this is going to seem like a strange topic.....

I got to wondering what it would be like to know when I will eventually die. Then I started wishing that I knew when my number was going to come up.

Would you like to know the date and time of when you will die?

A bit morbid of a question?

My mom died about five years ago on Martin Luther King day. That is probably why I was thinking about it since MLK's day is coming up again.

You are thinking too much about the mechanics of the question, the real question is, would you want to know? (just pretend that you could be told by a wise old sage who just happens to know when people die).

Heh, I guess there are some questions I can't wrap my mind around. Since I consider each day to be a bustling symphony of chaos and free-will, it is hard for me to supposedly "know" when I'd die. I'd be tempted to stand in front of a train two days prior just to test it! :P

Okay, okay, I'll give it a shot. Frankly, I would NOT want to know until 1 week prior. I don't want to live life feeling like I'm under a mortal deadline. However, I would like to tie up the loose ends of whatever I'm working on when it comes near to closing time.
