We celebrated it with pie!
The greatest number of pi digits memorized is currently 81,000.
The greatest number of pi digits calculated is currently over 1.24 trillion.
And then a bunch of cheesy pi jokes not worth posting...

My school had to do a brochure on pi. I seriously thought they wre kidding...they weren't :'(

We just celebrated today at my school. There was a thing where you could either recite at least 20 numbers of Pi and get a free slice of pie, or pay somethin like $ 1.50 for a slice...guess what option 99.9% of the people chose

Personally, I really like the concept of Pi I think its really neat, but so far I haven't convinced my brain to go farther than 3.14....comon dang it..re-mem-ber Pi...(bashing head against wall) Alas its no use :P

This is why I like letters, they dont go on for ever and ever like numbers. Why'd they have to make it so complicated, like 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10 let me put 'em all in a huge trash bin...
A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-I-J-K-L-M-N-O-P-Q-R-S-T-U-V-W-X-YYYYYY-Z now I know my A-B-C's next time wont ya' sing 'em with me?!

Numbers would be a lot more fun it there were rhymes like in the alphabet.
