Aside from TT the other little gem of a game I've been playing is called Lux. Version 5.2 just came out yesterday. It costs $24.99 and you get free upgrades.
http://sillysoft.net/
It's a RISK-like game x 100. Customs maps, bright graphics, challenging network play up to 6 players with world wide rankings (there's always players), simple interface, awesome customization of your prefs, fast games, etc. See some screenies here: http://sillysoft.net/lux/screenshots/
Anyway if you like strategy games I can definitely recommend this one! Wooot!
(In Lux my player ID is Iberville).
See you there,
Hugo Brain

PS they have a free demo of course!

Howdy Hugo! I grew up playing Risk. Probably my favorite board game ever! If I have time I'll check it out... :)

I'm also an old RISK player. Computerization made a great game even better. My Mac II SE spent the last few years of it's life as a portable RISK game. I gave up looking for a good online implementation years ago. This version rocks !

See you in there iberville.

Anybody ever play the boardgame Axis & Allies. They have a few versions of it on the net but it was for PC only.

I went to school in the snow belt and as a freshman we played the crap out of that game during the winter months. Was a lot better than going outside.

I'd always play as Russia. I'd get so bitter after building up my troops for fours and then get wiped out in two turns by a blitz from the German team.

Like a midget at a urinal, I was going to have to be on my toes.

Invite a retard to a picnic and you'd better expect to get drool in the potato salad.

@ Tally: Yes there's a demo version. No it won't let you win every time.
@ Rogue: A&A is fun too for a basic game. Sluggy and I are boardgames maniac...
@ BC What's your in-game name?
@ KKB Yes if you liked Risk this is for you. Never found a good online Risk game... Until Lux!

Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.

@ROGUE.... OMG Axis and Allies? My friend had two versions. The Battle of Britian and the Eastern Front. Talk about hours upon hours of fun. Have to look this up for the pc... Thanks! XD
