I recently reset my name protection, but now I cant get into PTT servers because it says my IP does not match. I've tried everything I could, but I still cant get in. Any help?

Yeah 445 my proxy emits fake ips for web browsing so ill never have the same ip as the real 1 given off while playing tt :'( and there is no way to disable this function so I have to use alltrations of my name like Kris ;=-

Just make your PTT name slightly different from your TT name e.g Kristofer OR Racer 445

No, because I want to get in USING MY NAME like I used to be able to.

Hey 445 put tm on your ptt name wil that wirk?

It's working again with my normal name.

If that happens again you can always uncheck

I did but it still protects :'(

FYI: Right now the game server copies the current settings from the web server twice a day. So after you change the nick setting in your profile, it could take 12 hours before it will take effect on the game server.

It did it to me too. It worked when lagman fixed it then it stopped now it wont work when I even do the update! :S

Eagle, it looks like your IP address changed the day after you updated you nick protection. If you update it again now, it should work for you tomorrow.

Ok but why does it keep changing? Is there a way to stop it?

You could turn it off, then you wouldn't get blocked anymore.

@56 I know why we still get blocked! Its because the server are not linked with ptt otherwise it would you show you recent game results right so its saved name protection questions and weve changed our ips and as the server isnt been fed data by the site we still get blocked.......
