Forums Index >> Technical Support >> Deticated Servers Not Showing Up For Other People

Page : <1> :

Ok, I made a really neat racing mod. So I called up my friend and told him to get online to check it out. So, I fire up a deticated server and joined it. I told him the exact server name, and he says, "nope not there". So I had him refresh the list 5 or 6 times and still no luck. I had the server locked, and he said there wasn't any locked servers even online. This problem I think occurred back in June when I noticed that NOBODY had entered my server in a LONG time, and nobody ever did since late May. I have no idea what might be wrong. I've never tinkered around with the batch files or nothing of that sort. So, if you have any suggestions... I would really... Really.. Enjoy the help %).

Thanks.

How are you doing a dedicated server without messing with the batch files.
You will need to make a batch file for each map you want to host on a server.

Remember if you are using a router you need to port forward, this means opening ports on the router so that the server can be seen on the list. To find out how to port forward visit here when you open ports you need to open ports 28000 through to 28010 using UDP protocol.

I just messed with Crainium Crater and used the batch file for that mission.

@Daz
Thx for the info, but I currently don't have a router.
