey, Killer77, Rabban

Close up: My brother ;) (Maverick), some DEMOs (not you ozzy lol), and... Eh can't think of anything right now for this section.
Mid-range: Stan, willow, fatlips (not sure if I am correct).
Snipers: Bombo, COCK-EYED (very good at snipage), GODZILLA (saw him play and has very good range, and MUSCELS.

Addition:
Strategy: Zoltar, dash, Ozzy (saw him do many cool stunts), and LONEWOLF! :)

The sniper question is easy. It's willow. No doubt about it. There are a lot of players that snipe and are of no use to their team. Willow has mastered the art of sniping whilst combining it with team play. He's the only EXCLUSIVE sniper out there that I can say this about. There are other snipers but I don't want them on my team. Most of them are selfish players. That was an easy question supra.

Don't even get me started on smoke chasers. The more you wound before you croak the better your team will do. It's not all about one kill! And don't shoot me in the rump to get a kill! Tell them what's up TBM League people.

Up close and mid-range is way too hard to answer. If any of you can tell me that you've not had a bad day against most if not all of the above mentioned players you're simply not telling the truth. There are at least a minimum of 20 players that could dominate on any given day. That goes for all genres of TT IMHO.

I know I've had great days against all of these players. Does that make me the best long, short or medium shooter? Of course not. I think they're are a boatload of good players and could never pick the best or even categorize them. It's all relative. How's their ping that day? Is the team their on terrible? Do they even care to try that hard? <--I'm guilty of that one a lot. Hence my continual diving into enemy tanks. Or simply if supra is on the other team. I make a B-line for his ugly mug.

I think the only true answers could be as has been done in the above posts and that there is no definite answers. I think the players that people mention are those that give them personally the most trouble in accordance with their own playing style. A lot of people think au is the best BMer. I disagree. Based on style, I do very well against him. Don't get me wrong he's really good. On the other hand, I've been unable to lay a finger on NUTS! For months. Wait, that came out wrong. I mean I don't like NUTS! On my tank. Wait, I mean...son of a... Hehehe. Don't get your head inflated sparky. XD

That said, the willow answer was still easy. He's been sniping like that and playing the same style since I've watched him play over the previous two years. I've never seen him play otherwise. Have you? A good egg that willow.

I'd make a list of guys that are deadly accurate but I don't feel like typing in 25+ names.
