I have a diff quesion I want to get started in learing about ghame enginens and making stuff like char games details on gun mud trees and stuff. I want something that is easy to learn from. I tryed visual basic and that anyt really like game making kinda stuff I wana do rightr now. I was planning on buying torque for my birthday. Does it have tutorials that I can learn how to use animation. I g2g teacher made her round and sayed off....so what I was saying is that they need to be like a teacher showen me how to do it. I CANT READ AND LEARN! :S so is it a good program to buy. I am getting the demo today so ill be able to see osme but I need expert opinoin.

If you've got the nerve (and the patience), download Maya Personal Learning Edition (157MB) a go to it. Its free and there's plenty of support. Its fully functional, however everything you save will have an image watermark. The thing is, buying the full version is expensive.

Milkshape 3D is a freebie to download and you can make.DTS objects with it to import into TT. Thing is, since it is free it may not have the level of support you need.

You may want to visit GarageGames forums and look around for threads relating to 3D modeling and such.

No it doesnt alli did was follow a tutorial and change some changes that the tutorail lead me too. And the teapot was alreadfy maded. I just put it on ;) :S but still I hope it shows potential!

If you want to make maps for TT, then you DO need the Torque Game Engine. Visit the modding section for more details.

O ok I didnt wana make maps for tt I just wana find out HOW to make maps ;) also does anyone have alias silver addetion for the website? I really want the mentor lessons! (unless its illegal...) :S

I used a completely different program than you did. You're using Maya, I'm using Photoshop.

I use photoshop elements and I dont have a CLUE how you even started to make your sig!
